^^ That is the point, its economy and a process of exchange.    Dont be sad about it, we need sellers, we need the price to go lower sometimes because this mixes it all up like a good cocktail drink.   It cannot just be one thing or the exchange of value between people does not occur and BTC is not operating properly as facilitating trade.   If it does none of that and everyone acts super smart never spending, then ironically BTC is really not worth even half as much.

I mined a Bitcoin just using a few graphics cards, problem was it cost me electricity to do it so I didnt keep the BTC expecting a giant rise.   Price when I first took a proper interest was about 100 and this was not considered too cheap.
It then was surprising in keeping this price as a base, everyone started noticing and it rose to about 10x eventually and then lost most of those gains but I believe it never came back to 100 and again we have the same now.    It fell tons but 3000 really wasnt that low at all

For $651~ you could of got yourself a shiny whole bitcoin on coinbase plus their $6.66 fee.
I wouldnt of mind paying this fee on top regardless.
Even if they were asking 10% of the purchase amount at the time which is probably more by now. Wink

A year latter you could buy it 3 times cheaper then this.

That’s alright because we are not sure about bitcoin years ago. Right now, we gain the confidence to hold and i know we are already Holding more. Lucky for me not to witness that price because for sure, i will also regret that. I still believe that 5 years from now the price of bitcoin will grow more, so if you don’t want to regret again start saving bitcoin.

Yes. You're right. In order not to make regrets again, we should start saving bitcoins now and then hold them even if it takes 5-10 years until we see such a huge price increase. Since we  cannot predict exactly what will be the next bitcoin price few years from now, so it's better to play safe by keep holding them.

We could have bought Bitcoin at that price in those days, but did we know at that time that Bitcoin would have a very high value like today, of course not.  And if everyone knew Bitcoin would be like now, it would be impossible for them to sell Bitcoin at a low price, they would flock to buy as much Bitcoin as possible and hold it to date.
Just like now, we might not know what happened to Bitcoin in the next 5 years whether we will regret not buying it now. Now I really believe in bitcoin, and I have bought some bitcoin last year when the price was low. And now I feel satisfied and not sorry for the decision I made. Maybe you can try it now, and wait in the next 2 years, I'm sure the price will be more than today.

Funny, but you have been part of this community for a long time now, so why didn’t you buy it then and keep? Things change, don’t expect them to remain the same as you have seen them. Maybe then you even had the opportunity, but you were thinking the price is too high and now you’re regretting why you didn’t it buy it. Maybe you still have the opportunity to do that now before the bull run (that’s if you haven’t). The only problem now is that I don’t think Bitcoin is ever going this far again, maybe it has reached the limit… But we shall, it’s all about taking the risk though.

no one thought that the price of bitcoin could be this expensive, when bitcoin still appeared for the first time there were still many who doubted that bitcoin and bitcoin were considered jokes, but they all underestimated bitcoin would be sorry for not buying bitcoin at a cheap price.

This is really something that is difficult to imagine today, 1BTC for less then $1  - and it was only 10 years ago. Somewhere deep in my mind I remember that I read about bitcoin in late 2010 or in 2011, in one of my country local forums - but I never decided to investigate what this is really about. Just few years after I see some posts about bitcoin, and then I just started to think seriously about it.

I am sure that in next 10 years (probably before) people will talk about how everything under $10k was cheap, in the same way that we were a few years ago, talking that everything under $1000 is cheap BTC, and we can buy 4 BTC more or less at that time for that amount of money.

I never had to though that I felt guilty because I have sold bitcoin at the lower price. I came to this field when bitcoin had a price more than $10.000 so I never thought that was the lower price and I can't bought it. However, it will be  interesting for those people who came and bought bitcoin below the price of $500. And never imagine for those people who still the bitcoin they had until this time, maybe there is someone who have 100 bitcoin or more on their wallet. But after all, I'll bet there is some people who have a strategy that will never sell bitcoin before its price touch $100.000 and above although its price come back to down again.

~
All the newbies panicking about buying at $13k a few days ago and already starting to sell at a loss could learn a valuable lesson here. What if in 5 years time your investment had gone up 20 times? Would you be angry at yourself for panicking and selling so soon?

^^Exactly this. Why can't people learn from the past?

First of, no one should invest in Bitcoin the money they may need in 5 upcoming years. If that condition is met, just do nothing during a bear market, don't check the charts even. When Bitcoin rises big time you will find out about it from your neighbor down the street who was never talking about Bitcoin before, because it will be on the news everywhere. If 5 years after the purchase the price of BTC will be still lower than that for which you bought, well, sell at loss and forget about it forever. But, analyzing all time Bitcoin charts, we can say that it is very likely that the price will be at least a bit higher.

l remember those old and gold days. l have sold BTC when BTC price under 1100$. Time was around 2013-2014. But people who were successful bought cheap and hold it till 2017 when prices bomb they succeeded. There was a lot of reason firstly, first one was l didn't have more money for investing. Now l can't make the same mistake.

Well this is gonna happen a lot of time, where we look back at a times where the price of bitcoin is cheaper, and we don't have to go back really far i mean in 2016 the price was at 400$ , which goes to show how much bitcoin has grown in just 3 years, i remember back than i was not that familiar with it so as soon as i got it i sold it no know that i could have made a fortune from it if i waited, i am sure that in few years when the price reachs like 100k we will look back on today and say remember when the price was at 10k.

People already somewhat did when the price touched $14k very recently. I saw how people were upset about not having bought at $10k while they had the chance. It also happened back in 2017 during the bull run.

I wonder though, how much liquidity was there available to you when you bought Bitcoin for less than a dollar? I'm inclined to say very little because of how there were way fewer coins mined at that point.

I have seen a few old videos where people were buying Bitcoin at ridiculously low prices and the sites only had like 100-200BTC in their reserves. In other words, buying 10k Bitcoin under a dollar a pop was very difficult.

BSV is not the real Bcash. Bcash is the real Bcash.

That's pretty much very possible because as what we have witnessed its growth over the past years. This system will definitely be much useful and a useful type of system. This was really the greatest technology that has made by humans which it opens a lot of opportunities including buying and selling.

For $651~ you could of got yourself a shiny whole bitcoin on coinbase plus their $6.66 fee.
I wouldnt of mind paying this fee on top regardless.
Even if they were asking 10% of the purchase amount at the time which is probably more by now. Wink
Ah, it is so wonderful to reminisce the good old days where btc is not yet too valuable and can easily reach. But I've also read some articles which can be considered more amazing than that — the fact the you can easily get 5 btc (more or less( from a faucet. Any whale out there who can prove it was true? Grin

Anyway, past is past. Since we can turn back time then we don't have any choice but to move on and accept that btc's price is now like a tower. I guess the best thibg we could do is to buy even more as long as we can so that we can earn more if someday the price became a skyscraper.
