Milan-Manchester Utd was the toughest draw of 1/8-finals and Manchester Utd managed to be victorious with a 1-0 score and have advanced to the quarter finals. But the match was a very competitive one though. Ibrahimovic bounced back three days ago finally after having tear in the abductor muscle for 16 days. And I would expect him to enter the game earlier than the 65th minute. Maybe things could have been different than this then, who knows. And it was really awesome to see Pogba scored the goal that has brought the quarter finals to his team right after 3 minutes he entered the game. It was really dramatic too that he scored a goal in an important game after getting injured and not being able to play for 10 matches.

And I'd like to share my predictions for the quarter finals draws:

Ajax - Slavia Prague
Manchester Utd - Villarreal
Arsenal - Granada
Roma - D. Zagreb

I'd also like to add that I was really shocked by Tottenham getting eliminated by D. Zagreb. I expected them to fight for the title as they are having a bad season in the EPL.

Good fixtures imo for the Quarter final, ManU - Grenada and Ajax - Roma seems a little more interesting.

There is still next season and Milan will return to play at UCL it is a great achievement for Milan. Anyway, losing and winning are commonplace so yes, Milan are still not good enough at this opportunity as I only realize both teams are improving this season but unfortunately, United can do better.

Of all the matches that have already played for me, the most unexpected result was Dynamo Zargeb - Tottenham. I could not even imagine that they could play like that. And all the rest were quite expected results. It would have been interesting to watch them in the future.

Believe me, but we (Croatians) were also not expecting this. But Dinamo has had sparks of success like this that lead to nowhere in the end. Too much turbulence in the club itself, constant leadership and coaching changes, and a constant player fluctuation may take its toll for Dinamo to be consistent on this.

Funny to hear that even crotians didn't expected something like this, hell I am pretty sure even Zagreb fans didn't expected this, and I can go one more level higher and say that many of the clubs personal (staff or players) didn't expected it neither. It looks as if this was just out of nowhere and it really does feel a bit weird but I still think it is quite possible for any team to beat any team and that is why I was happy to see this.

I am sure that after such a horrible year in premier league and a horrible year in europe, next year there will be a lot of changes in Spurs for sure. Wouldn't be shocked if they fire Mourinho and sell Kane and Son as well, they worth money now and if they keep playing the way they do, eventually those players will be too old and not worth any money whereas they will have nothing to show for it, might as well at least get money for it.

Yeah, I wasn't lucky on this as I wasn't also for the CL draws.    Anyway, I'm pretty sure about Arsenal and Manchester Utd will be advancing to the semi finals. But Ajax-Roma and D. Zagreb-Villarreal draws both are hard to predict. For Ajax-Roma, I feel closer to Roma will be making it. For D. Zagreb-Villarreal, I think it could be the end for D. Zagreb in this round despite eliminating Tottenham.

than Slavia Prague. Then Ajax vs Roma is the most interesting match, because both teams are good and I admit it is difficult to predict which team
will qualify for the next round. But I prefer Ajax who will qualify for the next round, seeing Ajax's game which is much more effective in attacking
and defending.

And lastly I also prefer Villarreal who are more favorites, even though Dinamo Zagreb surprisingly beat Tottenham. But maybe Dinamo Zagreb was

Underrated Slavia is solely due to the league they are coming from that is Czech Republic but then, they are champions there and with the level of bad play with EPL teams, I won't be so care free when playing against a contender like Slavia.

On the Ajax and AS Roma game, I can easily base my predictions in favour of Ajax. These guys are often about business when it comes to there games, they do there best upto the final whistle unlike the AS Roma team. I like the Italian side very much but, they could be unserious at times.

Manchester United surprised me to have won AC Milan yesterday. It was a thing of pride for Paul Pogba, to have scored the only winning goal.

I think that there is no intrigue in the Europa League. Manchester United and Arsenal will most likely play in the final, or Manchester United and Villarreal. I don't think a sensation is possible here, like Granada or Dynamo Zagreb.

All the the EPL clubs opponents are not strong enough to scale through to the semi-final except an upset is created this is a good opportunity for Arsenal to play in the next  season UCL if  they win the Europa cup while Man Utd had an easy draw  playing a less formidable club like Grenada a club that doesn't have any track records in all European competitions and It is quite interesting that 5  EPL clubs are in both UCL. and Europa league.

I agree with you. We shouldn't take it for granted that Villarreal can surely eliminate Dinamo Zagreb here. First of all as I said before, D. Zagreb achieved a huge success against Tottenham in the last round. They literally browbeated with their huge comeback and eliminating Tottenham. Villarreal's job will be really really hard and they shouldn't underestimate D. Zagreb if they really want to continue in the EL.

I don't think Man United will underestimate whoever the opponent is, and of course, they will also make an all-out effort to get through to the semifinals. This European league is one of the opportunities for Man United to be able to get a trophy, so they shouldn't waste that opportunity.
