Why do you gamble?

I gambled in the past for curiosity reasons. Not sure I was ever obsessed about winning.
I presently don't find most gambling attractive.
Maybe if I find something I am very interested in I could try looking for places to place bets on their future trends or something...

Have you ever considered the reason behind your gambling habit or in some cases addiction? Do you gamble for fun or do you gamble for potential profit?

Considering in this case is always my main reason when betting, because basically I gamble only for profit and with consideration made even though I play for profit, but I can play with money that can lose. So in this case I did not become stressed or even depressed because of loss, because I have a rule that would not exceed the capabilities of the available bankroll, when I bet in a day and have prepared funds for that day and then the result is a loss, then I can stop and will continue gambling the next day in the same way until I get a profit from the fund limit that day.

Gambling, in general, may give you the adrenaline rush that one is looking and expecting. It renders you this thrilling feeling of uncertainty with cash as primary tool at stake. In addition, you also have the opportunity to receive huge amounts of winnings proportional to your bet/s. Lastly, people also gamble due to the perspective of seeing this as a way to answer their financial problems- which is the wrong way of settling your finances.

As for me, I bet due to curiosity (like what you mentioned). Since I do not fully grasp this respective field and I want to know more on the side of the gamblers, I primarily bet to satisfy this need for curiosity and answers.

I would have said I gamble to win but I have checked it very well and I have noticed that I don't just gamble to win because even if I win I still continue to gamble.

Mostly played only single-player games with no money involved. And boy am I glad. Last night I felt like doing some poker. I ended up playing till morning. If there was money involved I probably would have went home walking with no money left in my pocket.

In my case it was just out of boredom though I suppose there are also a lot of people motivated to earn, which is unfortunate since we all know that you can't beat it.

I believe it's only 10% who are gambling just for fun and the rest will have in their mind to win the jackpot. It is normal to think of it cause that's the reality, they spend a lot of time to please themselves might be ridiculous. I gamble because I wanted to enjoy much more about money as expected to doubled or tripled depending on your luck. Having fun with it is really awesome when there's enough amount of money to used as an investment, but without it I guess I wouldn't think of doing this kind of thing.
Gambling in reality has no assurance of winning all the time, but I tend to have fun despite of the disadvantages. Most important to know is always be a responsible gambler and don't get addicted to, learn how to have self limitations behind the fun that you're having with gambling.

im not really into gambling but if i do . i think im gambling for fun becuase im not expecting any return due to the fact that my bankroll is only small . its either my bankroll came from the gambling sites faucet or sometimes it came from my btc wallet ( if ever i have a spare btc )  . although there is still an urge of winning and possibly doubling my balance . win or loose i still accept on whatever the outcome  . whats more important to me is the experience  , the experience that i can  still play gambling no matter what  .

You can rephrase it like gambling is a way to risk extra money to get more profit from it. It may be possible your extra money in lost but then this is part of gambling. The best thing is to take risk in gambling with the money which even lost does not matter much ( but i sometimes feel there is no money which is lost and it does not matter.) It always matter when we lost the money.

^ This is what you want why do you gamble? It is just like chasing money which possible to turn you into addiction in gambling. Frankly speaking, gambling is not intended for me as a way of having quick money, I won't tolerate my self doing such a thing. But remember, you need to control yourself in the game because I have bad experiences in the games. We don't want to see ourselves losing all of the money because we want more winning. Yes, I agree with you that more fun to gamble in once in a week so we can have fun with our friends.

If you just gambled for an hour or just one day in a week, we can consider it but if we gambled almost every day it sounds like we are in addiction. I gamble for fun and at the same time at the back of my head I'm looking for a possibility that I can hit the jackpot, matured gambler gamble for fun but they should also hope to win the jackpot, so what if you hit the jackpot, it could be a life changing depending on the pot.
