I'm curious to know what the community thinks in terms of how user friendly entering this market is? I know we've come a long way from the days when UX/UI was extremely poor for most companies but are there other areas that require improvement?

As for me, it's user-friendly but there are just some areas where you should have the eagerness to learn about. People would not have it in terms of investment and mode of payment if it isn't user-friendly. It's causing too much convenience and the blockchain technology is even making things in the finance area lighter. Sometimes, we are thinking that cryptocurrency itself is not easy to use but it sometimes depends on the wallets that we're using.

Bitcoin is one of the most user-friendly cryptocurrencies in existence. Once you understand what a private key is and the basic concept behind the blockchain then it is extremely simple to access. Sending and receiving money using a private key is fun and makes payments a snap. If you are new, I would go on YouTube and learn as much as possible before buying your first coins.

People find it more user friendly to use bitcoin through whatever every wallet, for the same users should learn some basics about the use of cryptocurrencies. When years pass the usage will increase and automatically more and more applications will come with much user friendly access. Earlier people found it a difficult thing to use smartphones and now everyone have got adopted to its usage. Same is happening with cryptocurrency.

Honest answer: no. The string of numbers and characters makes it somewhat intimidating for first time users who aren't familiar with computers. Most of my friends whom I introduced bitcoin to literally can't grasp the concept of receiving using only those strings. Also, most wallets still use jargon that aren't comprehensive/helpful enough for your average newbie, hence the mistakes a lot of newbies made. I know that bitcoin has a steep learning curve for the technologically challenged, but then again if one can point them to an easy to understand tutorial, perhaps things will change.

Bitcoin is multifunctional and it plays a lot of roles in users and the economy so I could say that it's user-friendly and I have no doubt about that. Crypto community wouldn't grow fast if they're having trouble using cryptocurrency but it's more convenient compared to fiat. We could access it anytime and anywhere.

It is user friendly. More user friendly than fiat. We live in a generation where everything is accessible through internet. And I think bitcoin makes it easy. Also, the technology behind bitcoin is really good not like boring fiat. But not everyone is accepting bitcoin payments. The price also is a factor on how it pulls people. Plus the factor of decentralization where you fill protected and anonymous.

Hell no.
The services to buy it do not make your life easy getting into them, though they're not to blame for that.
Once you have it, the options to store and spend it will look very confusing to the uninitiated.
If someone is recommended Mycelium they're going to be faced with seeds, Segwit or legacy addresses, fee estimates and more.
It's no big deal once you're up to speed, but many will run away in tears before that moment.
Since capacity is limited it's probably for the best that it isn't a total breeze. It'll be interesting to see how something designed for a five year old will work.

From the user end: I'm not sure what can be done more to make it more user-friendly. There are many things that even a child can use easily. From Android applications to web wallets. Take the look at Coinbase wallet as an example, how to make it easier to use? Really hard.
From the merchant end: perhaps this is where there are still a lot of things to make. If merchants (small or big, online or offline) are not very excited about the idea of accepting Bitcoin it may be that on their side they don't really have 'user-friendly' solutions (knowing that they are not in Bitcoin, it's something brand new for them). They can face several problems like to adapt their terminal (which can only be done by the banks) or install a wallet themselves, making a TX, exchanges, accounting, framework, etc, etc.

If you are really experienced in the use of cryptocurrencies like myself then you would have no problem making transaction in bitcoin or cryptocurrencies. All you have to do is to read and understand how to make transactions with the use of cryptocurrencies and you would have no problem with it.

I think that wallet and applications developers have made a very good job lately at improving the UI for both desktop and mobile platforms. You have wallets with simple commands like send, receive, see transaction history, etc. The design of most wallets are modern and clean. I don't know how cryptocurrency use could be made more user friendly to be sincere..

Using bitcoin or any other crypto currency is actually quite user friendly. It's just the same way of using Paypal or other payment gateway to send or receive coins. Instead of the email address, you put in the bitcoin address of the user you want to send coins to and just press send. That is it. It can't be more simpler than this!

Let's be honest crypto is not for your Grandma and Grandpa. They will never ever able to adjust to the new system.
Even most of the middle aged morons don't understand what's going on right now. I'd say at least half of them use their iphones only to check their stupid facebook photos.
Only the millenials and half of the gen Y members will be able to understand and use crypto.
It is not about the User Interface. It is about understanding the technology. Once you get what bitcoin is and how it works, UI doesn't really mean shit.

Using bitcoin and crypto, is not really that hard, if you are a beginner all you need is a wallet that you can easily sign up to get on one of the online apps like coinbase and blockchain and than you are good to go to start earning some crypto, but as you dive more deeper into this world, you start exploring and learning the ropes you discover more ways that require more knowledge and understanding, for example how to set up an offline wallet and private keys to secure your funds.

