Doge coin havent some product or idea, I dont believe that some day it will be huge, I think it could be a great scam with good protection
Dogecoin seemed to be a scam for many people before, but it is not a scam at all. Most of the transactions with DOGE are made in real-time, not through the exchanges. Some experts guess that in the nearest years, DOGE can touch 1 dollar price. naturally, it will not happen in 2019-2020, but this is definitely a very good token for long-term investments. |

And that speculation won't last because when whales goes sell. The price will go down faster than how it went up. And that would be very very bad. |

Dogecoin was recently listed in Binance and this prompted some other top exchanges to.list Dogecoin as well, but all these listings didn't have much of an impact on Dogecoin price, there is just too much in circulation right now and I doubt Dogecoin would ever hit it's ATH ever again.

John McAfee usually makes tweets when bull run starts. So, how about this time? He kept silently for too long, and recent days he came back to tweet about crypto currencies. I think he might help some altcoins to take off with his coming tweets. Dogecoin listing on Binance has some fast effects with pumps (to over 40 satoshis), then dumped to where it started, around 28 - 29 satoshis. |

Most likely, we will not be able to see Dogecoin at the top of the cryptocurrency top. This cryptocurrency is very far behind the others in its functionality and popularization. And the statements of famous personalities looks like a bought PR.
It depends on which ranks you will consider as top of crypto currency. Dogecoin ranked in the top 20 on coinmarketcap.com for several times, so I think it should be called as top crypto currencies, due to its total marketcap, its volume, and its long history in crypto. |

I always laugh if someone listens to the predictions from Mcafee, he is only a popular person in 2017 because he has many partners or friends but in 2018 most of the projects he supported failed and caused investors to lose a lot of money ... I also read one an article about his prediction in 2018 (the price of bitcoin) but all of his predictions were wrong

It's the reality that doge has been made as a meme but luckily our meme coin has been faster than other known coins. I've using dogecoin for some of my transfers because it's faster and cheaper. But when I don't have dogecoin anymore I usually go back to the traditional payment method which I don't have to convert anymore and use bitcoin as normal transfer. I don't hate dogecoin and others will agree to me too. Dogecoin is such a good project and better than the new ones. |

And John McAfee has always been mentioning one altcoin after another every once in a while. Aside from Dogecoin, he has already promoted Docademic, Apollo, Electroneum, Tron, Factom, Burst, and several more others. I don't know if he has really looked deeply into their products but the impression to some people is that he's only tapped to cause some hype around the coin or at most pump. But it has not necessarily followed. This man is both colorful and whimsical but I am not sure if people really buy what he talks. |

In my opinion, McAfee is dead wrong for many reasons. First of all, Dogecoin is a hyper-inflated cryptocurrency with billions of coins circulating in supply. Second, it's highly inactive in development and innovation. Third, its transaction activity is very low compared with other popular cryptocurrencies on the market. All of these factors greatly limit Dogecoin's ability to rise in price exponentially within the future. Of course, it's good to be optimistic for any cryptocurrency. John McAfee is known to promote crypto in many ways in order to increase its adoption within the mainstream world. But, his predictions seem widely unrealistic. It seems nearly impossible for Dogecoin to reach the moon in the future. Perhaps, if another dev team or the community itself takes the effort to improve the cryptocurrency, then the situation would change. A reduced supply of coins, and new features is what Dogecoin needs in order to gain a boost in price across the crypto market (not to mention that it would need massive adoption within the mainstream world). On the bright side, Dogecoin has greater transactions volumes than Bitcoin Cash itself. Things aside, I believe that Dogecoin is a good cryptocurrency and several other people within crypto land have already noticed. Mr. McAfee is not the only person, as Elon Musk, and even Ethereum's Vitalik Buterin have expressed their positive thoughts towards Dogecoin. It shows that there's still interest from people in the mainstream world in supporting it for the long run. Despite being created as a meme cryptocurrency, it's started to become a serious cryptocurrency over the past years. As long as it's still being traded on the market, Dogecoin will survive for the foreseeable future. Nonetheless, crypto behaves in many bizarre ways. Some cryptocurrencies with no purpose in life, have increased in price within the short term. The same thing might happen with Dogecoin in the future, despite its abundance of circulating coins across the blockchain. Just my thoughts  |

I agreed that Dogecoin is a high inflationary coin, that somehow explains why Dogecoin has low price in BTC. However, it has real use cases, and has been widely accepted on so many platforms; that contributed to build up good popularity and very huge communities globally. Dogecoin, in reality, will be able to rise two- or three-fold from its today price. No one when it will rise like this, but it will do rise dramatically (two- or three-fold).
