There is nothing we can really do about this fact. There are a lot of scams and it harms the image of crypto currencies, but if we would accept regulations of any kind, we would need to give up on anonymity and under that I mean full verification and lack of coins like XMR.

I think by now you should know that some of the exchanges are scammers, infact some so called big wings in the crypto sphere are scammers and that is why we have so much crime in the crypto sphere.

I think the risk to be hacked if you do not have too much is almost zero. The whales and crypto exchanges are the main targets of these crypto hackers. As for the crime where drugs and weapons are involved together with the cryptocurrency, it really seems to become a problem. If you know that you earned already from a certain project and you're still planning to earn, just stay on that project. Sometimes it is the fault of investors on that's why these scams are still happening.
1st - These investors/traders keep their funds inside of an exchange.

It is depressing to see that some projects are really just created to fail so that very few people can benefit. This fraudulent projects are non-stopping because the scammers are getting smarter in making their project and promises believable. That is why we should not use ignorance anymore as excuse for falling to them. Read, study again and again about cryptocurrencies especially the project that you want to pursue. And always try your best not to be easily swayed by your emotions so they can't play you again.

The basic solution to any crime is the prevention of the crime from happening. In terms of crypto crimes, people in the crypto space need to simply understand that the entire crypto ecosystem is not a get rich quick ecosystem. Because most of these crypto crimes are usually projects that trick people into believing that they could double their money just by investing into their project or product. People should actually understand that nothing really comes easier and cheaper in the crypto space. People should rather find more information about any project before putting their money into it.

Events such as scams will continue as long as potential investors do not conduct research. The QuadrigaX case gives a signal that it is not safe to store coins in the exchanger wallet because we have no control and this is a lesson that the safest way to store coins is in a wallet that we have full control over the private key

Don't let our self to be a victim of the crypto crimes happening in the crypto ecosystem, first thing to do is make a background search about the same project before making appointment about it and we have never keep or save our crypto coins or tokens on any exchange platforms, withdraw everything into your personal crypto wallets. I think it is difficult to do that because we know that scammers always have their own way to be able to make others believe and want to participate in the projects they bring and this is normal when others are persuaded by what they say and indeed we should more careful and not in a hurry in making decisions, for me personally it's good for us to share opinions with our close friends who we trust with the project we will follow before making a decision.

Really? It's not a lack or regulations, it's a lack of security measures. Basic ignorance and negligence is what mainly causes hacks and all that. Basic ignorance mixed with pure greed is what people have which is why they believe in ponzis, and scams, and put their money in something they know they shouldn't but want to because they want to make fast money.