To get a real picture its depends if the topics relay on personal or general use in term of all people, start with personal will depend to the level of adapting technology meaning blockchain technology, level of knowledge and capacity to have internet tools, device, wifi or cellular network, In general isn't user friendly compare to the world engagement on bitcoin/cryptocurrency is not much compared to the populations we have although there are some wallet and exchange tries to simplify the use of it.

Currently, No! It is somehow become the biggest problem in the cryptocurrencies ecosystem in term of UX/UI design. Especially older generation who arent keep up with technologies, What we need to do is to make a thing that is easy to access, What I mean is, so the newer generation could one-time taught to them, and hopefully, it is easy enough for them. Nevertheless, it would come to different problems since cryptocurrencies have 'BYOB' motives, it will be hard for them to manage the seeds and private keys.
Although It becomes a significant problem, it doesn't mean, a good UI/UX doesn't exist on Cryptocurrency. IMO, Exodus wallet and Delta portfolio apps really have a user-friendly design. I'd like to see more platform follow their path, even though an improvement still could be made.

It's not easy to tell since you need to put yourself in someone else´s shoes before answering this question. For us, everything is easy, we know how things work and we are used to it, but for someone who is new, things can be complicated, especially when it comes to keeping and being responsible for their keys. This is why centralized custodial services, where users only need a username and a password, exist.

From my personal experiences in the crypto ecosystem, I don't really think and see Bitcoin or cryptocurrency as user friendly. I remember my first time trading some tokens i had for Bitcoin on an exchange platform, I lost about 10% of the actual worth of the tokens just because I had some challenges trying to sell my tokens for Bitcoin. Most of the cryptocurrencies require that users have a little technical skills. But I think there are new platforms being introduced into the crypto space trying to bridge this gap.

Yes, most of the cryptocurrency requires a little technical skills before using it that's why it always prefer us to study first and become knowledgeable because on that way we are being aware on how to use it properly and can generate strategies that can help us to minimize those risk of losing a money.

If you do get to know how the market works, how you can buy and sell safely without being scammed. If you know how good you can achieve profits and how fast you can make a transaction. If you are willing to accept you can lose your balance in a matter of seconds with a wrong buy you will be ready to join this new market (since it's a new user we are talking about). Just make sure you have read everything you need and start your journey into this Crypto world.

in my opinion, it depends on crypto users. but in general the crypto world is very friendly and very useful for our lives. on the other side, crypto is used by some people for crime and fraud. so crypto becomes unfriendly from the social side. then. Crypto mining is also not friendly. we need another source of energy. like hydropower and solar power.

Comparing the nature of cryptocurrency platforms in 2010 and 2012 to the current platforms available to new users now, I will say cryptocurrency currently is very user friendly. These new platforms have made it possible that people who are new to the crypto space can easily comprehend the features of cryptocurrency platforms and can start using them.

Bitcoin transactions are not reversible and this is why I consider bitcoin or crypto currency is not a user friendly. If you want to be part in crypto community then you need to study first especially the basics so you will not loss a single amount of your money.

There is a lot of work that needs to be done around the area of private key management. If you are not on top of the game in terms of it security, like multiple encrypted backups, strong passwords and multiple steps of verification, you soon see that we are far away from your average person being comfortable holding significant amounts in crypto currencies. Its not like keeping cash in a vault, but thats where we'll need to go, figuratively speaking.

It is use-friendly but I highly suggest that you read books or watch videos online explaining the fundamentals and basics of cryptocurrency in-order to understand it fully. When I started this forum 2 years ago, I was fortunate enough to have someone who is literate about this technical world. But I went the extra mile by watching videos online and browsing here in the forum to grasp each concept. Learning how to drive by watching videos or through reading will not make you a good driver, experience does. I also suggest that you attempt to earn bitcoins and do transactions to highly-trusted users in the forum.
Back when bitcoin first started, there were few to none websites/reading materials that will guide you along the way. Fortunately, its reputation gradually increased and videos of guides started to rise in the internet.

In general, I do not agreed that is a user friendly. It is complicated IMHO. Bitcoin, preferably blockchain technology is hard to understand. There are some areas yhay need improvements but we can see that as the time goes by, the development of btc is good. If you are used to it by now, you can really say that it can be user friendly. But for a newbies, it is not yet.

the use of bitcoin and digital currencies is an easy matter so that this can be said to be user friendly. just like other services that when we do transactions with bitcoin then it's as easy as using mobile banking and even in my opinion it's much easier. it depends on our principle whether we want to try new things or not.

Bitcoin is user-friendly but can't say the same about other cryptocurrencies as Bitcoin is popular among the people and is acceptance level is quite high. The current BTC price i.e. $8K has polished its position one more time in the crypto market.

