While i felt so bad to the victims, but the thing we must understand is that, is awareness. We have to understand that people are becoming greedy nowadays, and we as a user and a community, we must be aware of what projects we are investing in, just invest what you can afford to lose, otherwise you will lose a lot or win a lot.
that is gambling that we really need to understand from the start and everyone who invests in crypto should know that. the market can benefit you, but they can also take your money and lose it.
only less investors care about their money.and most of them invest in several projects but they could not accept any risk if its occur.and also forget the money amount that they could accept if their projects be scamm projects.

There is only one way, prevention. We need to learn more about the security, we need to build more secure marketplace by selecting only trusted and safe exchanges, we need to get regulations from the countries and we need to be under government protection. Example, if someone loose money, goverment with police will try to do their best.  Cool

We can't probably stop crypto crimes in the market but we can lessen it. All we can do is to be safe, we need to be careful in any cryptocurrency or in any project we are joining. Because not every project are safe and real. So for me, to help cryptomarket from getting worse of having crimes let just comply to join who owns a platforms like Dencoin that keep their team safe and sound through investment.

Crypto crime is always be there. Because everything that matters always have bad impacts. So what we’re gonna do is starting from ourself. First, we must learn about the project and do not too fast to believe in anyone or anything. Always be suspicious but in a positive way.

Indeed crime always happens everywhere including in the world of crypto currencies. Crypto currency crime is easier because this crime is like a crime in a subtle way but takes a lot of casualties. As crypto currency players we should not drop each other. We should always play wisely and healthily. If we have principles like this then we will be more financially healthy. We will not have the intention of harming others. But if a crime has occurred then we can make any viral news regarding this crime. Maybe an online version of CCTV can be developed that can detect who hacked or theft.

https://news.yahoo.com/cryptocurrency-thefts-fraud-hit-1-211446327.html

In Q1 alone of 2019 there was $356m in theft of digital currencies from exchanges and scams while losses from fraud hit 851m. This number includes the QuadrigaX scam which accounts to about $134m in total losses.

What can we do to help stop these from happening and getting worse?
in my opinion exchange earn a lot from fee they should hire some hacker to test their security. they need to make user feel safe using their platform they need to make the fee worth it . it just sad that almost all exchange didnt bother to do it they are just waiting to cash flow in their hands and when the hacking occur they will just disappear. for the scam and fraud we need to do a way to educate those new in crypto. that investing in crypto is risky and there no easy money .

Crimes that are related to cryptocurrency are getting worse, and we really can't do anything but to raise awareness about these hackers. Promote security and invest security to ourselves in order to protect our funds. We also have to tell people that cryptocurrency crime is not different from fiat related crimes.

Only there is one big problem for hackers who make such grandiose hacks is very difficult to find. And since the action of cryptocurrency is actually not legal, then who will be engaged in their search?

I always say that as far as cryptocurrency is growing and increasing, more investors and traders including hackers are attracted. I think its time people take care of their password and key well. Aside that, funds should not be held for a long time in an exchange.

the biggest weakness of the crypto world is the weak level of security from various exchanges, therefore crypto crime is very frequent, this is also the main cause of the loss of investor interest in investing in the crypto world, hopefully the future of crypto world security will be stronger

Nothing to be done. Security is getting better, but hackers are getting smarter and new vulnerabilities appear with updates.
So crypto is growing and losses are growing as well

That is a very sad news to hear. Anyway, cryptocurrency will always be accompanied by those crimes and we can't stop them but we can minimize them. There are many investments schemes that involves crypto and those schemes are very prone to hacking and scamming. All we can do is to be more careful and vigilant about our decision. Make sure you know what you are doing and always do the necessary precations.

First of all we all involving in cryptocurrency should be aware and should have crypto knowledge. This will help make traders, investors and bounty hunters aware about bad or scam projects.
Another step is regulations should bee in place. Another way is crypto community should form a regulatory body. We all should unite against scam projects.

With proper regulation, this would enable big business to adopt in crypto, we don't have to worry about education as for sure with regulation, people will be interested and when they are interested, that means they've done prior research first.

If we talk about the exchanges, we can not help them in safety. They themselves develop their own defense system, which, as we see, may not work. Nevertheless, we can protect ourselves. Never keep all your savings on the wallets of exchanges. Try to withdraw as quickly as possible the coins that you don't intend to trade now.
Also, keep your data safe. Don't download third-party applications from unverified developers on your laptop and be always attentive when visiting different sites.

Cryptocurrency is digital money, and for every digital technology with its digital protection, programs will always be created over time that will hack them. A particularly vulnerable cryptocurrency is so far now, when the states have not yet fully legalized it and have not joined their efforts to fight hackers and cobblers in this area. Until this is done, cryptocurrency holders will be at great risk for hacking and theft. We can only take personal measures to increase the security level of our own cryptocurrency.

I definitely think that exchanges can implement KYC/AML regulations to help them in safety just like ciphertrace does for say binance. I do agree wtih you that you should never keep your funds all in the same place, always keep them in multiple places

Crime free world isn't a possible fact to achieve, and when something is booming the attention automatically move over it. This is the major reason for the increasing crime. While using cryptocurrencies we need to be careful as well this is where the anonymity plays a big role, if there is transparency as now and no anonymity the scenario could've gone much worse.

this is one of the weaknesses of crypto because crypto does not get legality and legal protection. so everyone dares to manipulate. because of the loss of the exchanger or wallet, it might not be 100% theft, it could be manipulation to make the market fall. but if it is indeed theft, the exchanger or the lost wallet also cannot report to the police or the law because crypto does not have the power from the start.
