I heard about it and they have over 100 personnel working on it, from what i read the white paper will be release on June 18 but its not final, facebook are being ask about it but no further comment have been given so it might not launch this year but surely they are preparing for there own crypto currency.

This is a shitcoin and it has no value. I don't know why we should buy this coins while facebook has stocks. Crypto and stocks at the same time?

If this is a shitcoin, it would not create a headline in the crypto news, just think about that.
It's better if we welcome them as they are embracing crypto, this is a good news for us and even if you and me will not buy this, I'm sure there's a lot of investors out there will see a positive thing for this coin, and will buy.

People just need to analyze things first before making utterances, I don’t know why people are so use to the annoying word shitcoins, and then use it for a project that has not even been tested before proving it wrong. How on earth can Facebook coin be a shitcoins with all the reputation that they have and the entire large user database that they control.

Out of the over a billion users that has been recorded to be Facebook users, 10 million adopter is more than enough to make use of the coin for whatever purpose it will be created for which I am sure will just be a stable coin for utility purpose as against the global coin people thinks.

Facebook coin can disrupt current cryptomarket but i dont think will disrupt on market cap value. It will increase people who want to invest because with more big company join, it will increase people confident to invest

In the beginning, what I heard was clear that the conception between the new one was made for a long time, but if it was seen from the game, it was actually the same between the two and it didn't even have anything to do with Facebook so we don't need to know everything that updates

I've got this ambivalent feeling about facebook launching a coin..

It'll probably turn out to be a very popular coin because the succes of Facebook - but a coin owned by a company smells bad.
If Facebook manages to make it feel comfortable for everyday human beings using the coin, they might surpas bitcoin in terms of marketcap - but who knows?

I've always thought that the big flaws in cryptocurrency is that its volatile, and no one really knows what it is (again "normal" people)