Mistakes are always possible but that depends on users, not on crypto system that is to my opinion user friendly and relatively simply. However, that doesn't mean that users don't need to inform themselves first. But to my opinion it's not complicated to.use Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies and it doesn't take long to learn basic how to use it. But there will always be reckless users who will make mistakes on their own damage no matter how simple system is.

Its a no for me. You can see that there are less than 1% (approx.) of the people worldwide that is using Bitcoin because it is very complex for newbie to average persons and investors. It is not user friendly for me but I think one can learn it if he likes too.

yes i agree its kinda overwhelming at first for beginners specially introducing them to some exchangers and seeing those numbers normally makes their mind confused and creates a retreat impression but only those eager to learn will come to realize how user friendly it is when you get used to the environment

I don't think its difficult to use bitcoin but keeping everything secure can be challenging for a new user. Its easy to be fooled by phishing sites and fall for social engineering scams. That is why a large percentage of the population is still better off using banks and credit cards, they can recover stolen money still.

bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies are now very friendly with users, they provide GUI-based services that are very easy for people to do either in transactions or otherwise.

All of the areas will be improved. The UX/UI will be better and better. I personaly think that to use of bitcoin is not complicated even children 7 - 10 years old can use it without confusion. But I think it will be more simple and look more beautiful. Many project that build apps that provide ease of transaction to bitcoin users.

Well as for me, it is very user-friendly, I really find it very easy to make transaction through bitcoin. Just learn the basics and your good to go. Besides, with todays advancement, the technology has improved a lot and with those improvements it made it more user-friendly and convenient.

here in Bitcoin there will be a lot of technical formats in wallets depending on the address you use. In general, using it as a simply digital money is quite user friendly, but understanding on its functions is quite complex.
Thats it . we should only use our bitcoin/crypto the way they meant to be and that is for a payment use . learning the deeper technical aspects of cryptos is not really a requirement if your only an average joe that dont have a background on i.t or computer science .

Everyone who wants to study cryptocurrencies must be prepared to accept all risks. when I can confirm this, we just need to learn how cryptocurrencies work and in my opinion it is very easy. Anyone who can access the internet can be sure they can all use cryptocurrencies.

IMO friendly in a broad context.

For me it is user friendly too. It’s very feature is making it user-friendly, easy to adopt, easy to use depending on what kind or cryptocurrency though it takes more time transacting with bitcoin but still the fact that it is decentralized and not owned by any entity make it user-friendly though there are some regulations like KYC imposed to some but for me with cryptocurrency there is freedom and it makes it very user-friendly

Cryptocurrency is user friendly and at that any one with the experience of how to use the smart phone or computer with an internet connection can carry out transactions on the blockchain it easy fast and reliable to use. A y one with just little knowledge even with out technical experience can use bitcoin.
We already know that the progress that has been made at this time, is indeed true with what you say is clear that crypto is indeed very user friendly and does not require special skills as long as there is an intention to know and learn certainly will not be difficult. All clearly know, what is certain is that bitcoin will benefit those who invest in it, and many will benefit if you want to study.

Yes, bitcoin/cryptocurrency is user-friendly. People don't have to feel that it is too complicated to learn. All they need to do is how to make a transaction inside the wallet, learn how to buy and sell bitcoin or other coins. They don't have to learn deeper in the bitcoin section or altcoin because that will need more information to learn those things. It is enough if they only want to learn about how to use bitcoin/cryptocurrency, and they will know that it is easy to use it in their daily life. The important is they need to have a passion for learning because that will lead them to learn more about bitcoin/cryptocurrency.

Maybe at first, dealing with bitcoin or any other alts is too complex for a beginner. But once they engaged themselves in learning how to handle crypto, I bet they will say that it's an easy peasy task. We all had the same experience of hardship of understanding crypto when we were starting. Everybody starts from somewhere. It is not the case that we already know crypto when we jumped in. So for me, bitcoin/crypto is user-friendly, just give a lil bit of effort of understanding it.

Of course, there are, do you understand that our websites still working on many years old concept called MVC. we are still just making our more cool content managment systems(cms) only. we need to break through the shell and make something more advanced. Maybe Bitcoin developers can do something we are in a new branch of development which is completely new to the world and a lot of eyes are watching us and our development already.

I thought it to be user friendly since I saw it but I had been working with new technologies before learning about Bitcoin. For someone with no prior knowledge of internet security and very basic understanding of computers it's going to cause problems. It's normal that some people will never learn how to use it just like some people never learn how to drive a car or bake cakes.

What do you mean by asking whether Bitcoin is user friendly? are you referring to the way funds are sent or received on the Bitcoin platform or the wallets used in sending the Bitcoin whether they are user friendly? Bitcoin has always been user friendly and there are platforms that even provide more user friendly platforms to help users to easily send and receive Bitcoin...

Yeah I agree that it's far from being friendly to everyone because adoption doesn't takes place as of now. We're still on our way to implement digital currency towards digital age, which we were diverting traditional money into digital type of payment. If a person is being educated with the system which bitcoin had, probably they'll appreciate 100% for bitcoin.

