I am done shopping crypto and have been HODLING for some time now. I preferred to put in my money couple of months ago when the market had been pretty much down and there was pessimism about crypto all around. That had been the best time to invest in crypto with almost nothing because the prices had been very down. I am running in surplus right now and I am enjoying a lot.  

That is the best moment to buy but many never do it because they are afraid, they think that they prefer to see a small recovery before buying but then when that happens they hesitate because they think it could be a bull trap, so by the time they decide to buy it is too late and instead of buying at the bottom they buy at the top, and right now we have a perfect example, the price of bitcoin is currently falling so all of those that bought recently are probably losing money, while those that bought a few months ago could sell now and double their capital with ease.

What you admonishing is not a happy trading since it is not base on a concrete strategy or research on why the said coin should be bought. Base on luck, they buyer of a coin that is pumped can make a return of zero in no time since the underlying factor which is making the coin grow is not known.

If the project is solid and team is focused then i think it is ok to buy the coin around ico prices and im sure there was huge opportunity to buy even great coins from last year of bears and now market seems to be recovering and majority of people have missed the bottom and still waiting to enter. The decision to invest into cryptocurrencies can sometimes be quite difficult looking at how volatile the crypto market is but one thing i have learnt in my old age is that the time to invest is actually the time you can afford to lose a money by investing into it and holding for as long as you can. well, for now I might not invest unless I really need the coin. right now, I hold enough coins. For whatever reason, I have to wait for the price to recover before making any investment, and maybe buy when I need it, even when the price drops.
