In my opinion, the dip in 2018 when the prices declined to $3,000 per coin came as a blessing. At that time, a lot of the non-serious investors sold their coins and made exit. Also, the market dominance of Bitcoin increased as the proportion of non-serious investors was higher with altcoins (especially Ethereum and Ripple). Another game-changing moment was the announcement of Libracoin. IMO, it will give cryptocurrencies some legitimacy even in those countries where it is banned currently.

I think most of the price pump is some form of manipulation. A look at market cycles clearly show that before every bull run, there is a pump then an even more massive correction. I think we're in a B-wave, only time will tell. A close look at the charts and you'll see price hasn't even tested the 21 MA since the beginning of the pump.

On June 21 2019, Bitcoin price reached a new peak, hitting $10,646 and firmly beating daily returns of almost all major cryptocurrencies. For the first time in 15 months

Bitcoin’s price surged above $10,000 on major cryptocurrency exchanges. The bitcoin price broke the $10K barrier at 7:35 pm Eastern Time.

I want to invest in bitcoin, it is too late?

Where do you think Bitcoin is heading next?
It is never too late to invest in bitcoin, even despite today's price. The real potential of Bitcoin remains to be seen. But apparently someone has already appreciated it.

It is not yet too late to buy bitcoin especially if you can see were is going to! Bitcoin is heading towards $65,000 to $100,000 if all the technical and functional issue is sorted out before halving by may next year. I also believe that the current pumping was a recovery from the last year bearish market and we should expect more good pricing in some days to come. Bitcoin is currently trading around $11,000 and that was the price many professionals investors were saying that is were Bitcoin should be by the end of the year but we are happy that we still have more time to gain more.

I want to invest in bitcoin, it is too late?

when the price was $ 3300 many people said that it was not a good time to buy because the price could fall to $1000. constantly on the news channels about bitcoin talked about the background, were things like:

the bottom is $2000; the bottom is $1000; But the price has risen to $5000. And when the price was in the  $5000. people said that it would fall again to $3000 because it had not reached the bottom

For many months the main subject was: "where is the bottom?"

see that no one hit where the bottom was, nobody was right that the price would not fall below $5000

you should always think for yourself in this market, no matter how much you see things like:

Crypto Analyst Says Bitcoin Price Could Hit $100,000 During Next Bull Run

think for yourself

Where do you think Bitcoin is heading next?

for now $12000, but I see that it is possible that we end the year with the price of $17000

there is no pump since it is bitcoin not some altcoin to get pumped.
this rise however is the same bull run that started months ago when we broke out of $3k range and started this whole rally. and main reason for it like always is the increase of adoption.

I want to invest in bitcoin, it is too late?

no you don't, you just want to advertise your website, I bet you won't even read any of the replies Cheesy
Haha guess you were right about it OP just put this up to advertise his/her website .
But back to OP's question I think that Bitcoin are now trying to reach back $15K .
It feels like we are going to see another ATH next year if this would continue or even way more earlier maybe before this year ends.

I have the same question.
Since the Libra news it became so volatile.

Are they preparing all that bitcoin to buy the Libra coin?
Or is it just the same pump that happened last December 2017?

This questions are difficult to answer accurately. We just dont know where it is coming from since a lot of exchange are already out there. Better just prepare also for the worst.

Never too late to invest on bitcoin as long as you have enough patience to reap the profits but the prices increased many times from this year's beginning so you need to dice you can wait for the money which you wanted to make and the money you are investing is affordable for you.

And probably we can see another dip on 2022 based on the Bitcoin 4 year cycle by Bob Loukas.

@ OP if you wanted to acquire some Bitcoin and you do not want to wait that long (2022) then probably it is good to buy it now than wait for it to moon later.  There is no pump because Bitcoin is no shitcoin like lots of altcoin out there, its that we are already in a Bull Run and there are good news ahead (Bakkt Testing, ETF decision, reward havling).

I have the same question.

Bitcoin had been highly volatile ever since.

Are they preparing all that bitcoin to buy the Libra coin?

Why would investor invest on Libra Coin?  It is a stablecoin so we can see no price increase in here.  I also don't see buying Libra coin and getting a share on facebook company.  And as far as I know FB is looking for 100 company paying $10m each to fund their crowdfunding.  And I think BTC is not one of those payment option.

Libra won't be traded most likely on crypto exchanges. Its a stable coin. Most likely it will be pegged to the central bank currencies like USD or EUR or GBP or JPY.

Since its a stablecoin, you can't really invest in it. Because its value will never go up or down, since its a currency technically pegged to a national currency.

I think the Libra news however did start FOMO in Cryptos because Libra is based on Bitcoin somewhat and that is what the public is betting on now that it will increase in value. They assume that if Facebook is getting into Cryptos, eventually so will the entire world and people are buying Bitcoin.

what about those other stable coins like usdt tether , they are all being traded on an exchange  .

and why not ? what about other stable coins like usdt tether ? why do you think they are indemand and got alot of volume ? people buys them because stable coins saves the value of your cryptos away from unstableness of the market  .

the news is about libra coin so why they buy bitcoin ? they should have buy libra coin at the first place  .  libra coin is not based on facebook because its a stable coin .

game-changing moment was the announcement of Libracoin. IMO, it will give cryptocurrencies some legitimacy even in those countries where it is banned currently.
Even further it points out that Bitcoin is owned by us all where the facebook coins are controlled by a group of ultra rich.

I don't think that Libra has greatly play the market cause price inflation, bitcoin does but not with altcoins. We have this price jump because the demand is high and no one dump their coins this time.

Even further it points out that Bitcoin is owned by us all where the facebook coins are controlled by a group of ultra rich.
It might possible that Libracoin is a controlled coin but I don't think that it will be a competitive coin just like Bitcoin, BNB and ETH.