Yeah, as time went by and by the projects developers kept on learning from the flaws of old devs and are increasingly building more easy to understand and use platforms. For instance, trading started without mobile apps until more recently that we got almost every exchange developing an app to help improve user convenience. So yeah you're right, time has really done us good.

It's user friendly if you use third party services to guide you. For an example: exchanges. Choose a local trustful exchange to deal with bitcoins. They will have an user friendly intuitive platform in your own language, and if it's not enough for you yet, there will be an online support to answer your questions. What isn't user friendly are the price fluctuations on the market, it will probably scare you at the beginning, but everything scares a little at the beginning, right?

Well it depends on how you use crypto. If you are just using it as a currency for trading with goods or physical items yes it is very userfriendly especially if you are trading with a user on a different side of the Earth. You will just send your crypto within minutes they will received it and then theyll send you the item.

I think it's hard for the non technical people to understand cryptocurrency at first but when they do learn about it it will be easy to use and is user friendly. Especially on the number side like conversion of btc to eth to fiat etc, but its easy because we can google it and we can know the conversion instantly.

For me and for others, its not user friendly and what I mean user friendly is it is not that easy to understand. Bitcoin is complex for me because of its coding that only a professional programmer or a cryptographer can understand and edit. For us newbie and average people who doesn't know programming, it will be complex.
Now in terms of usage, maybe it is easy for some here because you will just scan the QR code and put the amount and you're done but for those people who doesn't have smartphone it will be hard for them.

I think Bitcoin/Cryptocurrency especially the many Altcoins in the market right now are available on a wide range of exchanges and it's pretty easy to get on those exchanges to trade - you can get a digital wallet to store your coins on many sites, including on exchanges and more importantly, there have been a lot of upcoming blockchain projects that offer their own digital wallets as well. Additionally, there are new crypto projects and their corresponding tokens appearing every day - and these projects offer to solve a problem seen in for example, traditional payment processes, or for users like us to bypass intermediaries and gain access to a product or service directly without paying extra fees. In general I think once you get past the initial stage of trying to figure out how to trade with Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, and also gain more insight into the many projects and their tokens, it becomes much easier! The only downside to it is depositing and withdrawing fiat from the cryptocurrency you have - but I've also seen great projects that provide debit cards along with their wallets so you can actually directly convert and use the crypto you have at physical stores to pay for items, so if you're talking about user friendly in this sense, that it's definitely becoming more user friendly!

I am not concern about UI/UX even in the past will be in the future . I am more concern about bitcoin Offchain transaction or segwit implementation so that it will be more user friendly to use it in normal life . For ethereum POS implementation to speed up transction speed and limit maximum supply .

The situation has changed a lot with time but still there are areas of improvement, some of the countries are still struggling to find legit companies to purchase bitcoin with ease mainly because of lack of regulation and the banking sector is not that friendly in most of the countries and when that situation changes, there will be a massive adoption. A legit company with a global P2P network would be a great idea to solve these issues as that company will act as a trusted escrow to safe guard and monitor everything.

There is already a lot of innovation on cryptocurrency especially on Bitcoin, especially we are on the generation of the mobile device. Being user-friendly in cryptocurrency is really common now, especially most of the people now are using their mobile devices, much easier to operate compared to desktop computers or laptops. If being user-friendly is the problem, there's a lot of alternatives, for example, if they don't want mobile devices to buy some bitcoins because it's too small or not responsive (if in website), they can use their laptops to use cryptocurrency.

for beginners bitcoin is not user friendly, why do I say that, because at the beginning of knowing bitcoin I did not understand how to buy and use a wallet. maybe I'm stupid, I have to ask friends and use the search engine to understand how bitcoin and blockchain work. takes time to understand, because I will not risk losing money because of my lack of understanding. as a beginner it's natural if I don't want to take risks and the many issues of scam make beginners more careful.

As you have said, a long time ago UX/UI in Linux was a problem "to adopt" this operating system. Nowadays any user can use the vast majority of distros. I think it will happen the same with Bitcoin and sure we don't have to wait so much time as it has needed to improve UX/UI at Linux. What do you think?

With more new applications that were getting developed it is possible to make cryptocurrency and bitcoin user friendly to all levels of people. With beginners too it isn't that difficult, because if they make a transaction once they'll get to know good about it. Further on using bitcoin for few times they'll more comfortable using it further.

Many application, releases, and "user-friendly" tool are being integrated, but it's not enough, really not enough to make crypto accessible to housekeepers. Even news doesn't help to absolutely non-technical "housekeepers" who could get involved with 1 click, no more, and absolute guarantee of safety. But do we need that friendliness? Crypto is a thing invented mainly for future generations, fresh people with digital blood, and they will have no problem with installing their wallets or keeping private keys away from prying eyes.

