I think they did change their rates, they first had their rates in Bitcoin didn't they?
But yeah, the point is still the same, it's pretty much impossible to achieve the max. payout without spamming.
Yeah, according to their thread, their current rates for Heroes and Legendaries is $3 per 10 posts, with a max of 0.1 BTC weekly: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5110093.0.

As QS says, to hit maximum you would need 2667 posts. For a standard full time job of 40 hours a week, this means a post every 54 seconds for 40 hours. Even someone was posting for 14 hours a day, 7 days a week, they would still have to post every 2 minutes 12 seconds.

These numbers are utterly ridiculous. To suggest a user is able to open a thread, read the OP, read the replies, formulate and type a worthwhile and non-spammy reply (or preferably don't, if they have nothing constructive to add), and move on to the next thread, all in 2 minutes, let alone in less than 1 minute, is preposterous. To somehow claim that this isn't encouraging spam is equally preposterous.

Oh I know, at the current rates those calculations are correct, I just thought they had a slightly higher rate when they first launched their campaign.
I definitely remember their rate per 10 posts was also denominated in Bitcoin.

Is there any way to view the edit history of that page? Now I'm curious what changes have been made.
Waybackmachine hasn't saved it & Google cache has the most recent edit as well.

A while ago, I was actually thinking about joining their campaign as some sort of experiment, back when they still paid a maximum of 0.1 BTC per week (if I remember correctly).
Just to see if I could actually manage to make those 1000 posts required to get the max amount. Not sure if it was a 1000 exactly, but that's the number I vaguely remember.
Not by shitposting my way to 1000 mind you.
They are paying $0.3 per post for legendary members, and bitcoin is trading at roughly $8000/btc. In order to get 0.1 BTC you would need to make about 2667 posts.

This would be basically a full time job.

is there any Legendary member in this campaign? They can earn more from shitty ICO than in Stake.

I find in local board many complains to campaign management, very poor communications between manager and participants, also people talk that he counts all posts even posted in bounty threads. It is worst than Yobit campaign a few weeks ago.
Not sure if there is any posts from legendary member paid for because manager don't want to pst the public spreadhseet but I saw many hero and legendary were still wearing stake signature even if they can earn only shit from joining on it.

I know someone in who is in their campaign and there is a time when they mute the group chat according to a friend, participants can't voice out there opinions but they can pm Steve there's a report that they are going to kick out some people, this is to make the campaign compliant to the community's standard, unfortunately there's no mentioned of limiting the post or increasing the rate.

Absolutely.

[EXPERIMENT] Testing the Limits of Shitposting

You could probably crank it up to 80-100 posts per hour if you started jumping into megathreads and going really generic. That's $30/h for essentially non-stop work. It's equivalent to about a 5.5 hour (per day) work week.

Make a script to generate generic remarks about "the bitcoin" and you'll find your margins increasing more.

I messaged SteveStake when I created this thread asking him to comment, and pointing him to this thread. It seems he has responded by creating this thread soliciting reports of signature spammers.

I haven't been very active on this forum but have been receiving PM's the past month regarding the spam. Honestly we have failed to responsibly moderate this campaign and the result has been endless spam.

I just talked to the Stake team yesterday about shuttering the signature campaign. They will first begin today by removing all the low value posters, in a weeks time if there is not a drastic improvement I will see that the campaign is terminated.

Sorry for annoying everyone with this, we owe much of our success to this forum and we must do better.

Finally we heard something with responsibility to the forum.Better run the signature campaign with high quality poster rather than terminating it for low quality posts.

Merit alone doesn't decide a quality poster but most of the time it will be helpful to differentiate spammer and good poster.

I've got a thread in gambling discussion where most all of the replies are from participants of stake.
Nothing to prove here, just want to share that signature spamming is a thing in gambling discussion and I hope they've got removed or received a warning because the replies are non-sense.  Sad

I'm tired of seeing this  Undecided

The should really drop this, and not just them, any campaign.

This text is spammy.
This text is not spammy at all.

If I remember correctly Loycev has one of the shortest merited posts, a simple "NO", but that was all the user asking for help needed.

As much as this statement seems positive, I think the problem is in the campaign manager who run this signature campaign - and he obviously has problems with recognizing good and bad members, or quality and spam posts.

Stunna is also react first time when problem is detected, but in almost 4 months the situation has not changed for the better.

I forwarded this to Steve and the rest of the Stake team. Obviously there are some valid points highlighted here, there is no doubt that this is creating a huge amount of spam. Hopefully they can make some changes that the community finds agreeable.

I have no idea what the deal is with Stunna and Stake, is the former a co-owner or something? Regardless, unless she happens to be the actual campaign manager which seems unlikely, then that might be the only thing she can do(if she’s just a rep or something).

Obviously, they want to change something in this campaign. Here is a new thread with some statistics data https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5154153.0 and Steve asking feedback from the community. It is a good move.
someone remembers, Yobit signature ban it's over for a couple of days and if Yobit runs again his campaign, probably most of all from Stake will move to Yobit.

Next time, if Yobit applies same approach to run their campaign, I believe not only Yobit campaign will be banned permanently, but also some of their participants might have to face with serious punishments that they don't expect for. I don't offend the Yobit (despite they are shitty exchange, IMO) and their participants, but the forum should be kept as clean as possible. Spamming is the most terrible thing in the forum, back in 2017 and 2018, before merit system born; so after years of clearly positive effects from merit system to control spammers (at least prevent them move up in ranks), it's terrible to see such campaign like Yobit strongly motivates spammers woke up and spammed.

In light of the changes to the stake.com signature campaign, I have withdrawn my request to have stake.com signatures blacklisted, pending the success of the changes made by Stake.

I do think those listed in the OP should be reviewed for bans, for merit abuse and ban evasion as mentioned in the OP if this has not already been done.

Would you actually be able to do it full time? Sounds like an easy way to burnout after several days at most, and it would only be a matter of time before you would get banned. Your posts in that experiment aren't that bad actually (compared to an average stake.com/yobit sig-spam shitposter), but I bet your post quality would start suffering soon, to the point of getting eventually banned.

Signature space available for rent.
