For whatever reason that injury was there, I think in full body contact sports there is hardly a way at that age to fully recovery both mentally and physically. You can see football players drop at least one level after severe injuries and I can only imagine how much trust you would lose in your body when an injury happens the way it happened to McGregor. It's different afterwards and he already had that broken foot years ago. If he comes back, everyone will be counting down every second and then every round his body is still intact and the biggest problem about it is, he will do the same most likely. Since the Internet was full of those analytical videos trying to figure out whether this injury existed before the fight or not, was there ever a reasonable verdict from a reliable source?

I agree with you. Because in the first match after a long injury, he gets seriously injured again. And I don't see the stamina and power like before. But I want him to return to his previous form. At least one match he fights according to his prime. I miss his aggressive left hand move a lot. But I doubt whether he will regain his previous speed after overcoming this injury. Even then, if he can prove himself one last time and win the match with that famous left-hand strike, it will be the best comeback in UFC history. And I think his fighting strategy should be changed a bit. The way he used to fight aggressively and with over-confidence in the beginning, it would scare his opponent a little bit in the beginning, which was one of the reasons why they lost. And as a result of his bad losses in the last matches, his opponent doesn't think he is that strong anymore. These negative thoughts about him will continue to increase in the future, which will make it more difficult for him to recover from his injury and play a match again. And if he decides to start the match without being fully fit, then like many fans said last time that he started the fight despite being unfit only for business reasons, if he can't fight well in the future, everyone will say the same thing.

^^^^ I am following your predictions. Good luck mate. Conor McGregor posted a new video today showing that his knee surgery has been completed and he is now on the road to recovery. His comeback has officially started, not that anyone is happy with the way his last fight went. Maybe he will redeem himself next year, but I don’t put high hopes on that dream. I was surprised when Conor returned from a major leg fracture. None of the fighters who sustained the same injury could make a successful comeback. He tore his ACL and meniscus without landing a single punch in his last fight. I won't be surprised if he returns and since he is able to generate revenue, UFC will allow him to return but he can no longer perform anywhere close to his old level because of all the injuries he has sustained. ~ Since the Internet was full of those analytical videos trying to figure out whether this injury existed before the fight or not, was there ever a reasonable verdict from a reliable source? Lets say in a hypothetical situation, even if Conor McGregor's camp knew about the injury before the fight, they wouldn't release the details because the commission won't let an injured fighter compete. We can only speculate now.

After 2 major injuries in his last 2 fights to both of his legs, I don't think there is any comeback on. In addition to the huge physical barrier thaybhebhas to go through considering this age and fitness level, there will be a huge mental barrier too. Another fight will not be worth it for him, the UFC or whoever his opponent would have been. He can use the idea of a fight to fully recover, but after then focus should shift back to him maintaing his health and focusing on family. To me his last fight is still the one against Khabib, that was the time they both retired from the sport

My final picks for the card:
Nurgozhay inside distance — 2.02 Gamrot ML — 2.11 Sousa KO/TKO — 2.66
All three have value at these odds in my system.
Nurgozhay won by round 1 knockout so the fight didn’t really go the distance. Sousa won by UD even though you predicted a KO/TKO.
The Gamrot vs Salkilld fight was the one that caught me off guard and it was pretty much the only UFC fight i watched yesterday. I never expected Gamrot to get submitted in round one like that, it was so crazy considering the fact that Gamrot is also a good wrestler and has a decent ground game which he has shown many times even in his fight with Arman. It’s becoming very obvious that Salkilld is gonna be a problem in that lightweight division. The guy is already on a long win streak and with his performance yesterday, i think he is gonna have a bright future at the lightweight division. The UFC should give him BSD or Paddy next, i’d love to see how he’s gonna fare against either of those two.

When? In 5 years again to screw up, get injured and go back home? After his lat performance I think a lot of people were unsatisfied huge and next time, even if he comes back, they wont buy tickets or subscriptions. If right now little who believed in his victory, then when or he returns, people would give him 0 or -100% chances to win. Both of his legs are heavily injured. One wrong move and he is done; again Btw next week we Makhachev vs Machado Garry. Either quick upset or another leg injury so many undefeated have fallen recently, wont be surprised much if Garry wins lol

Conor isn’t the right guy or the ideal guy for me, either personally or as an athlete, but I want people who have dedicated years of their lives to this sport to earn good money in their final years... This sport involves enormous risks. These athletes took huge risks while putting on spectacular shows for us. I want them to earn good money from their final fights so they can live the rest of their lives a little more comfortably before they retire. In other words, I prefer to watch his or other fighters like him in their final fights as a visual spectacle rather than as an example of competition, and I don’t think it’s right to subject their performances to a professional evaluation...

