As far as facebook is concerned, we all know it is one of the famous social apps all over the world and if any project from the world of crypto currencies joins hand with facebook, that coin is going to have enormous increase in number of investors and this will on the whole bring good effect on the world of crypto currencies.

Facebook's globalcoin helps with widespread and awareness among the common people who haven't known much about cryptocurrency. Almost each and everyone have a Facebook account, and when Facebook creates a globalcoin it easily reaches every single person. I have heard Facebook coin called with Libra, so far they still wait for allowing from united state country how to build Libra coin and sell to public, just few step when Libra open to public waiting when government of unite state want to allow of using Libra as investing for public, Libra can't be rival for bitcoin because no investor want to buy if Libra coin sell to public with higher than bitcoin price.

They had many leaks of personal data and sure you have heard about their communications with government. I quite dislike such approach. TON is another approach

I don't think Facebook's libra can get in fire against China's own cryptocurrency. China will empower its own currency usage, already it has got its own search engine and everything. This way they will stand to use their own cryptocurrency. As Facebook is an established business community surely this will be a tough competence.

I have heard this news on our national television, and this is probably the right news. Facebook will deploy it in 2020, I think it will have a very good impact on the market when opening a trend for the world's leading companies to enter the crypto market, from which more money will flow into this market.

Last three months after Facebook team will announce for listing Libra coin many institution disagree with Libra coin, United State government never give recommendation and allowed for Libra become legal coin for selling to investor, until today Libra coin never have new update information about will they listed coin on the public or not, maybe they have miss opportunity to create Libra coin at the future.

I am not pretty sure why OP says it is a GlobalCoin because for me, bitcoin is still the crypto that unites the world. And yes, it is true that facebook is widely used all over the world, but for me, it is not that promising as it is not decentralized. There's still a third party that will control how this coin will perform in the market. Because It is better for us to have freedom in financial aspect than our transactions being monitored and controlled by a third party.

I'm sure Libra coin will perform great, but it is still upon us how we will treat it when it is already in the market.

There are many speculations about facebook global-coin. Some people believe that it will overtake Btc which might be tough for this coin. Otherwise, it feels good to see that such a big company is entering the market. But recently I read a news article that shows the problems this coin is facing. Overall I believe this will have a positive impact on the crypto-market.
