Better invest on IEO from big exchangers and reputable exchangers. Right now many small exchanges want to launch their IEOs and sometimes offering big discount. Better keep research before make investment on IEOs

Just invest what you can afford to lose or never invest at all. I am worried a lot of these exchanges do not want to help the investors also. Exchanges that host these IEO's should make it as a matter of importance to prevent a certain amount of sale from a huge depositors which is likely to be from developers or private investors that bought with huge discounts. They are usually responsible for the dumps. No individuals that buy these IEO's at a certain price will not want to sell at a loss but those selling at such low prices are part of those I mentioned above

This has not do with generally being overtly security conscious of every financial engagements here. That is a why a thorough research is very pertinent, personally I have not bought into any IEO but I am taking my time to learn how it works and how to be safe within it

It is good to research about IEO and learn more about how things work here. I think that you will realize after your research about IEO that it is overcoming some of the negative point we had in ICO as a fundraising mechanism and in addition, since it makes sure the project is great, there is the least risk for an investor as compared to if you are planning to invest in ICO.

You are right mate, research is still very important for one to do even if it is IEO, I understand that these exchanges have given us the assurance that whatever IEO project we are investing in is a safe one, but we must know that everyone is not perfect and no matter how perfect we think we are, we all have a weak point and these weak point could be used against them if an hacker discovers it.

So rather than completely depending on the view of exchanges on these projects, we can also do our own research which will be quite simple for us, the difficulty in doing research was to know which project to research on out of the many projects in market, but these exchanges has already done their own by picking for us, so it is left to us to make the final decision through our own research.

This is a new game started by many different exchanges to raise their own funds. Previous crowdsale were much good because people had time to get to know the project in detail and can invest as per it. But sometimes due to funding the projects failed to start and had delays but that was still acceptable. But in case of IEO every exchange had created their own coins and conditions apply that IEO can be bought with those only and 80-90% times people and investors cannot buy it and the same old story pump and dump making people loose money.

Even though you have the plan to participate in IEO's and still you can't buy some tokens. IEO's are sold out less than a minute and many whales are just buying the big chunk of tokens and I think there is no limit that you can buy. Only the whales are the only ones could benefit from IEO's in Binance, and other top exchanges.

That's not true. As far as I know there is, and always was, a limit for each participant. Matic, the last IEO on the Binance had a maximum investmnet of $300 per ticket with a maximum of 5 tickets per user (so $1500 in total).

He is right in that the whales in the market can divide 500 bnb into multiple Binance accounts to get as many tickets as possible. With each winning ticket they have doubled the amount of $ 300, in addition to the profit from bnb's price increase since starting to hold BNB

I do agree with your point and before participating in IEO's you research first the project. And if you are into short-term profit, Binance IEO's have a good ROI. However, it's not easy to participate in Binance as they have a different rules to be eligible to buy IEO tokens. IDAX would be a great choice to participate in IEO's as they have lots of good projects.
