It is so sad that your ETH wallet has been hacked recently. I think your downloaded altcoin wallet has malware that hacked your private key. If you use any  safe antivirous, it would block that wallet from downloading. If i see my antivirous block or warn me for any wallet, i avoid that wallet basically any windows wallet is dangerous for PC. By the way, from now use Metamask by connecting your MEW and store your key or keystore file in a safe folder and use password for your pc.

Your wallet is prone to hack if you private Keys is used to log in to the wallet .I always suggests Trust wallet to my friends, ever since i have been using the wallet , i never had any problem related to hacks and those i recommend the wallet to also dont have any complaint. So many people are really falling victim of these fake wallets especially the mobile version of these wallets, I know some wallets that are just clone of the real ones and when you go on Google play, you could see the number of downloads they have add, now imagine what they would do to those people’s account.
