I suggest to choose a coin with a large circulating value and also choose a coin which you can be used if the price falls for example a utility token which their coin have a purpose no matter its price. For now I suggest to buy Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin or Ripple but it's up really to you what coins you're interested just know the advantages and disadvantages and the type of investment you're going to do about it.

Don't just believe on us, just get some idea to us and do your own research.

You have to be specific about what you are looking for, that means if you are looking for long term or short term investment, if you are looking for short term investment i would highly suggest not considering any altcoins and just go and invest with bitcoin, but if you are looking for long terms than in my opinion i think you should consider Ethereum, i t might no be doing good right now but soon and with the upcoming futures it will surely grow and get back to the place that it once was, and also binance seems like a growing coin so you might also consider it.

Your Idea to get help to us is good but not means if all the coins given by others is good because when I get help also when Im newbie I looking for the coin who are majority because it means the coin who most give to me is popular so it potential. Tron will be a good choice for him, especially if he doesn't have big money to trade. We know that Tron still at a low price so he can buy a lot of amount of Tron and hold it until the price increases. Just go with the famous one's or those who are in the top list since you are still confused and couldn't choose,
It is better to stay to those who have already been trusted and would survive the market ,
I wouldn't suggest going to some small cap or low volume alts .
Go with ETH,DASH and LTC if you want you could also try other top listed crypto's.

 Investing in altcoins is risky... you really need to know what you are doing. I would have suggested investing in cheap coins with solid projects but something bad could still happen to them and no one would want to be blamed for giving wrong investment advice.
