I heard that over 85% of crypto from over a few years ago has went to 0.  Is that true or false?


Can someone give me a list of the popular coins that were pretty well known that has went to 0?  The only one i know of is bitconnect.  All the other coins, they might have dropped to pennies but what coins has went straight to 0.

I don't see a coins that went to zero value, but in terms of zero volume in the exchange, of course there is.
One of this coins can be found in Latoken which is VTM, XCT, GOT, what else and KNT.

It's true and it's many to mention. Most of the new altcoins listed since 2018 has drastically dropped especially those with high completion on heir platforms.

The uncertainty rules the crypto market, new projects should have a special form of working product for surviving in the bear market. New businesses go bankrupt in a year naturally, same can be applied to the crypto projects. If there is no feature on the product which can enchant the investors, holding that altcoin will not be profitable from my understanding.

About 90% of altcoin has died since 2018 until now. And it will continue to increase in the future. Altcoin is being created too much and it has no effect on our lives. That's why the 2019 altcoin season didn't start

All cryptocurrencies aside Bitcoin are altcoins and it is not true to say they do not have any usefulness to our lives. Is ETH not useful? Is Litecoin, Monero, Dash, Binance, EOS not useful. The answer is no because these coins are very useful to digital payment like Bitcoin.

Unworthy coins will only become garbage. This is one of the reasons that the investment has declined. Investor confidence begins to disappear as many projects have no selling value. This is due to the sharp decline in market prices. It has a negative impact on project development. Many projects are worth $0, this is certainly detrimental to many people. But do not give up because it will definitely return to succeed as in 2017.

Am sincerely surprised that the value of a token can drop to as far as zeros. This is quite amazing and shows that  cryptocurrency is truly very volatile. It reminds me of the need to be careful about the project or tokens purchased because the era of pump and dump scheme is gradually fading away.

It's 0 really obtainable or is it about dead projects? If its the later it's true for projects to go dead especially when it's identified as a scam or when the developers dump the project. Lots of such project was seen last ICOs boom where lots of persons created tokens that have no value or use did airdrop cashed out and left the project.

yes some have reached 0 $, it is unfortunate because in the past the project could reach ATH, which was quite large and even had very much volume, now otherwise some of the projects were back to basics can even be said to be a scam example that I remember is auctus token, you can check the comparison at 2018 with 2019;.

The business is for the serious minded and headed ones. if you fail to run a vigorous marketing campaigns that can sustain your business. you will definitely be forgotten. your token will be abandon. sorry for those ones that listed their product on exchanges with fake volumes. the rate at which the token will dump is inevitable.
No matter how project owners blames bounty hunters for market crash, it is obvious that some project owners are dubious and greedy that they killed their market first before distribution.

Almost all of the coins I acquired in 2017 have gone to zero price. These projects are basically dead now and their team nowhere to be found. The few good ones that dipped to zero price contacted investors and made refunds. Others have all gone with the wind despite many of them selling out during their ico

Just wanted to add that at some point if the value goes to $0 then its already dead and could probably be de-listed by exchanges at that time. No trading volumes, developers went silent etc. However, there could be five times more coins are born. Looks good at the beginning, a lot of hype around it. Then after six months to a year that coin is dead as well. What I'm trying to drive at is that in this business, it's cyclical and the pattern keeps repeating itself again and again. So if you wanted to survive long in this game, choose a good coin or if you know that you have profited already, then liquidate some and then you look for the next coins because their are thousands in line. No need to be a bag holder of shitcoins that will die in the future.

its to early to say 2019 no alt season because still 4month left. But about dead coins yes almost 90% died because they no development. Even so many project launch but if they dont have useful meaning it will dead and ended. Natural selection is coming

many of coins are getting listed at the last page of CMC are scam coins which no one uses or trade it or it was getting a pure zero value caused by there was a serious accusation or the team has known as scammer. But it looks like a lot of shitcoin with low trade volume and i can say a few digits of daily volume means if that coins have zero value too consider about a big spread can't be considered as a good indicator to trade.
A few coins were still worth almost zero are still being traded with almost no volume there.

That is true and with time more will follow suit. It's not that am ill fated or don't have faith in the crypto space, rather it's just the truth. There is a coin which I came across with last month and was able to find out the coin has been in existence for years but yet still holding up amidst all the downturn in the market. Further enquiry showed that the coin is not a whitepaper coin but a coin backed by real use case. This is just where most coins miss it and are left out thus dropping in value until they become worthless. Let's be mindful of what we buy and hold.

This is wrong, 85% altcoin didn't went to zero. You will find, which coin price was gone. Almost all coin price was 1000 percent dump, top coin price was down low than the out of 50-200 altcoin. Shitcoin are available and also listed exchange.

Perhaps you only know about bitconnect, because its a popular scam project that almost everyone knows of. I can boldly say that there are many not them and many that have scanned so many investors.
Some of then still exist, which will also one say run down to zero. CMC has an archive of them, but there is less concerns when it comes to them.

Most of these coins are because of its team who left the project maybe because they were affected of the bear market wherein they were able to raise large amount but the value decreased when the market fell and other than that they were legit but was affected for the same reason. Lastly, those scam project who made an exit after listing and dumping to the market.

Yes it's true most altcoins nowadays are just for pump and dump the developer will vanished and run away with peoples money. Aside from bitconnect that went $0 the next one will be athero, well it still have some price for today but eventually it will go down to $0 because the greedy developer already run long time ago and enjoying investors money.
