anything that is good for the common people persuading them to get into crypto is bad for the central bankers... thus what happens is the central bankers bring out their donkey dick sucking minions to shit all over that idea to bring as much negative info as they can so that the idea fails before it ever takes flight.. thus this is what has happened to AuroraCoin.

reminds me of another smart guy by the name of Tom Ogle in the late 70's. 26 year old guy figured out a way to get over 100MPG in a big V8 powered car using gasoline vaporization. He was just sophisticated enough to get himself dead from a suspicious drug and alcohol overdose.. his invention never saw the light of day and was bought up and shelved by Shell Oil.

This is better than Television. I hope you go through with it.

There will be several large herds of Outflare V2 modded clients that will make CF completely useless to take out pools, all exchanges except Cryptsy and the main site as well as there will be several large hashnet deployments of the KGW TW that will utterly obliterate chain into many forks.
Could you please explain that. What is Outflare and CF?

Just go back to some basic principles.

Nobody on this board wants to give money out.

Just ask for a donation for any worthy project and you see hardly anyone donates, and that is for something that could improve the services for the very coin they are mining.

Everyone thinks something sounds like a good idea and yes that would be nice, you suggest we all put some funds  in for it and.... everyone vanishes.

People in general just do not help others.  I don't think that some really even get the simple principle this coin works upon.

If you want to give a bunch of strangers 200M dollars. Then you need to actually give them 200M dollars. You are not going to make money, you are going to give them  200M of YOUR dollars. Yes it will be in the form of your BTC but still that is the principle.

I'm not sure how many people are holding these aurora bags right now, but they will get a shit load heavier as the time draws closer.

Really though i WISH it was for real, and that it would actually succeed. That's why i do think you should not break their coin. I would like to see the experiment go to it's natural end.

I have no doubts he can terminate this coin at all, and the mere fact he can do this shows this coin is not ready for mass adoption by a country... like that would happen in one of the only countries to have banned BTC anyway.

However i think bcx should just hit it for an hour or so and do his test. Not obliterate it entirely. Let's see what happens at air drop. There is no way the dev can cash out that much anyway before we see the wallets moving. I know you have some pull at cryptsy so i'm sure they could halt the market if the wallets started emptying there before evidence of it being given out.

Same for the others, there will need to be some controls regarding the main holding wallets. Although perhaps this person is intendingn to give it out.

I just want to see what happens. I predict nobody will hold the bags and each individual at most gets a few bucks each.... less than 50 bucks each anyway at best. At worst it is a complete joke and they get 1 or 2 bucks each.

Wrong my friend!

The fact that the very talented Devs you have PM'ed have figured out "your" exploit just might succeed is because they strongly support the AUR initiative and went out of their way to actually figure some things out!

You on the other hand haven't produced anything but FUD around a so called exploit. Nowhere have you explained in one tiny detail what your plans are. Just empty shells, false accusations, twisted facts and assumptions and a lot of diversion from actual sensible answers given by people that actually DO something for the good.

It is after more than a week of actually taking you serious and going out of my way to decently and sensibly answer your "questions" that I have decided to humor myself in exposing you for the wet fart you are!

In that context, In no way am I official spokesman for AUR, just one of the more serious supporters of an initiative that in the end might actually be a landmark in the crypto landscape.

Cheers,

LTEX

LTEX, you might want to read up on BCX a little, because when he says he is going to make it rain.... it typically fucking pours.

This is really interesting.

Would it be too much of a hassle to keep some logs of the progression and deployment of the exploit?  I imagine it will be interesting to analyze the data from a successful stack-smash attack on webscale blockchain.

see the exchange ratio, I think auroracoin will die before reaching 5400 block!
so, this controversy is unnecessary.

The premined coins should be given to Iceland government, simple as that.

I figured out who these altcoin combatants are!!!

One of them is my 11 year old, under-appreciated, and constantly offended boy.

The other one is my cute, manipulative, and conniving 7 year old girl.

You can figure out which one is which!

Those who hold and those who are without property have ever formed distinct interests in society

Auroracoin down, Spaincoin up. Some people are dump as shit. What is next Crimeacoin?

Maybe you should switch the attack to Spaincoin.

The only good thing about this coin are the hilarious endorsement on the official website:

I think reality is setting in as even Nite69, described by LTEX as "very talented" stated that the exploit has a high likelihood of succeeding if KGW is rolled out at block 5400.

The Auroracoin dump begins.

Dropping from 0.032 to 0.013 in less than a couple of hours.

Soon you'll be in Maxcoin territory LOL

I'm not sure why you are posting this now. The difficulty is so screwed up that at the current rate at which blocks are being solved Auroracoin isn't going to reach 5400 for at least another 10 days.

Block 5400 is when Version 1.2.0.0 will implement a modded KGW in anattempt to mitigate TW. I will sandbox test it as soon as I get a copy and post results.

~BCX~

Quote from: balduro
Changes to the hard fork have been implemented. Still going with KGW, but narrowing windows on block timestamping.

Silence? I assume no news is good news for Aurora. Or am I wrong?
I assume I can rely on you telling honestly if the actions took to fix the vulnerability you pointed out work or do not work?

Although everyone here agree that BCX is an asshole, these kind of vulnerabilities are needed to be fixed and avoided
