Try to visit each social media they have and see how their admin manages social media, if what you see is very good at managing social media then that is one of the points to increase our trust in their platform. I usually do that simple thing to find out how their team works.

Indeed, sometimes unexpected projects can produce an advantage without us knowing it. I agree if we really have to research ourselves before investing. Maybe with that our investment will be useful and get a certain advantage So there is no harm in doing this and in investment, of course no one can be responsible other than yourself.
