people its no use selling at 2, trying to buy back at 1. it wont happen, this is why:

< 75000  - reward 1-62500 per block,  supply:  14,531,250,000 total blocks 15000 value:   468,750,000  52,05 days
< 90000  - reward 1-31250 per block,  supply: 14,765,625,000  total blocks 15000 value:   234,375,000  62,46 days
< 105000 - reward 1-15625 per block,  supply: 14,882,812,500  total blocks 15000 value:   117,187,500  72,87 days
< 120000 - reward 1-7812 per block,   supply: 14,941,406,250  total blocks 15000 value:    58,593,750   83,28 days

2 billion at 1 satoshi ( 20 btc ). according to above stats:

468,750,000
234,375,000
117,187,500
 58,593,750
------------ +
< 1 billion

even if multipools get every block and dump everything, you need to wait a year ( or more ) to get it filled.

current buy wall is 20. so less then half can be filled in 30 days +/-

if you add now to 1. it just wont happen. sorry.

IF the buy @ 1 stays like this ofcourse.

I think the topic " LEAFCOIN - Currency for Charities" doesn't suit LEAF.  Leaf should always focus on nature projects.

Yes, that is the current Charity and Goal of the Temporary Leafcoin foundation http://foundation.leafco.in/  I encourage you to join Leafcoin Forum and #Leafcoin IRC so we can all share out thoughts and Ideas!

This temporary Foundation will function until the much more extensive Foundation Project is completed.  The Leafcoin Devs are working on Leaf projects daily but also are working Fulltime Jobs as well as having Family responsibilities when home.  In spite of thier busy schedules they are still active on the #Leafcoin IRC Channel throughout the day, everyday, while at work and are able to make the time.  In addition to Leafcoins charitable purpose, it was my seeing the true dedication, persistence, and belief in Leafcoins ability to Help "Make a Difference" from the Leafcoin Devs that brought me in and wanting to be a part of the LEAF Community.  I had nearly given up on all new Altcoins as only being created to make money for the creators and the Pump&Dump groups and serve ZERO other purpose besides this.  Leafcoin was a refreshing change for me and once I joined the #Leafcoin IRC...I never left  Cheesy

These guys are very persistent and plan to continue improving Leafcoin for the Long Term!  Much has been accomplished in the 6 weeks since Leafcoin inception and I know first-hand that there are many exciting projects in the pipeline that will surely create a Buzz in the Altcoin Community.

Feel free to come and join us in IRC:  #leafcoin @ irc.freenode.net:6667

If you don't have an irc client, click here for a webversion: https://kiwiirc.com/client/irc.freenode.net:6667/#leafcoin or use a standalone irc client like xchat and join #leafcoin @ irc.freenode.net:6667

hi mcg

since you are testing digishield, will you consider:

1 - removing the random reward (or link it with difficulty) since multipools can predict the profitable blocks?
2 - change the algo to a asic-non friendly hash?

thx.

1) we will be looking into this
2) will have to wait for mcg to respond on this, but I don't think asic is going to be for a while so not a immediate threat.

1 - yes, removing random rewards will be implemented on next whatever fork
2 - is questionable, discussable, since mining rate is already so much down and rewards will go down as well we dont expect much mining anyways
3 - digishield. question is if it really helps against multipools/is better then kgw on lower hashrates. it will retarget better is the expectation. but we would like to test it first on a testnet. digibyte is running some time with it.
4 - layout and such
5 - must check some other lists as well....

you think>>>you work
you can always (focus on nature projects)
it can be currency for charities, and for nature projects, and for everything can make it useful...
