When you can see a chance to make the profit, you need to sell some part of your coins so you can take the profit and cashing out the money. That will be necessary if you want to make a profit in the trading still because if you want to make a bigger profit, you will have a chance to become greedy. And if you are greed, then you might lose the chance to make a profit later.

Everyone might already get that experience. But as long you get profit or not loss something, i think it is only how much people's greed level. And if you actually don't know what will happen next after when you sell your coins, it is ok to grateful for that.

Its true for majority of coins out there. Recently, the pump and dump thing are very common on most crypto because of the recent condition of the market. Now its a battle of strategy. The one with a good strategy wins. In this time of crypto market, its better to set a target. When you reach that target, it means get your profit and cash out. But if you are a patient guy, then holding your coin for a long time might benefit you.

Good to know that you have learned your lesson by way cash out any time you felt that you have made profit from your investment because what everyone of us is after is not more than to make more profit from our investment in the crypto currency, one you have identify such a method of getting more money to your capital then you are good to go.

HODL if you are dedicated to it but don't just hold forever. I've been selling if there's an urge for me to do or I'm oblige to do it.
You can't enjoy profit if you're not going to sell but it's also a good investment if you have a space dedicated to hold long term. Just balance yourself.

To be honest, nothing feels good than cashing out, even the tiniest of your profits. I have learnt to personally get contented in 3-5% short term profits than waiting for 10x-20x that may not even come, in the long term. The whales always have a history of manipulating the market direction to wherever they like thereby making it relatively harder for the average retail investors to secure maximum profits.

In esence, even if your profits is just 2-5% of your capital, learn to take it out before the whales come for you. Profit is Profit, never ever forget!

Cashing out seems a good and safe solution. You can cash out once the price is around 300-600 dollars high the initial price of bitcoin and then repurchase once it is back to the original price. This is the plan that I am currently looking forward too.
Yes, End of 2018 was a bit cruel to crypto, but we have been observing recovery in the market. As for now, the price is fluctuating so I would recommend the same unless we see some major fluctuations.
