Yes mobile wallet is dangerous but I think your security is depend on your actions. Let your private keys and password secure and private don't let other people will know it even if they are not knowledgable about crypto it is dangerous. But from the start I am already using mobile wallet but my stategy is I don't store my token here. When I get my bounty salary I will transfer it to my personal bank account right away for assurance.

That is absolutely right. Having a mobile wallet is so dangerous. If youre meticulous about the security i think you should use hardware or paper wallet thats the most secure way in storing your bitcoins. I said that because I think all online wallets are prone to hacking. Phishing links are all over the internet. Your security really depends on yourself. It will be more secure if you use extra features like two way authentication like Google authenticator.

I use it regularly since mobile wallets are relatively convenient. Some apps could enable you to pay for your bills or other stuffs besides being used as a wallet. It does however have many limitations like being unable to use it if there's no internet or if the establishment don't transact with mobile payments.

I use a mobile wallet, but I keep a very small amount of funds there. In order to carry out fast transactions, it is very convenient.

Currently im using electrum as of now, but im planning to use one in the future if the wallet is secure and offering lightning network and also segwit, i feel like mobile wallet is much more secure compare to desktop one, especially if your using iOS because iOS is restricted.

Its easy to use when sweeping from a paper wallet and send it out and uninstall the app. Wont use it longer then need. But from the start I am already using mobile wallet but my stategy is I don't store my token here. When I get my bounty salary I will transfer it to my personal bank account right away for assurance. A hardware wallet would be the best option ; )

I use some wallets on the smartphone, but more for the test. I try to keep fixed assets in paper wallets, as for me this is the most reliable storage. And about the theft of funds from a smartphone, there is not yet any viruses yet that can install themselves without user involvement, care is needed.
Being conscious with securities of your assets is really in need when you use mobile wallets, in fact not only securities from hackers but also from being stolen physically, if you store assets inside your mobile device and the gadget got stole or you lose it then everything will be out of your hands.

Myself too using electrum and btc wallet. This gives the ease of accessing in an mobile. All the private keys backings were kept safe on a separate file as the mobile could get damaged anytime. Whether it is mobile wallet or desktop wallet we need to keep the backing so to use it at the time of need.

Anyone who use mobile wallets? I think it is very dangerous.
Nothing is fool proof. Even Metamask gets hijacked, MyEtherWallet does get copied for information to be phished. Even Binance a known secured cryptocurrency exchange is hacked recently. What makes you think nothing in this industry is dangerous?

Your exposure to risk depend on the type of mobile wallet you are using. I use quite a good number of them and I have not had any issue, but I do not know about the newly lunched mobile wallets by other platforms. Some of them may be designed, primarily to steal the funds of users. Which is why you need to be careful.

Yeah the use of mobile wallets are somehow dangerous and one is the fact that anyone can have access to your phone at anytime. That's one great risk. But the best way to protect yourself is to use strong security protocols- Passwords, fingerprint, 2FA, etc

It dependes on your purposes. If you are making payments in person and not online then a mobile wallet is a must. If you will need to make frequent payments then it will be best to keep your funds in wallet that is easy to use and accessible. Mobile wallets and desktop wallets are good options.
Use a mobile wallet as your checking account, and a hardware or secure offline wallet as your savings account. Mix and match to find a combination that provides both security and accessibility

Anyone who use mobile wallets? I think it is very dangerous.
Any wallets other than your wallet, are have potential to be dangerous. The safest wallet is your own wallet, such desktop wallet which you need to download the blockchain database first. If you are using mobile wallet, the private key is not on your possession.

The best caution index you can have with a mobile wallet is that you put a balance not so high, in my case I use a wallet where I do not place more than 0.01Bitcoin, since it is more susceptible to possible hacking or have little security .
One measure is that it should be used with private key SHA-256, because I think it gives much more confidence to it, and in fact if you use a mobile wallet that your balance is for quick use, that is, if you are going to use the wallet mobile that is to actually use it and not have it to hold, because all transactions are tracked and can locate your transactions there, in an address that does not change in a while and that every time receives deposits and not withdrawals.
Always use different wallets and not hard with a lot of balance but little, when you are going to withdraw making a purchase or even to take out at ATM.

I am very confused when people say that using mobile wallets is very dangerous, as if others are much more effective. Immediately recall the recent attacks on the electrum. And for those who believe only in hardware wallets there is good news that some developers of mobile wallets are also developing their own hardware wallets.

No is not It might depend on the ones you use i think so the best idea is to get ones that dont keep your private keys and seed with them Then copy those info and store it safe, With that you might be able to retrieve your wallet when ever there is a need for it

I use a lots of mobile wallet and they are kind of good these days they are handy they are easy to pick you will get support at anytime. So yeah I always go for mobile wallets. But only 5-10% of my total portfolio store in mobile wallets. For dapps and blockchain games mobile wallets are very helpful. I normally use those wallets which are picked or created by the official team. Yeah it's kind of risky cause these days whatever you use this phones are very much risky when you go for the big amount of money.

I use mobile wallets since am more close and attached to mobile phone. For sometime now, I have never been comfortable with mobile wallets than PC. I kbow everything comes with its pros and cons. It's all depends on how careful you are about your private keys and other security details and nothing else.

As long as you store your mnemonics and Passphrases in a personal not in cases of theft, Mobile wallets are usually most convenient. It is online secured and its easy to use. You can try out imtoken, eidoo and trust wallet. They are the best I have used
