Dear everybody!
For some reason I can't find my thread. It's called Cloud mining questions.Even if I check in my profile tabs. Also my posts were missing. When I try to visit my thread at the old link I get this message:
"The topic or board you are looking for appears to be either missing or off limits to you."
Also I can't find the thread trough the google search or local forum search feature
Give me some advice please, how can I find my thread

Allright! Thanks for everybody,especially@DdmrDdmr I was able to get both of the pages of my thread. If anybody interested to dabbling into cloud mining,I believe it's quite interesting for that person. I was reposted it here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=878387.0under the Cloud mining 101 (Ponzi assessment thread)

Well, that sucks. One mod moves it from beginners and help to mining and then the next dev deletes the topic. Is that anyway to treat a newbie asking a legitimate question and getting legitimate answers?

True. Moderator of Mining section is very strict. He usually deletes topics about cloud mining, things which were already discussed many times previously or generic questions. If you want to ask something simple about mining, Beginners and help is the best plce for it probably. If you want to discuss about specific cloud mining website you should do it in Marketplace Service Discussion. Cloud mining is also often discussed in Scam Accusations section.

Is that anyway to treat a newbie asking a legitimate question and getting legitimate answers. I don’t think it should have been moved to mining in the first place. I think the thread should have stayed in the beginner section as I believe it confirmed with the rules of this section. I have put in a request to have this thread moved to meta so the mods can look at the case and hopefully move it out if the trash can.

Go here: https://bitcointalk.org/?action=draftsFind the post you made and send me a pm of it... I'll answer your questions even if the mods don't like the thread...
The mining section is over moderated and the admins are busy doing other stuff and the mods just don't care...

Is that anyway to treat a newbie asking a legitimate question and getting legitimate answers. Mods are humans aswell, they can make a bad decition, or we may not agree with the one they made. But if you believe there has been some kind of error, when asked nicely, you can get an answer as to why they have taken that decition. As an example, just today I was talking to our local mod (franckuestein) about whether a thread about Poloniex recently stealing 12/6% of their BTC lendors to cover trading losses should go on the Altcoin services or Bitcoin services (I'm not sure we have yet reached any conclusion on the matter as of yet). But what I mean is that when in doubt, ask nicely, and you will get the answers you are looking for

Well, one thing that I can say about the Beginners and Help section. It seems a lot more palatable to read than it was the last time I checked it. The last time I checked it is when people were demoted to newbie because they didn't have even 1 merit. It was filled with people basically begging for merit. I'm not certain if the reason it is actually worth reading now is because the mod(s) for that job have done a good job keeping it clean or if I just picked a wrong time to start reading it in the past.

As a current Mod in a non-crypto related forum, I couldn't disagree more. The section I moderate there has relatively low traffic, so I'm "lucky" that I don't have to deal with tons of BS. Now, look at the size of Bitcointalk and think: how many BS has that mod deal with today? Yeah, they signed up for this, but they can get upset too. And when you mix being upset with your personal opinion on a topic, you may simply delete it without any further contempation

Again...newbie or not a valid question was asked and deleted. This not a mistake it's an incompetent Mod.

Well, I think the mod that moved the topic to mining was trying to be helpful and move the topic to where the newbie could get expert answers. Unfortunately, the mining board has rules, and this thread broke one of them. 6. All virtual mining - such as cloud mining, purchasing hashrate etc. is a service and NOT bitcoin mining. Discussion regarding cloud mining, contracts, hosting services, renting hashrate etc. belong in the economic services subforum and not the mining subsection.
