Those Ethereum tokens are probably dependent on Bitcoin price than Ethereum. If Bitcoin goes down and ethereum price is stable, most tokens will likely go down too.
Most do not deserve to "surge" by the way,. Hope it remains that way.

For those who are complaining that altcoins is not surging well you guys overlook the fact that ETH should be on your watch
ETH owns erc20 all almost all altcoins still runs on erc20 ,what you don't remember is last bullrun when ETH hits 1000$plus that's when all altcoins surge is price , ETH is at 260$ now so don't expect any surge soon and pray that ETH returns to its glory day value and we will all smile.
The endless correlation between dominant coins and altcoins is not secret anymore to experienced investors. It is known fact that ETH price dictates whole Erc20 token market and price is totally depends on the movement of Ethereum. After the bull run of ETH price we can welcome back the altcoin season again. |

Cryptocurrency support Ethereum blockchain one way that could be right. Need some time to pump Bitcoin then altcoins could be pump in cryptocurrency.
That's the truth but there's still much time for us to wait and see the performance of this coin. Ethereum owns the key becasue most of these tokens are built on Ethereum ERC20 even though there's ongoing IEOs. Let hope that when the bull run come back, the entire altcoins will surge along side with Bitcoin. Ethereum still look promising.... |

In my opinion, if Erc20 is still used by all crypto users, maybe the ETH price will be successful again. With the rise in ETH prices, it has a profound effect on the altcoin and for now, ETH prices are stable enough to survive when the market is bleeding. This certainly can be the right moment to invest ETH as our asset, and of course just waiting for the time when ETH prices rise.

Ethereum doesn't really hold the "keys" but just opens the door for you on the first one, after that you open the doors yourself, it is just that first unlocking that they do.
I think the risks involved in this are far below the opportunities it creates, they are really trying to help the whole crypto community to build a whole new thing with their erc20 and all other methods so it could be done by everyone, making things easier so that not only the big players can have a piece of the pie but everyone could have it.

Just like bitcoin is having a huge influence on the market as a whole, I think ETH should be leading the same thread on other alternative coins. However, this is not so happening because there are other similar blockchain competing with ETH in the ecosystem. Unlike in late 2017/early 2018 when ETH has no prominent competitions. Still a surge in ETH price will likely favour some altcoins, but not all.

such a naive thing to say.
you seem to have forgotten that the only reason why ETH went that high in 2017 was because of the massive ICO hype that was going on. basically there were hundreds of new ICOs every month and in order for people to participate in them they were forced to buy ether which is why its price went up in first place.
today the ICO hype is dead and also the remaining small hype under different names (like IEO) is owned by other platforms and exchanges like Binance hat is forcing people to buy THEIR token to participate in them.
so there is no more reason for people to buy ether as much as they did in 2017 so there won't be any pump near as big as that one either.
on top of all that, a centralized coin like ethereum with lots of issues that has been pumped and dumped a lot of times is nearing its end of line because every coin like this has a certain cap for the number of times it can get pumped and when it reaches that cap, it becomes increasingly hard to pump it. and ethereum is near that cap.
Sounds like the next bullrun will not be from the HYPE like the last bullrun of 2017 so what do you think will bring back the surge on price for crypto world entirely? Cos I don't think IEO will be capable like ICO to bring surging to crypto market |

As you can see ETH is growing with BTC and if BTC price will rise than also ETH price will rise so ETH can reach the price of $300 in June.

Yes, the ethereum has lost the main source of pumping. But they continue to work on expanding their coin. yes that is right, ETH is the point of erc20 token.
altcoin with blockchain erc20 is almost all get drop and die and become scam project becuase ETH now in under price.
before ETH hit 1000$ and all erc20 token looking good to invest but now with rate ETH just 255$ how token erc20 can survive.

I can tell that ETH network is still the best compared to EOS and Tron. However, the reason why ETH made it to the 1,000 USD mark was because of the ICOs popped out and they were not few but they were a lot! Since the ICOs today are not booming, the ETH's future is at its higher risk of going low. For now, what I am looking forward to the secured token that will be more available soon.

I think you do not fully understand what you are talking about. Of course, the price of altcoins depends on ETH, but not a single shitcoin based on erc20 will grow with ETH. Many factors influence the price of altcoins, erc20 is just one of these factors.

The price of ETH and other altcoins is dependent on the price of BTC. If BTC goes on a bullrun, most likely ETH and other altcoins go too. Now, BTC increases, notice that ETH and some altcoins also increase. For some coins that were built on top of the Ethereum Blockchain, they're definitely dependent on ETH price.

My perspective on this price surge issue is that if a coin will go up in price, the coin itself must make some progress on its own even when the FOMO period is not at hand. Although during bullrun, some shit coins also surge in price in a very drastic manner. Therefore I don't really see Ethereum as the key to the price surge of the coins on ethereum network but the price surge will be on the development and progress of the coin itself. |

Let's think of the situation with the exchange gets worst, doesn't matter as long the projects sustained by ETH are successfully at some point they will grow the value of ETH, in conclusion ETH is a long term investigation.
