How's the network guys? I turned off staking a couple of days ago.
The network has almost stop moving since yesterday mid-day.

It'll be back on in a bit when I've re-downloaded the blockchain.
Thank you.

it should be back in less than 24 hours! i added 300 block to stake and walrus is opening is wallet and downloading blockchain. dont forget to all keep your wallet open and stakinf!

It's a bad position to be in guys, relying on my wallet being open for the network to move. You all need to get staking if this coin has any chance of surviving.

Put it like this, when the network finally moves again when I start staking. What if I suddenly stop staking again and I move all my coins to an exchange and dump. If the network stops moving you're all fucked. Not that I'm going to do this, but it's the kinda shit that happens in crypto. Trust no one. Get staking!!

Blockchain download is taking an absolute age! It's only managed about 30 days of blocks in the last 12 hours, and I have 79 days still to go. If more of you opened your wallets up and started staking it may help me get the blockchain quicker.

So in case you are moving your coins to exchange to dump, I'm gladly catching those dumps. If somebody thinks CAIX is dead, he is wrong. I'm always saying a coin is only dead when it's network breaks apart. CAIX network has been working well so far thus the price might go up one day or another.

I think I've proved my point, my hunch was right, I'm almost solely moving the network, without my coins staking CAIx network is broken. I therefore cannot send all my coins to an exchange to dump on you, you'd find yourself in the unfortunate position of holding a massive bag of coins that you can do nothing with Cheesy

with my little coins I can get only 2 mining blocks from POS. One is given, the other still pending, but with 510 confirmations my contribution is like nothing.

In just two words, not 2 sentences: It's dead.

It's dead. Unless another dev wants to come along and take over the reigns.

I'm not some master crypto dev who can save this, it needs a big name dev, someone who will make outsiders want to invest. With me and my limited skills, only those who already have CAIx are going to be looking at it and hoping for a bag exit.

Absolutely right. But, please, think about it for a sec: Why would ANY REPUTED DEV want to be involved with this absurd and ridicule project when he can, instead, start his/her own coin project?

Sorry but it's doom and doomer...

I'm not entirely sure, but it has happened that a dev takes over an old coin for new ventures. Look at Florin and CACHe.

If someone takes it over, it's theirs, they can do what they want with it. And I have 12.5% of the coin supply to give them.

Not a single block created in 18 hours. I need 92 blocks before my oldest staking coins are mature. Not looking good.

That's good to hear!  Anyone closer to having mature coins?

If we get desperate, one option could be to ask BitTrex or Cryptsy to enable staking, just long enough to re-enable the rest of us.