True, if you ask questions about UI / UX, then everyone's answers will be relative. Maybe for someone who understands bitcoin for a long time, this is easy but not for a newcomer, maybe like math. Sure enough, that convenience depends on the wallet of each coin. In my opinion, in terms of UX, there are still many who do not meet the criteria. But I am sure that in the future it will be more developed.

I find bitcoin stupidly easy to use but I do have a slight technical background growing up. The biggest thing for newbies is not falling for scams. A lot of people fell for those recent electrum update messages that were fake. I'll admit, those were convincing to me as well but I went and checked on the forum if they were legit or not.

I'm curious to know what the community thinks in terms of how user friendly entering this market is? I know we've come a long way from the days when UX/UI was extremely poor for most companies but are there other areas that require improvement?
As for me, the major turn off is the ewallet management. I'm not a trader, so I use a Nano L., and having to manually klick the two buttons on the little bug in order to enter the right code ... Then there are the Ledgers updates. How to do them without wiping out everything... The seed words. Where do I hide them etc.

Well it depends on how you use crypto. If you are just using it as a currency for trading with goods or physical items yes it is very userfriendly especially if you are trading with a user on a different side of the Earth. You will just send your crypto within minutes they will received it and then theyll send you the item.
I agree. Crypto is user-friendly because it is easy to transfer everywhere of the world but this is anonymous which can hide your identity. It is friendly because we can used it anytime wherever we are as long as the place is nit remote area and have internet connection.

While Bitcoin and other crypto is not YET totally user friendly (e.g. managing own wallet, no support if it's lost,, use of long priv keys, etc), the crypto currency as a whole indeed SOLVES A LOT of problems in the financial world that why we see it's value increase from $0.003 to ATH of $20,000 in just 10 years.
We'll see more adoption and more innovative projects that will make crypto more mainstream in the years to come.

I think not all of the people will agree. I remember reading a thread here saying that Bitcoin is money for nerd and that makes me wonder that it might be hard for some people to understand or use it. There are times we need some programming skills to transact them but if there is a user-friendly exchange where you can do that, I don't think it will be a problem. I think there are people, certain people that don't understand Bitcoin that quickly.

In some cases, yes and in many cases no... there are some incredible apps emerging out there but generally speaking it is not user-friendly by definition as the UX is foreign to what most people are used to. Bridges are being built however and education will only get better. It's only a matter of time! There are too many people behind BTC for it to not be built up and upon.

I suppose it depends on where you live, In my city and region, it is becoming more and more easy to trade and buy cryptos. We even have a local place where everyone can buy and sell cryptos up to 8000 Euros in cash.

Have you ever considered Facebook, Instagram and other all apps user-friendly? Because for me, they don't. They are so complex and only your determination to use it will help you to understand and be familiarize with it. Even the famous games in andriod and apps are not that easy to master but it's just a piece of cake for kids ages between 5 - 7 years old. So they are just technically the same as bitcoin and it won't be a problem I promise.

Cryptocurrency is definitely a user friend. It makes things easier and more convenient, if you really know how it works and how to deal with it. Problems just occur from the lack of knowledge about crypto. It still a lot of time, effort, and knowledge to appreciate the value of cryptocurrency

If I am to respond as a person who has been in crypto for quite some time I would say bitcoin is a the most user friendly cryptocurrency out there, from its wallet setting to its use as payment option when compared to other crypto. Nonetheless it might seem very difficult to understand for a newbie, but with a little explanation every newbie can fully understand the basic concept of bitcoin which is needed to enable them use bitcoin as a means of payment.

User friendly :- Allowing simple interface for users and providing them with fast customer care responses. Following up their needs and keeping their identities intact at the same time globally integrating them with people all around the world , instant transactions with lightning network and deep security with Segwit integrated ones. For added security you can add-ons plenty of things that are already there , it's amazing how you can click and download your own wallet in seconds .
It does seem user friendly doesn't it ?

Bitcoin is always user friendly. It's easily understood when you are been shown how it is done. It's super secured when you have your private keys and wallet with you. You can easily run your transaction without fear

The concept of crypto currency can feel a bit alienating at first, but it isn't too hard either. You can think of electronic money, such as when you use a debit card, and you wouldn't be too far off.
It may take longer to transact, but its safer. Also it is decentralized, doesn't depend on any government or institution, you are your own bank (like gold), unless you decide you'd rather let others safeguard your money (like a bank).
No one can manipulate this money, no government or bank may decide tomorrow that it has half purchasing power (by printing more). In fact it was already decided to be limited by code, which is unchangeable unless the majority decides to do so. Its not in the hands of few individuals.
Its value in fiat was chosen by the market, but it doesn't mean anything to bitcoin itself. Should the market someday decide to stabilize its price, it will keep going up simply because governments have chose inflation as their policy following the flawed thinking of the Chicago school of economy. If you think deflationary money is dangerous, study the Austrian school, especially full reserve banking to learn how it would work.
So Bitcoin its not just your regular electronic money, its electronic gold like money.

