Libra the new crypto king

I am sure and believe everyone is very enthusiastic about Libra, many people have high hopes because this is a fantastic project owned by Facebook and of course will become a new king in the world of crypto currency.

Libra has yet to be announced but already declared the cryptoking
it is waporware at the moment , but maybe , just maybe
one of the reasons of the glorious bull run we are experiencing now
if it comes to life and facilitates the transition from the conventional fiat banking to crypto based payments
I would say , Libra , you are welcome
on the other hand , this is going to be one centralized pseudo cryptocurrency to challenge and substitute bitcoin globally

I also heard about this correct see but I don't have the complete confidence with that but it it will definitely play an important role in the future that is the only thing that I expected for investing otherwise there is no use with that if it was suddenly vanished from the Crypto field

what "crypto king" means?  probably libra will have the biggest market cap and will become the main gateway to bring new users to other crypto, yes. but it doesn't make it better than bitcoin. it's just a payment system owned by big corporations, private but not decentralized.

There has been a lot of hype over the Libra coin for some days now. Although I don't have any sentiment about the coin but I don't really see the need for this too much hype associated with the coin.

It is not even out yet and people are already shilling for it. I don't understand how a new stablecoin backed by the biggest privacy breacher in the world will be capable of becoming the king. There is literally no one that believes this aside from people who have missed their chances with bitcoin and want to get rich with Libra but now that its a stablecoin and it will not make you crazy rich because it is literally one to one ratio and will not make you any profit at all.

However, it could be the "king of stablecoins" which is still a big deal for it since its not even out yet and we are discussing it but that is not because Libra is awesome but more because our current stablecoins sucks and have no good backing by big companies so Libra with facebook could take that spot.

its not HYIP but hype these are too different things
and seems like Libra did create some shockwaves in the market
I can't explain the sudden 20% price raise in a matter of a week , there were no other major news
but they are going to get major flak from the financial institutions and I wonder if the project takes off at all
because it directly threatens dollar and the current bubble debt ridden system , less than bitcoin would since its just the same dollar but in an electronic form , but still

It's really about what you call a king. And if there's too much of them claiming the title for king, The importance of the word king would tarnish.
When it comes to cryptocurrency, I believe four things are to be considered to define a king. Price, number of transactions per day, numbers of people using (community), total marketcap.

You are correct. AT worst, this Libra coin will just act like a 'glorified' BitPay or Facebook 'PayPal'...but then again, even if that is all that comes from it,

 just think of all the fees from 1.5 Billion Facebook users! If even 10% of the world users use this Libra coin, Facebook will kill this and make mucho bucks!

If you add the 'data mining' of purchases and tracking on to the 'regular' kind of stuff that Facebook is already doing, well you get even more data and thus, even more, $$$ the deeper

and bigger the data dive into your privacy.

Lastly, Facebook 'eventually' intends to act as a bank and allow 'micro-loans' to start for 3rd world nations and eventually to full loans and or interest paying like a bank.

All the above is a bit more than completely going to go Facebook's way, with all the issues it has with data and privacy and being too large with talk of breaking it up.

But from Mark Zuckerberg's viewpoint even a 'broken up' Facebook with MOST of the above is going to make him much, much, I mean, MUCH richer. Even if he simply

has Facebook broken up into other companies that specialize in most of the above. Getting around the anti-trust stuff. He will still be in control on all those entities anyway.

Indeed, even modest success in the above, he is gonna just kill it. Anyway, my view. Also from someone who a long time ago gave up on any privacy of any kind on Facebook

or anyplace else. That war was lost a long time ago.

I don't really believe in the coins that were recently released because we don't have too many enthusiasts, and we learn from experience that not all new coins succeed in this cryptocurrency, even a lot of new coins that only last for a while, don't run out  have a good price or volume change, so I don't believe it fully

You say Libra will be the king of coins below Top 10 altcoins, but not to say that Libra will be king of crypto’s which will be impossible, no matter the new invention they are coming with, we already have too many crypto users for now, that are satisfied with whatever project they are part of or whatever investment they are into.

The only thing I can see that will give Facebook edge over some coins like ripple and others below BTC and ETH is if people see great opportunity for them to make money through investment, which they will first get the initial hype, lots of investors who would eventually dump the coin, but the good thing about Facebook project is that, their working product will endeavor not to get them to become shitcoins no matter the dumping.

I still believe to the bitcoin even they have new competitors will launch in 2020 name is libra my vote still in bitcoin.
But still not confirm what will happen in 2020 maybe they have bug chnages happen or still the same we need to wait to happen that but I hope all of the effects must be good in the crypto investors.  Many partners have libra and once it launch many company will want to partner too and that's so amazing and hope for the bitcoin also.

I guarantee 100% it will never be a crypto king. I really feel like it is so stupid that all the big guys are talking about Libra like it is great when it is not even out yet. Just hype like EOS. Potential is worthless in crypto world without true adoption and users. Just because you add a crypto to FB does not mean you transform users into adopters.

Facebook users are very numerous and I'm sure it will be the main community that will make this coin become king plus the collaboration of various companies behind it I think it's easy for Libra to be one of the favorite coins.
