Maybe you can find more clarification in their telegram since they are very active there more than here, all i do know is QDAO has a very small supply and if this is mine-able then why many are rushing to buy from IEO and their OTC which i found not too attractive because of the lock period, instead of mining it otherwise, maybe mining will happen on a latter time.

As much as i would have love to buy QDAO through OTC because as it is the price is cheaper than buying from the exchange and the next IEO will be held by 1st September, but the lock period is really ridiculous in my opinion, i can't have my investment lock for a period of 2yrs and have just 10% hand out to me after every 3month, it is too long a time and a huge risk i would say,

Mining is not good because that will give the inflation to the QDAO and i still prefer QDAO use the fixe supply rather than mining.
QDAO doesn't act as a security token and it's much more to the utility token and that's why staking reward system is not applied to the QDAO.

QDAO can't be mined and it was having a fixed supply and that used POS system. This coin will be used as the power of voting for every holder to determine which the proposal will be approved by the majority of holders and this is having a similar role as shares in the company.