In theory, it is very convenient to use cryptocurrencies. You can transfer funds in seconds anywhere in the world. But this system of course requires further improvements. Inconvenient can still be called the fact that the use of cryptocurrency is accompanied by access to the Internet and there are some countries where the use of the Internet is not so common.

The very first time usage will be little complicated, further it will be felt very simple to use the same. These days there were more applications getting developed for the usage of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. This has made a change that even the users without much knowledge about the technology too can make use of bitcoin without any complications.

depends on the wallet. some apps are very easy, but don't have all features. electron is a great wallet, but hard for noobs to understand.
even when you recommend a simple mobile wallet, people are still scared if you start talking about private keys and backups. they are used to passivity, to pay a bank for this responsibility.

It depends where you do transactions. Those who have not enough knowledge on how it going to use may find it hard but if you study, it is easy. The problem is just the processing because sometimes it takes how many days to confirm the transactions.

Is just a give and take situation. If you know how to manage your bitcoins well and know how to use them properly, you will be more profitable and you will get fast and effiecient transactions with bitcoin. But if you just here for bitcoin believing it can give you the best life you want without exerting much effort, then bitcoin would never grant it to you.

Firstly, bitcoin is user friendly but the wallet in subject was electrum not electron and like you said wallet, app or platform people uses determine the ease of using bitcoin but the article with news some newbies read are misleading. However, I will never advise anyone to totally believe in mobile wallet or keep huge fund on it.

Actually this question will have a varied answer, and of course the answer is not always positive, bitcoin can be called unfriendly because it is difficult to use, use the internet and gadgets and etc, I think the use of bitcoin today for modern people like me is friendly, just need a lot repairs such as network transactions that are sometimes slow and expensive fee, fix that then it will more better

Cryptocurrency is opening all sort of possibilities. To stay user-friendly and to operate at a high position with consistency, it has created the cryptocurrency wallet and digital wallets. There are many digital currency wallets such as Gatethub, Coinbase, Bitcoin Core, which you can choose to check your scores. Blockchain technology and cryptocurrency are doing everything in their power to make transactions and online transfers convenient for people. But, still, there are many people who are not familiar with the concept of cryptocurrencies. It will take time, but I think soon fiat will be far behind the cryptocurrencies.

Not really, no.
There is a lot to learn, many choices for wallets or exchanges, and there are many things that can go wrong - which can cost you your BTC transaction, or even your whole wallet.
Have a look at the number of posts here saying something desperate like : "help, I lost my BTC and need help getting them back !" (if you stuff-up, your BTC are gone forever - almost NO chance of recovery.)
But it is getting better.

I believe that most problems for Bitcoin owners arise due to the lack of certain knowledge. I am sure that you simply can’t lose your cryptocurrency funds just like that, because always a person makes a certain mistake. I believe that the massive use of Bitcoin is still under the “big question” because our society is not yet ready for it.
Yes, every certain thing should be learned, ignorance on a certain thing is not an excuse to say negative accusations about bitcoin. Every knowledge and experiences can be acquired through other people, that's why we're here in the forum to discuss everything.

It is made to be user friendly. Bitcoin along with other Alternate Cryptocurrency was made to be understood to those who have less knowledge about Blockchain Technology. They create their platforms as simple as possible because lot of investors might come from people who have few knowledge about Crypto. Bitcoin was easy to understand when i first learned about it. It gave me different ideas about how versatile Cryptocurrency can be.

Bitcoin is harmless.
How people use Bitcoin is another thing.
People create bitcoin for income, business, to learn trading and others.
But other people use the bitcoin to scam and hook money from others.
As for other thing, Bitcoin also needs computer and other gadgets to be used and circulated, and this machines produces radiations.

As long as I know Bitcoin, I have never had difficulty using it. It's very user friendly btw. Because in its application (we as users) only sell / buy transactions and Bitcoin transactions between wallets. That is the basis of this Bitcoin. As long as we carefully write the wallet address, the Bitcoin that we send will be safe.

You are being a fool by saying this. Pay me and I'll keep your coins you can't by yourself, simple. That's what a bank actually is, a full reserve bank. And guess what, that has NOTHING to do with "cryptocurrency", it is you who decide who you give them to safeguard them, not the coins. Nobody is forcing you to keep your own wallet, you should, but that's besides the point. There is a lot of online wallets and exchanges you can trust your coins to, and hope they never disappear or go bankrupt, like banks do...

