New platforms such as altcoins, you mean? Anyone who get introduced to something new cannot easily trust that product or item, same goes with crypto. Especially with scam projects being rampant in the industry, researching is the first thing to do. With crypto, it's more of a gamble than investment, which also makes it more risky than stable. Do good research about a project before - its technology, the team behind it, and its benefits to the people. You can then evaluate what to do depending on what you  have learned and choose wisely. You can never truly trust a project or platform once you experience it, so do it with discretion.

i am agree with this point.unfortunately most of new investors didn't spend their time to observe about projects.so they just following suggestion from review site or their friend.their knowledge will not improve and possibility to suffered loss very big.

Well it is not very easy to trust something when it comes to matters related to money and your investments. There had been very new projects launched via ICO but they were not good. SO yeah, you should be careful in case of choosing a new exchange and if you are on the good old exchange, you might be more secure as compared to being on a brand new one.
