He has given a perfectly logical explanation which makes alot more sense than the fairy tales some ppl seem to enjoy telling here.
Actually it doesn't. Self proclaimed crypto guru god elite can't secure his own wallet makes no sense at all. Makes you wonder what things he may "inadvertently" over looked at Crypto Ave. The only thing that makes sense is there is no legit reason he won't post the public address if this were a true story. ~BCX~ http://pastebin.com/DP6NTuvt

There is no motive. Any other month in 2013 would have made more sense. He would be insanely crazy to dump coins at such a low price when it was 30k satoshis only a few weeks earlier.
There's plenty of motives. Maybe he thought the coin was losing value and this was his chance. Maybe he'd been thinking about it for a while but didn't have a plausible cover story. Saying he didn't have motive is a very weak defence. Again, conjecture, but there are 101 reasons he might have decided to dump the coins.

Not sure what went on here. Another case of a 'privliged' individual personally benefiting from the rest of us. Integrity and the ability to be 'smart' about things are must have traits for any coin developer. When coins that are run honestly have low value at exchanges and questionable coins have high value it shows right out in the open.

No not me, But if you like we could see how well it deals with about 200 gbs if you want? ~BCX~ There's no need for that, I think we all know how well any website will handle 200 gbps and it wouldn't be good. Someone is attacking CryptoAve which is strange as it's a very new exchange with little volume and probably not many coins in there. Why would someone do that I wonder ? It's not a high value target.

Hmm, I have to LOL at that pastebin chat log. Baritus auditing his own code....that makes no sense. If it's php I can assure you it has a security flaw. There's a reason Realsolid in all his "assholiness" codes in C++ Maybe later today I will see if I can find the exploit and unlike Baritus, I will publish all the public address I burn CryptoAve for! ~BCX~ Just fucking do it and stop bellowing out hot air from your hands to your keyboard.

BCX your ignorance is astounding. When will you ever shutup and give everyone a break from your constant bitching, misery peddling and useless contribution to society?? Did something happen to you as a kid to be such a nasty asshat all the time? Please enlighten us. How is threatening to DDOS or hack CAve going to help our community?
- No coins were stolen in this limited CAve account breach. Security measures caught this and the site was brought down for changes. Unlike other exchanges like Gox for example
- The stolen DGC coins address is searchable in the DGC blockchain. Go find it yourself if your such genius and quit bitching.
- DGC remains one of the fairest if not the fairest launched alt coins with arguably the most services in development of any alt coins
- CryptoAve security will be further tightened with rewriting of the PHP parts in question.
Do you check your machine every time you login for keyloggers especially in a trusted "work" environment or lock your machine all the time? I don't and doubt many ppl do. Easy for a "trusted" colleague with physical access to install a keylogger on your machine.
Once again the bottom line is NO coins were stolen from CAve. Do us all a favour and take your trolling and FUD somewhere else. I'm betting this won't happen though you are too stupid to quit your trolling addiction right?

Who would use the same info or pw anywhere else anyway? And who even had coins on the exchange? Maybe a handful of people. If I read that conversation correctly, it was not clear yet what has happened exactly. So stop spreading FUD. Or continue, I don't even care. Do you even know you are giving DGC a lot of free publicity over a non-issue? Don't you know?! There is no such thing as bad publicity. Thank you, beloved troll!

BCX pulls some of the most valid points I have seen.
Barry, WTF man? I said this last week! If a dev gets robbed, and will not name names, or post the address, shit is stupid. Barrie.. please respond.. Your killing your coin and name. As I am an investor, and holder, I feel betrayed. Make this right. ALL your coins are dieing, as well as my investment.

Then you have seen nothing yet. If you knew what type of person BCX is, you would know he isn't to be trusted with shit. All he is known for is to make trouble and a great fuzz over little things. Then you patiently wait for him to ever pull through with one of his promises, and.... nothing ever happens. He just puts doubt out there and all you fools go running. The reason is that humans can't incredibly well resist fear, even if they consider themselves to be rational thinkers. Fear, doubt, and uncertainty is irrational. If you had taken a closer look around the Bitcointalk forums, you should know there are much worse things to fear about than your DGC investment. Things like https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=497289.0 and its repercussions for your entire alt and non-altcoin portfolio. You will need to do a bit of thinking for yourself there though.

You need to learn to read. No coins were lost and users are currently getting back their coins. The attack vector is what hasn't been figured out yet, therefore the exchange was closed as a precaution.
You know nothing. You just keep fishing in the dark. The question would be why? And what do you even care? Perhaps you are the attacker?!

Who would use the same info or pw anywhere else anyway?
The same kind of exchange owner that can't secure his own wallet. And who even had coins on the exchange? Maybe a handful of people. If I read that conversation correctly, it was not clear yet what has happened exactly.
Oh I know what happened and Baritus knows I know. Besides earlier you said definitley no coins were stolen, now it's uncertain ? ? ? There is no such thing as bad publicity.
Sure. There is absolutely no legit reason Baritus won't disclose the public address of the stolen wallet, none. He knows that if he publishes the address, those coins will never move without an almost instant post in the forum, that's why. He also knows his "theft" story would be debunked instantly. Here's some free advice, if you want to help Baritus and/or CryptoAve, I highly suggest you STFU. You're losing and losing badly. ~BCX~ Sadly I have to agree... Cryptoave shares for sale! PM me with offers! Baritus, as much as it kills me to say it... you fucked us. I believed in you, even sold it to investors. Now I look like a jackass. You cannot even fully explain the situation. Bad Move. I'll eat this loss and take care of the people that invested in me and chalk it up to bad moves, but sadly... I believed in you. YOU FUCKED ME.

You should as a group of investors pressure Baritus into disclosing the public address. I think it is crystal clear if he won't. ~BCX~ Yeah, I'm sure you would just love that.

Yes, absolutely I do lock my machine everytime and scan for keyloggers as well any malware twice a day. The reason Baritus closed the exchange was because his entire database was stolen. He basically authenticated the info earlier. Posting the address of the bullshit story of the 500,000 DGC is going to be the least of his issues and I understand now, why he isn't really concerned with that trivial piece of drama in light of the new information. One thing I know for sure, it sucks to be Baritus or have coins on CryptoAve. ~BCX~ I want proof, I want you to show me this "Stolen Database" if you show me the database and proof that coins were stolen from the exchange and that more than 9 accounts were compromised, I will stop supporting DGC forever! And for those who know who I am, that is a huge deal. Who would use the same info or pw anywhere else anyway?

Scrappy_D0, You need to learn 1 thing, and you need to learn it really fucking quick. The world of crypto-currencies (as of right now) is not a place to be bringing outside investors into. If you want to lose your friends along with all your "OMFG I MADE A TON ON DOGE CAUSE IM A GENIUS" Money, keep doing what you are doing. If you want to have REAL safe investments, take your cash out of BTC and put it inside your mattress. Otherwise shut the fuck up and take responsibility for bringing people into a "bad investment" as you call it. Don't go around blaming someone else! If you were really as smart as you think you are, you would have only put a portion into one currency and spread the rest around.

I agree with this 100%. I explain Crypto to some people but don't recommend they invest. I don't need people going around telling everyone I encouraged them to invest in something which could almost disappear overnight - this could happen to almost any alt in a short period of time. To me the alts are something to speculate on only with profits gained from initial BTC investments made long ago. There's no way I would take on investors and manage their holdings for them - that's just asking for trouble.
