What ever have a good side will definitely have a bad side. But all the same, don't base your living on participating in bounty campaigns alone. Get a work outside Cryptocurrency for a backup in case of black times.

 Like you say , bounty can be profitable if you meet a good project and the team are transparent and truthful in giving hunters their reward.

As for the bad side, the email i use for bounty is only for bounties  i cant use it for any important investment or Exchanges where my funds are.  we just need to be careful and play safe while we participate in bounties.

For newbies in the crypto business, you must Know this. make sure you never associate your exchange email with your bounty account.  make this a top priority. i advice hunters to have more than 3 gmail accounts.


The good side of bounties
1; you will definitely make lot of money campaigning for good projects.
2; you might even get rich on the long term if you are a holder of coins and able to detect good projects.

BAD SIDE.

1; whether you like it or now, your social media accounts will receive login threat(someone trying to login to your account from a different location)
2; hackers will also play with emails that was exposed while registering on bounties.

3; if your account is not secured properly, you will lose everything. even your wallet.

Hackers are everywhere all over the world, no country is a saint as far as hacking is concern, extra care is necessary in order not to fall victim of hackers.

If the project itself is intact, it will survive. Hunters dump the price, but why do not the devs give attention? Why do not they dedicate some of their earnings to bounty? If we know that, they also know it, and if they are still just watching, I do not think it is about hunters.

Other than the mentioned issue it is really hard to get good profit out of the bounty rewards. Also the legitimacy in the distribution were also not fair as the distribution is done by the authorities of the project while the campaign manager just make preparations of the participant list and the token allocation. Maybe someday the growth will happen or goes worth nothing, it is upto the growth of the project as well our luck to get an earning.

the good part of the bounty is I think when the project we are working on is in a good position and might get a profit. but the bad part is a scam project. This scam project is often a problem for bounty participants and results in no profit.

Everything has pros and cons. Bounties are profitable and useful as well as useless for the worthless projects. That's why its always important to read more and find out about the particular bounty you want to participate before anything.

for bad side aside from the issue of social media, the email that needs to be worried is Kyc, we know that some bounties always ask for kyc and even I see a crypto project who asks Kyc through the bounty manager intermediary and it makes me wonder why it needs to be done? I hope that the bounty manager does not abuse it because the data obtained reaches hundreds of participants. for account problems actually using 2FA is enough to overcome that it's just that the wallet is rather difficult because we might be phishing if we are not careful.

Bounty has all good site but only bad site for you, if you are new user of cryptocurrency. Scammers and hacker available, you don't even know you known person could be a scammer, good luck for new people.

Even if you are not new, you can still be vulnerable of scams since the majority of the bounty campaign now are scams or even if you will not be scam, you still cannot guarantee to yourself that you will be making good reward due to the market situation of the altcoins now where still not profitable.

The good side of bounty is getting a reasonable payment on the long term and be able to swap to fiat or other coins you like but the bad side is many ,long term waiting ,got cheat of your reward either from team or bounty mangers and the worst one is if the coin or token never get listed and they remain in your wallets forever

The bad side of bounties that I have personally come across is working and promoting a bounty project for months, waiting for distribution for another month or two and waiting for another month to get listed and later realizing tokens are were not worth more than $10. I considered it a waste of time because I was new into crypto by then. The good side is, promoting a well researched project and even forgetting you took part in that project and later realizing your tokens worth, I mean really worth $$$.

Of all the ills emanating for bounty hunting, the challenges of becoming a target for hackers who indulge in email scam and wallet phishing is more impact full because any careless move slip from you can truly put you in deep loss from hacking. The best decision to help prevent that is to secure all your accounts with 2fA.

The bad side that you say is actually not only felt by you, but by everyone including me personally. It really wastes our time when we have worked very long but what we get is not comparable. So from that in the future what we have to do might be to filter out good projects so that our work always has value.
