there not so much difference. most lottery winers  among poor people will get lower  prizes, comparable to what they spend on lotteries, and will be happy even their life is not going to change.  every win, even small is good.

I don't think it matters that much when you play the lottery, the chances of winning are so small, that even a rich person can't possibly buy enough tickets to get much greater odds.
Unless it's a very small scale lottery of course, but even then the person who just buys one ticket can win.

That's the whole point of the lottery really, getting a chance to win a massive amount of money for a very small wager.

A shockingly large people that win the lottery end up broke because they can't control their spending and they end back where they started.  Hope it doesn't happen to this guy but it is a very common occurence when poor people receive a windfall like this.

Haven't seen a news for a while but still this is a great news, besides more gamblers will take the opportunity to bet as they want to feel what the janitor is right now. It's just a common routine for us Pinoys, but still haven't they realized that it also takes time, effort and money before they win these pots? And majority of them doesn't win. So if ever these people have won doesn't give a penny to share then I think there's nothing wrong with that, in fact that money was indeed yours to be exact, you have wasted some of your life into it. So it wasn't necessary to give unless they're in bind and in need. You can feed the whole barangay for a day, and after that live your quiet life again. That should be enough.

Maybe he had spend much money on buying lottery tickets but what had happened on him was a very life changing.He was just very lucky to win such a big amount but i believe it does not happen to him overnight.It takes more money and time before he was able to win a jackpot.

Even if you spend so much money on just a short time, if luck doesn't suits you, you won't win, unless you buy all the lottery tickets, with that you have been so greedy that you made an investment over a lottery and make a sire winning even if its just a short amount of winnings.

If you'll gonna bet on all of the combination of numbers on the lottery, you'll have to spend millions and if the pot is also in million then you wont be getting more than you expect. Only if you were able to bet and memorize all of the combinations 😋😛

This was on the news this week on our local television. A man named Vito Halasan was won a 7M canadian dollars in a draw. He is already on late 50's and is currently working as a janitor and buy lottery tickets for the hope to have a better life. I dont think that this man is lucky but i consider him blessed. They say that gambling isnt the answer to poverty but this man becomes an exception knowing he deserved to won and i know its really for him.

In every rule, there is an exception but we also should not compare his life to us. The universe wants to make him win because of some particular reasons. If you devote your money and time with gambling, you will end up with a life completely opposite to him. Hardwork and dedication is really the key.

I am truly happy for the Janitor and I have picked some lessons from his stories.
1.Work hard even when you hope to make it someday from Gambling
   This young man was not jobless as some of the gamblers I see theses days who can gamble their major and
   only source of income. He was still doing menial jobs even though he had a dream for a better life
2. Keep on the faith and Never give up, from the story, that young man, kept on trying, playing and he was
    consistent because he had a goal he was after, he had a plan and a kind of life he needed to achieve
3.Dream Big, The janitor dreams of buying houses, cars and so many things he needed to do for his family.

Don't be fooled and think that just because you are a poor person and a hard worker you should deserve to win a lottery. There are literally tens of thousands of people that are in the exact situation as yours maybe even worse. Actually I think almost everyone that plays at lotteries are in a bad situation financially because that's the kind of persons that lotteries are targeting as their players. I agree that there are certain factors that could improve your chances at winning the lottery, like law of attraction but at the end its still all about luck.

Did you read my mind ? That is what im about to say but i see that you already posted it for me   ( lol )  but id like to add some of my opinion  . i know a couple of rich people that still bets on a lottery and they still go on a casino because they said that they want to earn more money . they want to get more wealthy and there are also poor people that are already contented with their lives and some just dont have a money to buy lottery tickets   .

What should we call these rich people that still want to gamble to become richer, are they greedy or just business minded. Maybe I should leave the question opened

I am sure that poor people, who are not gambling, simply don’t do it because they do not have money to afford lotteries not because they are contented. No man can ever be contented with poverty. I feel gambling is to make money, we only have to be careful in playing so that we don’t become too carried away or play without caution. It’s better to learn all the strategies needed to play and we will realize the money in gambling.

It will be a big curse if he’s unable to do something tangible with such amount of money. I can imagine all the years he had spent in abject poverty and this win coming through is meant to put an end not just to poverty in his entire lineage

I learnt something from this man, a change of story and status could happen to any gambler at any point in time, I am sure the man didn’t even expect he would win the lottery on that particular day. They have different purposes of playing gambling because the situations of them were different too. But not all poor people buy lottery because they know that the lottery will not work well for them and they know that to get rich, they need to hard work without stop. If we can feel enough of what we have and not use gambling as a solution to get money, then we will not think to get fast money from gambling because that is very difficult. I heard some months ago that a very young boy won lottery and it was a reasonable amount of money and the shocking part of the news was that it was he’s first of trying it, he was just on he was only one his way to an errand when he stopped by to try the lottey with the money for that errand and he won.
