Thank you for the info, telegram is so easily accessible and so easy for deleted accounts. Hidden conversations are also often by people to hide facts, hoping you're not caught in the trap of deception anymore.

Would be nice to know what the exactly the name is of that Gambling site.
And if they have some kind of Users here on Bitcointalk too ,
and we can ask about the things or if there is a proof of that , we can tagg them or create a Flag to the Account.

i think its useless to tag them because they can always create another group or site to scam people again and again  . its no use to warn people because there are still hard headed people that will risk even if they already the know that the group or the site is risky  . its thier fault and we cant do anything about it  . scams and frauds can be easily detected if you are a wise and smart person  ,  i have been in the space for along time but i never got scammed  .
Yea you have a point but then tagging them would make them feel a little bit threatened. Although this really doesn’t change a thing since there will always be people that would fall for scam irrespective of what they have seen or heard.

Even though the mentioned, the offer will still be tempting and greedy people will always want to give it a trial. I have also been gambling for a very long time and not one single fraud experience have I witnessed. It doesn’t mean that I don’t see them but I am far wiser than that. Most times I laugh reading messages on my telegram because their tactics are always very similar and can easily be noticed.

The guy is so fast to delete our conversation in telegram and block me, I think he's been doing this for a long time and already victimized people.

He will introduce himself as the owner of a gambling site [forgot the name of the gambling site also) he will invite you to invest in his gambling site and make you a winner of their dice game, the catch is you will divide the pot and send him 50% of the winning pot.

Sounds interesting, I asked him that he send me Bitcoin so I can deposit and do what he says, he told me that many people have already scammed him doing that, but when I ask him how old is the site, he told me that the gambling site is old and trusted one urging me to deposit now, but I told him I would fall to this because the site has no traffic when checking on Alexa..

If I made a deposit I'm pretty sure he will block me.

The guy blocked me I wish I  made a screenshot I was waiting for him to prove that the site is legit.

So beware there are so many scammers lurking there and this is one of their methods.

The most important part you have been missed it and that is Gambling Site Name, Unfortunately you forget it, but i a surprised on it that you remember it that once gambling site scam you and also you are advising us but you already missed it.
So i aware you, remember it next time, if any gambling sites try to scam you. Actually, we know that a lot of trust-able gambling sites are working in this forum, so you should come in this forum and play in these sites.

Yes this kind of tactic would really caught the attention of those who are greedy enough to gain profit without even hesitating.
But for us who are old enough to know those kind of tricks it wouldn't work anymore with us.
And besides people shouldn't really trust the people they meet on telegram I also encounter the same problem back then,
The scammer tried to scam me using an trusted bounty manager profile and name on telegram and asking to borrow some BTC or ETH because he is on a meeting or something.

I will be suspicious the first time he asked me.

Why would you even forget that site? The most unforgettable sites I know are the sites that I trusted and used to go and play, and the sites that are scams or not legitimate. If that happened to me, I will be asking the site and make a thread here to ask if that is a legitimate site or not, You can also ask other sites about it or maybe some friends you know.

I am very active in the bounty campaign and chatting some of my clients, I shift from one conversation to the other actually and has so many tabs opened because of my campaign, just got me interested when he told me I can make $1000 which is too good to be true I just realized that he blocked me and delete our conversation when I tried to get back on him.

Point is you should be aware of this, this scammer could come again with a new site same method.
All scammers are saying that we will instantly win unexpected amount. As of now, there are many senders at my telegram account saying that I won their tokens. I just need to paste their private keys and open their website. All of them are scammers. I never truste anyone of them since I know first of all that cryptocurrency as well as the social media embedded with it are full of scammers.

For me, this is not new. There are a lot of scammers out there keep sending a private message in telegram social media platform that can easily delete a conversation, change a name or either delete their name. They used a gambling site that pretending they have access and make you win when you are registering the site and made a deposit. Gambling sites that published here in the forum are trusted enough but when someone has given you a link that comes from private chat then you must be careful because maybe it has a malware that can lead you from hacking.

Thank you for the info, telegram is so easily accessible and so easy for deleted accounts. Hidden conversations are also often by people to hide facts, hoping you're not caught in the trap of deception anymore.
There’s so many scam accounts on telegram making advertisements and also someone will ask for the money, and your personal details so take yourself away from the scam. Gambling scam they’ll promise you profit but its not true, don’t attract on that.

That's why I don't trust in having private communication when it comes related to having of the fund.
We must sharpen our common sense here to avoid being scam by others greed people who only want to fool people.
That’s what we must do unless we are talking with the admins or we need to communicate to the specific person ,but let’s make sure we are the one who send PM first

That is why we need always to be careful to use telegram, and if necessary, we can set our account, so we don't have to receive any spam message from people who we don't know. We can try to protect our account to stay away from them, so we only chat with people we know.

There are many other ways the scammers will do to scam people, and they will use it to get a new target every day. If we cannot protect ourselves, then we could lose our money like other people. So whatever we did, make sure we can check who the person we chat and make sure that we can always be careful.

