As far as I can tell, the channels it should be routing by have enough capacity. So I'm not really sure what is broken.

I assume there's no (one!) channel with enough capacity in between nodes? LN payments can not (yet) be split over multiple channels, which means there must be a route for which all nodes have enough capacity.
That was the reason I gave up on Eclair for the time being, and I expect it to improve once LN grows.

I've opened a dozen channels with BTC 0.011 capacity with some ver big nodes and am unable to send 0.01 in one package, instead I've had to go down to 0.005 0.002 and even 0.001 just to send to coinplaza after having first started with attempts at 0.01 - which means I'm having to go to coinplaza and create smaller and smaller requests and cancel the larger requests.  All very time consuming.

I never tried such high amounts on LN, because even a small percentage fee will already be more than on-chain Bitcoin fees (the minimum of 1 sat/byte is enough as long as I'm not in a hurry). In Eclair the fee was at most 3%, in BlueWallet it's 0.3-1%. Even at 0.3%, it would be 3000 sats, which is 15 times more than I pay on-chain.
I do love LN to pay small orders (a few bucks each) though, those work great!

Whatever's wrong with the main net Eclair wallet seems to be happening with the test-net wallet too...

While I like the concept of the Lightning Network the three program's I've used have a long way to go before they are ready for mainstream use.

Funded from Wallet of Satoshi. I paid 2 sat fee. BlueWallet has a minimum LN fee of 0.3%, so this is cheaper.
For funding from on-chain to LN it's the other way around: BlueWallet doesn't charge a fee, but Wallet of Satoshi charges 0.3% for the conversion.

Would you be prepared to post a request for 0.0075 via the LN and once it's been paid I then post a LN request for that 0.0075 (you can nominate a fee either included, or paid separately).  I have ~ 0.0083 in a Blue LN wallet and want to send 0.0075 to an Eclair LN wallet with 0.025 inbound capacity.

I'm on for ~ another 90 minutes.

The only wallet I have that has enough incoming capacity is BlueWallet. There's not really a point in doing that, it'll just be an "internal" BlueWallet transaction that costs 0.3% in fees.
