Everytime bitcoin crashes it's price eth will also be affected and declined badly once it happened. Probably there'll be possible minimal fall, but not to the point it could worsen it's scenario. We've expecting a lot of trending probabilities now, because it seems corrections already taken it over and will cover up the struggles of holders.

That pretty shows the dominant of bitcoin controlling the entire market, and that includes ETH.

Probably there'll be possible minimal fall, but not to the point it could worsen it's scenario. We've expecting a lot of trending probabilities now, because it seems corrections already taken it over and will cover up the struggles of holders.

To make it simple, we should not look only at the dollar value because if we do, we might get confuse, look at the graph instead.
Thing is, ETH rises in value because BTC rises, and when it moves in the other direction, it follows, ETH has not rally yet independently, same with most alts.

It happens with simple logic. The price of Ethereum is directly positively correlated with Erc-20 tokens, for purchasing any token traders need to go buy the first ETH. There is the reason behind this direct correlation but exceptions are not rare in the crypto market.  New investors visit the crypto markets because a big part of them just heard about the Bitcoin. This correlation index goes down if Bitcoin dominance and price goes up together form my understanding.

but sometimes the situation is different. somehow we have to make the best price predictions. or the best market prediction. because every prediction is made and I read here, most are just opinions that are unfounded.

Apparently, everything depends on the movement of bitcoin. It's dominance over altcoins have been well over 40 percent. I don't see any possible eth run at the moment because of this current drag. Even if it will come, it might just happen as a surprise

the reason why it's moving like a snail is that we are in bearish season,  had it been it's during the bull season I'm pretty sure that there will have been more than $1k or $2k by now

Pumps usually come after dumps, so if you see dumps, at bottom price, it means that pumps to come soon. In 2018, or early months of 2019, I have never imagined that I can have opportunities to buy Ethereum at prices below 0.02 BTC. That is unimaginable chance for Ethereum enthusiasts. Let's take it, if you don't do it, you will do regret due to missed chances in coming months.

I wish it will do a bull run so that would help the altcoins market to recover, especially the ETH tokens which was really down big time.
Though we always wants it to happen, it seems like the market itself are not behaving the way we like as bitcoin pushes upward, it only makes altcoins worse and it's been controlling the dominant rate by increasing it.

It's been 3 months since OP made this thread yet the price is stagnant around $220 - $230 for past 2 weeks without any big pump/dump. Have seen lot of articles regarding this and many people saying that we will still see Ethereum at that range of price for next month if there is no good news happened.

if there is no good news on the market, ethereum will certainly not move much different from now. but now if we look at the market, the conditions are a little better. many altcoins are also moving up now. bull hasn't happened yet, but this upward movement is good for trade and investment.

Ethereum price is very low So its still a very good time to invest in as the bull run hasn't really started for the ethereum but it will.

We know in comes of prices of the coins that we believe are have time to increase the price down. And for etherium it was good for now that price of it reach to $200 or more than to $300. I think so. Bitcoin dominance is too high already. Last such dominance was in December 2017 when BTC hit his AHT price. SO we should see altseasoon soon.