Thanks for sharing this mate though I have encountered something like this weeks ago but I didn’t take it seriously since I already knew it was scam, but bringing it up here is a big help for others specially those noob and greedy cryptonians that can be blinded by big offers of winning.

In our case lucky that we have already an idea of what this hackers intentions but others not so basically this must be spread to the community as well
This is no longer new at all. There are many multiple complains. What they do is to impersonate the admins and if anyone can actually fall victim f not careful because they n be so tricky with their ways.  Please bear in mind that not everyone that is being scammed is greedy. I think it’s important to correct that notion.

A good friend of mine was scammed some weeks back and according to him, it was really difficult to detect it was scam because it really looked very real. The simple ways aside not being greedy is to learn the tricks in detecting scammers account. There are so many of them around this period mainly because of the little rise in Bitcoin.

But we all knows money doesn't come easy but still people think they are only exception to this golden words. Cheesy

I was wondering whether did he invited you to joining his telegram channel or you were joining the particular telegram channel and start to make conversation and lately there was plenty of telegram users who attempts to scammed people through this such as announce new gambling sites or investments options and we have to more carefully to seeing it

Do not engage in offers on telegram specially if they dont have a thread in this forum, there are lots of projects operating only on telegram because they dont want to be exposed in this forum wherein lots of knowledgeable person will be the hindrance on their scam project to be successful. That is obviously a scam move everything that offers you on telegram most likely is a scam one a good gambling site wont do that because they will advertise in this forum.

Thank you for giving us a fair warning. I also got some message in my telegram, but I just totally ignore them. Being long in the game, and specially when the price of bitcoin is going up, lots of scammers will come up with every ways they think that they can scam people, but not me.

But for those newbies, let this be a lesson, "if it is too good to be true it probably isn't".
That’s true. Everyone wants to get rich from the latest bitcoin uptrend, so many new scammers, I see a lot of them also but being Familiar with stuffs like this I just ignore. No scammer would scam me of my hard earned Bitcoin, not in this very critical time.

Let them that have ears hear. Newbies, if the preposition is looking too good, run as far as you can, its scammers alert. I hope they get the message clear because I believe greed would still not allow them understand this but once the money is gone, they come back blabbing and putting blames on casino sites. I had a friend who lost a very huge amount of money to such similar incident. This is really rampart but avoidable for the wise.
It’s very unfortunate that people taking advantage of others simply because of money, last month I almost fell into this trap too, because I was so convinced and I believed it was a great deal. Thank God for a friend that made me realize quickly that any deal that looked too good to be true in this gambling industry is questionable, and should not be taken seriously.

The Best like you mentioned is still to try and be  playing with known sites and also do a proper verification before concluding on any deal with such site. This scammers are ready for business and their agenda is to wreck all gamblers but those who are smart will always escape this.

Please try to recall what's that casino so that we have the exact details if someone asks about it in the future, we can give certain opinion that everyone must be wary and can avoid it quickly.

It's a typical style of those scammers that they will try to convince you that you can earn decently by just doing nothing. But the favor always belongs to them while the money will come from you, don't deposit any amount and gamble only with reputable casinos.
The annoying part is when the OP has mentioned he cannot recall the name of the site. I think he is really not smart because even the scamming method is an outdated one and for a gambler that isn’t a newbie, I would have expected he would be smart enough to detect from the very beginning. I have a lot of these messages on my telegram that I do not even pay attention to. People who always end up victims are those that want quick and double money.

The best advice is always remaining with a familiar site. The scammer told him the site is an old site and has been existing for quite some years and yet not familiar, that enough should have given him green light.
It’s possible he cannot recall and that does not make him not smart. I can’t remember the number of casino sites that have scammed me and yet can’t remember them, sometimes we choose to let go and learn from the experience. Although from experience, there’s always an element of greed in any scam occurrence.

Its not like those who get scammed are not aware of familiar sites, but because this new sites offer good bonuses, they choose to stick with them and that’s always one major cause of scam. I believe no one would ever fall victim if scam anymore because everyone in one way or the have been scammed and have learnt from the mistake.

That's why I always ignore and report someone who is offering an investment to me by sending me a direct message first. If you are in crypto currency for a long time, it's not new for you since the actions of scammers will be easier for your to determine. Thus, in crypto I'm too allergic when someone whom I don't know talk to me about their business.

Indeed this incident is obviously a scam attempt, good thing op didnt bite the offer.

Its quite common nowadays to have such an offer which is too good to be true, and if you're not careful you might really end up as a victim of these scammers.

Its better not to entertain if someone approach you offering a huge earnings if you invest or something related, especially those who are asking for you to pay first.

it surely scammers won't succeed, we know already this kind of works and we are all aware that makes them fails.
OP did the best but how about the others? I'm afraid if they are caught by their offers. It possible those people who want to move their funds easily might fall into their trap.

When they ask me questions that is confidential to me, I immediately delete our conversation and ignore that stupid scammer.

The only investors who are getting attracted to these too good to be true profits are the newbies who don't see the risks as long as they can get profit which is wrong. If the profit is too high then its a red flag already.