His point is not about totally on banks because the topic is not foccused on banks but its about the difficulty of using a bitcoin or a crypto . though he mention crypo similar to banks on his first sentence . Anyway . private key , phenomic phrase , seeds or other ways to open a wallet are only optional but most of the wallet and exchange mainly used traditional passwords or pin numbers which is understandable by anyone . so id say cryptos/btc are easy to use

That is why cryptocurrency is an alternative to the traditional bank, if we have people that do not understand it or think it is quite complicated, and then they can just stick with the use of their traditional banks, while those who would understand it can continue to make use of it. I would not even want it to be so easy for everyone right now, because it would quickly shift the attention of people to crypto, and then make them drop traditional banks suddenly which will still not be good because it would make the government system suddenly become irrelevant, but we need to gradually grow in it till government finds a way out to regulate, then we can talk of simplifying its technology, the system is still this complicated, hacker are hacking into it, not to talk of when it is simpler.

Well i think this varies from different individual, what Mr A may find user friendly may not necessary be so for Mr B, while most people find it very easy to understand the nitty-gritty of blockchain and the usage of crypto in general, others are struggling to understand the basics, there are a lot of little details one needs to take note of when using crypto, especially the non reversible aspect when doing any transactions, one wrong letter among your wallet address could result to loss of funds, if there is anything that need enhancement then i think that area should be looked upon.

For me, bitcoin or the crypto community is a user-friendly because anywhere and anytime you can access your wallet and any other crypto related if you have an internet connection. But entering this market is dangerous because you can lose your money but you can also gain more money.

As a relatively new user of BTC and Cryptocurrencies as a whole I think that it is user friendly, mainly because of the many options for web wallets and wallet applications that are being offered and improved every day. You don't need a whole lot of knowledge to execute transactions and most companies or sites that provide Cryptocurrency-payment methods are optimising their systems for the average user.

Just think of the transformation from normal keypad mobiles to the present smartphones. First people find it difficult to use, other than the people who are much associated with technology. When days passed things changed. As a measure even the one without basic learning uses a smartphone without flaw.
With cryptocurrencies too the same happens, people weren't aware of its existence. Further when they came to know about it they find it difficult to use. Later they'll get used to it, and finds it user friendly.

Bitcoin and blockchain technology is most user's friendly. With just a tap on your phone, you can trade, exchange digital to fiat and vice-versa and even get credit scores and other financial services without any hurdle.

I'm curious to know what the community thinks in terms of how user friendly entering this market is? I know we've come a long way from the days when UX/UI was extremely poor for most companies but are there other areas that require improvement?
Actually, when you are new in this environment you will probably be confused but when you do some research you will be somehow familiar. When you have already try to explore how bitcoin or cryptocurrency work you will start earning it. Just be familiar with the basics of crypto.

It might be complicated for other people, considering I was nearly get lost also the first time I enter this world, but thanks to a friend of mine who guided me and taught me the basics. My opinion about this is, the longer time you spend here in this forum and exploring other crypto related stuffs like Exchanges, hardware wallets, faucets (lol), so on and so forth, your awareness and knowledge about how this world function will improve in no time. The next time you knew, you'll realized that it is not that complex compare when you are finding a real job in the actual world, submitting a lot of stuffs for you to be hired.

Bitcoin/Cryptocurrency are user-friendly for sure, almost everyone these days use online banking, but back in earlier stages, people were asking questions if online banking is user-friendly, in 5 years no one will ask this question.

Undoubtedly, cryptocurrency gives very huge opportunities not only to computer users, but also to smartphone users. Very good opportunities today are provided by high technology, when with a single click of a button in a specific application, you can pay for any product in the store in real life and also in online services. But in this situation, the quality of the means of payment will depend on the technical characteristics of the cryptocurrency used, which will make it possible to confirm payments very quickly. If you pay for goods today in Bitcoin, then even 1 transaction confirmation on the blockchain you need to wait about half an hour. Apparently, it will be difficult to buy coffee at what minimum transaction speed of Bitcoin.

In my opinion at this time for bitcoin / cryptocurrency is quite user friendly. Especially for people who are always used internet technology, you can bet it's easier to understand. Now this is very easy if we want to buy, sell, trade, or investments. Just transactions in an increasingly large number of exchangers or wallets plus features which spoil its users. The development of technology is indeed very fast, so don't be surprised in the next few years it will be even easier to use bitcoin / cryptocurrency than today. Because there must be improvements that will continue done for the convenience of the users. For those who have difficulty with bitcoin / crypto, Because they not accustomed to using it. If you study hard and are often used it will be user friendly.

Bitcoin in itself is not an application. There are plenty of different wallets a user may download that support bitcoin, each with different platform capabilities. That is the good news—if you own Bitcoins. Make no mistake, cryptocurrency trading is risky, security-wise, even as cryptocurrency advocates promote Bitcoin as a safe way to buy and sell goods and services. That's primarily because the investor usually has total control over transactions, with no central authority.