Hype the project, gather the money from the followers then dump the token on the day of the release of the project. Conor ScamGregor heheeheh! In any case, it appears that Islam vs. Garry on UFC 330 might be similar to Khabib vs. Conor, Dagestani vs. Irishman. I am very much excited for this and I speculate that this will be a shocking performance by Garry.

Here are results of the last event and wow... I never expected Salkilld to be that good of a fighter tbh and to see his fight experience to be a tad early in the game. It's impressive. But we all know he'll hit a wall sooner or later. Quillan Salkilld def. Mateusz Gamrot via submission (rear-naked choke) – Round 1, 4:25 Diego Ferreira def. Billy Quarantillo via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Yadier del Valle def. Darren Elkins via TKO (punch) – Round 1, 0:35 Alexia Thainara def. Amanda Lemos via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27) Ty Miller def. Billy Ray Goff via TKO (punch) – Round 3, 0:15 Steven Asplund def. Guilherme Pat via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) Diyar Nurgozhay def. Bruno Lopes via TKO (punches) Round 1, 4:59 Jose Montanha def. Yeap, Salkilld surprised me. I must put this kids name in my notepad and look after him. He is 26 only. I think he neede time to be on same level with all those matures fighters. He needs to be put on old but a good trampoline diet like Dariush who he already beat. Fiziev, Hooker. To build more confidence. He is now suppose to become #6. He is not ready for Pimblett, Holloway, Tsarukyan, Oliveira. Tokeweed, I am on vacation, please pick-up my flag and make next event announcement post. I cant do it properly on mobile and vpn is slow here; cant even access forum. But I was able to watch previous event review while flying

The dude literally walked through Gamrot in that fight and he is currently sitting on a ridiculous run of finishes. BSD on the other hand is also coming off from his loss to paddy so i feel like Salkilld is still fresh enough and highly ranked enough that if he happens to beat BSD, it could turn into a big step up for him without seeming like he’s being thrown into a total nightmare matchup. Fights like this are what Salkilld needs to continue keeping his momentum going and it could potentially put him in the top 5 debate. As long as both BSD and Salkilld are healthy, i see no reason why the UFC shouldn’t make that fight happen.

But what if BSD wins? Young guy will have his perfect record in ufc spoiled. He would have to start his series of wins to get to title fight from the start. Giving him BSD can be risky, because if he wins, then there are only monsters left who might eat Salkilld soul and he would be never be same again. It matters what plans ufc have for him. Either try to make him new milk cow, or make him cool but will never be champ. My two cents: he is to young to face best or the best opponents.

Oh please! that’s the classic “protect the prospect” argument which usually doesn’t do any much good than just to delay the inevitable and kill the momentum of the said prospect. Salkilld is 26, not 21. The dude is already 6-0 in the UFC with almost all of his fights ending in finishes. Let’s be realistic, at some point they’ve gotta stop treating him like porcelain. BSD is just coming off a loss, so i would say that he isn’t a top-3 killer right now, and BSD is exactly the kind of ranked name that would be able to test whether this kid is actually next-level contender or just a highlight reel merchant against mid tier guys. Of course if he loses it would suck, but looking at it on a brighter side, it would also still give the UFC and its fans some real data to work with. It’s better to find out now against BSD than to get fed with three more safe wins only to then get exposed later when the stakes and the hype are much more higher. If he does win cleanly, the division would no longer have any excuses left to keep him outside of the top 5 lightweight conversation. The UFC cannot be able to build champions by wrapping them in bubble wrap forever, the only way to build them is by giving them real tests at the right time and if you ask me, it’s about fucking time already.

I want to know who the fight of the week will be for the main event of UFC 330. Islam or Garry? I'm not even going to pay much attention to the other fights, I just want Garry to come in and win to end this party atmosphere and these boring fights with endless grappling.

Recently, we’ve seen some of the biggest favorites lose: Merab, Khamzat, Ilia, Pantoja, and others... Many favorites have lost their belts. Today, Islam is once again the heavy favorite and has been undefeated for 10 years, and his opponent Garry is a very serious challenger with an advantage in height and reach... Islam had completely dominated the lightweight division. Now he’s heading into his second fight in the welterweight division, where he will face one of the division’s top fighters. If he wins this fight and then defeats one more opponent in this weight class, he will have largely dominated this division as well... There have been fighters who’ve held titles in two weight classes in the past, but no fighter has ever dominated two weight classes. Islam is at a crucial point in building a legacy that no one can deny. And he’s done this by choking out his opponents and knocking them out. He didn’t win his fights solely on his wrestling ability. In my opinion, judging him based solely on his performance against JDM isn’t a fair approach...
