At first, I was too negative with IEO due to eradicating issues like a scam or any other speculations relating to fraud. But with binance story of success, it was amazing and impressive information about handling IEO projects without any circumstances encountered despite that we're in the bearish trend of the market. I just wonder why some IEO exchange market nowadays weren't able to sustain with the underlying concerns by many, and that their raised coins haven't generated good demands. Maybe its time for them to study how binance do it, and also for the other trading sites to generate the best strategies.

I myself participated a couple of times in the IEO, but I could not make a profit. The last coin on Binance is KAVA, I managed to make good money on the scalp. She kinda was also at IEO if I'm not mistaken.

Initial coin offering popularly called ICO and intial Exchange offering also known as IEO are both form of sales and fund raising for crypto projects. The major difference between the two is that ICO is conducted by the project itself and for IEO the fund raising takes place on an exchange. In ICO the marketing strategy can be wide and strenuous and might demand alot as the project will b trying to create fresh awareness. While in IEO the bulk of marketing responsibility rests on the shoulders of the exchange where the IEO will be carried out.  So basically the project depends largely on the popularity of the exchange to do the marketing

I predict that the IEO has cooled down and there is no HOT, of course in the current period of 5/2019, there are still many investors participating in the IEO. But sooner or later, if the exchanges do not have other policies, or do not have much supportive information, then perhaps this investment trend will gradually decline and will go into oblivion in the near future .

I will not suggest to invest on IEO at all and expecting ICO to comes with some good projects very soon. In marketing side IEO companies does not need to show them out only they will make the marketing funds up.
ICO projects use to reach the every person and investors individually and make the money but IEO doesn't operate like just they give money to exchange.

the difference between ICO and IEO is certainly very different in marketing techniques and I have a lot participated in many IEO even though only a little have achieved success. IEO marketing techniques are directly carried out on exchanges and make investors comfortable investing in them, in contrast to ICOs whose sales are carried out in secret and most end up with fraud.

OP was looking for marketing options for IEO and ICO. I believe that is a more risk free thing to do but at the cost of your own reputation. There are some members of this forum who are working as community managers. They promote projects to mass media and get a userbase going to attract investors. But rarely few of those projects actually develop something worth value.

So for them it is possible to get a upfront payment, promote it till the project fails then then leave it. They got paid unlike bounty hunters who will cry of scam.

there is indeed a price of coins from IEO reaching 200-300%, but that is not the original price of IEO but after pumping it reaches that much. Not all IEOs are successful depending on the market, too, in my opinion. I have participated in IEO at Bittrex and in my opinion there is less interest in following and investing there, but nowadays people prefer IEance to binance over other markets that hold IEO, because there are relatively stable prices for coins triggered through IEO.

just to add, keep in mind also that not all IEOs are successful even though they are supported by a large market. Staying inside the crypto the main foundation is not only from fundraising packages such as IEO or ICO but also from how strong the community of the coin / token is. A few months ago I joined IEO, two of the three IEOs failed, the target was not achieved even though the IO was held in a large market and had a good reputation.

The difference between ICO and IEO is that in ICO, tokens are sold directly from the project website, and with IEO via exchange. The difference between IEO on reputable exchanges and on shitexchanges is that IEO on reputable exchange gives the impression that the project is more credible.
None of these options guarantee the intentions of the creators or that the project will succeed.
For me, the future of collecting funds for project development is STO, because a real company must be behind the security token and the investor is protected by law. And after such an invasion of scams for investors will be the most important security, which at this time only STO gives.

The above two statements contradict each other. Dont you think? If they are attracting inevstors they would be successful provided the team is doing its work efficently. So either the investors coming in is a false news or the developers are incompetent. Another extreme possibility is that the project was just a cash grab from the start.

Marketing is an essential part of the project if they want it to be successful. Its not necessary but it helps.

Which was why ICOs came back in a new "disguise", rebranded themselves as IEO. Same old bullshit, just a new persona. Typical methods of scam.

Feature of IEO investing know which one exchange listed for their coin and different with ICO when listing we don't know which market they will use for selling their coin, maybe on ICO not schedule when listed their coin on market but IEO have correct time when listing their coin. I like investing with IEO because most faster can sell our coin than ICO investing have waiting about one month.

Maybe it can give the impression that IEOs needs less advertising and marketing to sell its tokens compared to ICOs. The truth is that for both ICO and IEO it is necessary to invest a good marketing strategy and achieve a successful token sale.
IEO is a novelty but be cautious when investing your money.
Quickly consider the following:
What problem does the project want to solve? and How they are going to solve it?
Is there a minimum viable product (MVP)?
Does the team have credentials?
The project has partnerships.
With these simple questions, you can to verify that it is an authentic project.
