At first I actually have in my mind on how LN works because its a little bit the same to coins.ph who mostly filipinos use bitcoin wallet. But it only works to coins.ph user to coins.ph user transact without broadcasting their transaction on blockchain, instant, and no transaction fee at all.

Actually, it's a little bit more complex You would be right if Bluewallet's and Loyce's nodes were connected to each other directly; meaning that they would have a channel in which both of them had some coins on their sides. In such a case, there would be no fees. However, you paid a really small fee. This means that your transaction has been routed by some node which is connected to both Loyce and BlueWallet or a much longer path was found.

Maybe I should start setting a minimum duration I'll get you a payment request a bit later.

You would be right if Bluewallet's and Loyce's nodes were connected to each other directly; meaning that they would have a channel in which both of them had some coins on their sides. In such a case, there would be no fees.

Actually, I sent from my Bluewallet to asu's Bluewallet, and since these are custodial, I'm not even sure why it asked a fee at all. Maybe it's part of their payment model (which is totally fine of course!).

So 0.3% is their "fixed" internal rate? I've had external transactions from Bluewallet without any fee. Weird, but I'm totally fine with these very small fees (especially since they must pay more to consolidate my on-chain deposit).

I didn't need KYC to exchange up to 100 euro per day, but I've only exchanged much smaller amounts. No other exchange allows me to buy just 1000 Dogecoin with Bitcoin Lightning