I think the user-friendly thing that you are saying is that the exchange itself because it is the one you are using, I mean it is the one you are making your own trade and the bitcoin is just your attribute to do the task you want to do. Not only the exchange but the other software also like wallets, because there are some wallets that are not user-friendly because it is hard to use and sometimes the transactions are failed because of the UI. It is important to have that attribute in a software you are using to avoid confusion.

Let's it depends on the country on how friendly it is. Some countries are banning Bitcoin/cryptocurrency and some are adopting it. Most of the third-world country like the Philippines adopted cryptocurrency easily. With that, there's a company that handles Bitcoins (or what we call a wallet) and it let's you buy a lot of services and product using it. Its name is coins.ph. Because of coins, the accessibility is easier and better where you could say it is user friendly.

Yes, of course, This Bitcoin which is the mother of Cryptocurrency is very userfriendly, If you have concrete knowledge about the private keys and the basic concept regarding its security matter then it's really an easy way to use and get access to this platform. Not only use but also it's easy to send and receive your money, it's just like a fun process, You can give your payment also ina very comfortable way but you have to make sure about its backup, Your private key and contract should be stored both offline and online so that you can't miss in any way. I suggest you go and visit some youtube channel where you get basic information regarding this issue.

For ordinary users of cryptocurrencies, especially non-English speakers, using bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as a means of payment is still a significant challenge. The question is not only just to make a transaction. You also need to protect your cryptocurrency from possible attacks by cybercriminals and this also enters into the ability to use cryptocurrency. There are certain difficulties with the transfer of funds from one cryptocurrency to another. Sometimes for this you need to go to the exchange, register, undergo a KYC check. For young people who spend considerable time on the Internet, this can be simple. However, not everyone spends their free time on the Internet and not everyone has the opportunity to keep up with technological progress. For a significant part of the world's population, the use of cryptocurrency is still very difficult and if it is not simplified and, most importantly, safe, they will not use it.

As long as you've you have read the purpose of the cryptocurrency and how does it work then it will be easy to use or in another term user-friendly.
But some are seeing it as a scam-purposes since a lot of people using it create a fake investment program then they exit-scam after they accumulated a lot of bitcoin.

For me, cryptocurrency and Bitcoin is a friendly user. In exchange, you can do buy and sell in just one click (as long as you have a budget or token) In your wallet, it will take a short time and you will receive or send tokens/coins. There are so many ways to earn free cryptocurrency staying at home and use a computer.

Bitcoin is really problematic in many things let it be long transaction times or low speed or maybe high use of electricity for mining but one thing in which it is great is being user friendly. Bitcoin core has a great interface which makes transactions too easy. Pickup any private key wallet just a scan of qr code would do the work for you. I don't think there is any problem in a user friendly interface when it comes to bitcoin. I think for Non-english speakers whole internet is a challenge. Not to be biased but basically everything on web is in English so language barriers just can never end. With help of google translate you may use translation on exchanges to help you out.

I think it is user-friendly but it is not something you can use immediately. You must have some eagerness and you really want and willing to learn. It is user-friendly to those who have used the proper sources to learn. Well, I mean that is required to everyone before they engage to something, right?

Willingness will drove you to success, having a progress in learning is something that everyone should do. it is indeed user friendly, easy to use, to learn and to understand. but the thing is, you should continue to learn everyday, its only natural for everything you do, its part of every individual's growth.

ADopting and starting to use bitcoin was very easy for me and very exciting. I found it easier to use than a bank and safer. I felt like I was in control and I could do everything myself I did not have to rely on a third party for anything. For me, that was the reason I began using and supporting bitcoin.

actually bitcoin and cryptocurrency can be said to be friendly for people who have long adapted to bitcoin and other crytocurrency for those who already know a lot about the features in it and moreover know a lot of how the cryptocurrency feature works. Maybe for those who don't know much about the world of cryptocurrency then they will say bitcoin and cryptocurrency are not very friendly.

I don't know what exactly did you mean. Not everyone is okay with cryptocurrencies, not everyone can invest and take that risk. It's all about personal preferences. But, If you find a reliable, user-friendly exchange (like for example CoinDeal or Kraken), the process of buying/selling/trading could be definitely user-friendly.

Bitcoin and cryptocurrency is definitely user-friendly because bitcoin and other crypto is easy to use and easy to understand, but there are also terms that it is hard to explain to people who are new in bitcoin, that you need to show proof or evidences for them to understand on how bitcoin and cryptocurrency works.

I think BTC and cryptocurrencies as a whole, are fairly easy to use especially with the easy to understand wallet. But, to learn and fully understand them, it's a different story, and blockchain technology and how these currencies work takes a lot of time to fully understand how they work, which is not user-friendly.

I want to say that many Altcoins have no less convenient functionality in use than Bitcoin. In addition, Bitcoin is quite expensive to use, in a cryptocurrency environment, transactions on Bitcoin are quite expensive.
