I like wolf DICE very much and dont see any problem with "hidden" nicks.  I always can reach top 20 easily every day, so I checked myself there is no fake users
I don’t understand what your statement is based on and how you could check if there are any real or fake users.

Only the site owner/admin can check whether they are real or fake users. Hidden username cant be used as a reason to ask about real or fake IMO as even if they do not hide the username then we still unable to check whether they are real or fake.
Indeed I wonder how could he check and verify that there is no fake users?
Anyway hidden username is used for privacy purpose only, so we should appreciate anyone who want to be anonymous as much as possible.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

His point is that he checks the top 20 every day and he is always among them, he himself set his account to be private so that it is hidden to others and only he knows his own position. If a gambling site is cheating with fake users, there is certainly no such person listed. Therefore he gives appreciation to wolf.bet.

But do not underestimate those who are expertly or professionally involved in this kind of thing. If you want to keep track of user stats between races (as that seems to be your point), this easily allows to find descriptive patterns which are a unique characteristic of any high-profile gambler. I don't think they are hiding their names for the fun of it, and still less would they want to reveal their gambling habits to a couple of prying eyes
What do you mean by descriptive patterns ?
Do you mean how the gamblers paly with odds or bet amounts? You are right. No successful gambler want their strategy to be revealed.
but I think people want to see only their profits and losses. It won't reveal something important about them.
(Everyone has the right to hide any thing from the profile and I don't say they shouldn't hide their profile.)
Even if you have a certain pattern it doesn't matter because people can't reach to you no matter what. I mean we are talking about literally a fake nickname over a fake nickname here, how could anyone reach to a person with a fake nickname over a fake nickname, you wouldn't be even allowed to pm anyone because it is a fake one.

It is really not our topic anymore, everyone said what they want to say and it is obvious, some people wants to keep the hidden hidden and some people want hidden to be not hidden in the sense that we get to follow who is in top 10 all the time even if it is abc, xyz type of fake random nicks given to people with already hidden nicks, so from now on its wolf.bets part to decide what they want to do, I guess they will keep hidden since it is easier that way.

Why are they hiding nicks at all? Many such platforms have all the information open to everyone.

I'm not sure what you mean by a "fake name"

If you mean that the site lists dummy accounts to stir up the competition in the race, I can't help you with that (anyway, this issue has been discussed before). Otherwise, it is certainly possible to trace these users unless they are hidden in the way they are, i.e. you can't get any information about them other than the amount they wagered

If you actually want to say that the site must disclose their stats to prove they are in fact real users, then I'm inclined to think that you are asking a bit too much. Really, if you were one of those big fish betting so much, would you be happy if the casino decided to tell the world everything about your activity just to prove a point here?

The topic here shouldn't be why people are hiding nicks, it should be is nicks enough for privacy? I mean you can literally create an account with a totally fake name that you haven't ever used and then deposit money, gamble, if you win withdraw (if you don't then skip this part, then never use that account again even delete it if possible.

So in the end, people don't even have to use multiple accounts (which is not allowed in many casinos, probably here too) just get a unique name that you normally don't use and you literally have a "hidden" name, it is not like we are getting your first name and last name that you need to hide from us, we are getting your nickname so it is totally useless to hide something that is already hiding you from whatever you are afraid of.

Admittedly, this is nowhere near enough

That's why you can hide your name and your stats by enabling the "hidden" option under the privacy settings. It is already there, so it goes well beyond just choosing a random, strange looking and totally unpronounceable username, security-wise. But some people consider it an overkill just because some other sites (reportedly) "have all the information open to everyone". Personally, I would undoubtedly stay away from such sites if I considered myself a top-brass in the pecking order of the gambling world

I wonder why are people so concern with hidden names? Honestly I really found it good that I can hide my username.  I do not know probably it is a paranoia.  I think some people have the same mindset too.  If they wanted to be known, they just disable this privacy option.  Let us just respect those who wanted more privacy.  It is their username after all.

Yep and sometimes you see some big hits of a hidden user and that user is then sharing his bet in chat ;-)

Another top 10 with just 2 names on the list and people still think that's fine. Well you might as well just remove the hidden ones out and show is the number one and number ten and be done with it? Why would we care about people who we have no idea and true that they made that much bet? Maybe its wolf.bet who created fake ones to make it look like they have gamblers who knows?

I honestly think that there should be some sort of system to make it both safe for the people who want to be hidden and also showcase the winners to people who want to watch. Otherwise, what is the purpose of casino showing top 10 but only 2 people are on the list, where are the other 8, if we can't see them then why are you trying to make it a marketing thing for us and post it here?

Here we go again

Well, if you ask me, I think it is totally fine. And not because I'm wearing their signature but rather because it can't be any other way as long as we consider ourselves a community which highly values and praises anonymity as well as privacy. You are just like the other guy over here who claims that casinos are cheating for the simple reason they can be cheating (despite all that "provably fair" stuff)

Regardless, if we were to follow your logic through, the casino could just create a dozen dummy accounts with their names in the leaderboard (and do that again and again for every daily race). Would that remove your doubts and suspicions? Unlikely, as I'm inclined to think (and technically, there are 4 names in the list)

I also prefer profiles to be public but the purpose is not that you know top gamblers. The purpose is that you know how much you should wager to win a prize when the contest is live.
Hidden profiles don't exist only in Wolf.bet. They exist in all of the gambling websites. For example, I know in the last contest of Windice there were 5 hidden profiles in top 10.

Why Roll Eyes are they hiding nicks at all? Many such platforms have all the information open to everyone.
WB aren't hiding anything, it is the choice of users themselves. They can choose whether to make their nickname and betting details public or to hide them.
And it is public by default.
If you have doubts that the results are being manipulated then knowing nicknames of top 10 players won't prove anything  Roll Eyes

I so love the rain but when I said thanks for it, it was deleted. I was told by the admit such post is not allowed.  Grin

My apologies for not knowing the mechanics behind the rain. Only recently had I learned that there is such a thing as rain farming.  Grin All along I was thinking everything about the rain is random.

I'll save my thanks for the real-life rain from now on.  Cheesy

But, it is not the "hidden" part that really bothers me, it is the way hidden is used, why can't it be anything other than "hidden" in the lists and from the looks, why can't it be "player23523" instead of "hidden", your real life username could be "Joe" or "Michael" or whatever and when you enable the hidden option you would look like "player235235" instead of just "hidden". Isn't that better for everyone involved?

The person who wants to be hidden is still hidden and the people who want to see who is on the list all the time still gets to see who is on the list all the time, everyone literally gets whatever they want in this situation. There is literally no other reason than ease of use for this, website can just make you "hidden" instead of my version and the coding of it is easier. That's it.

With this you are going to create a hidden paradox (pardon the pun)

If you added some meaningful mnemonic title or moniker to a player which was to stay with him between races (read, forever), that would undermine the whole idea behind hiding usernames, basically making it useless and futile. In that case you could just reveal to the public the "real" names of the players as the effect in the context of a casino would be the same. It would be as if those players had chosen their attributed names on their own right at the registration

I so love the rain but when I said thanks for it, it was deleted. I was told by the admit such post is not allowed.  Grin
It is just a bot that selects randomly from latest active users on chat. Saying thanks to a bot may be considered as spam.

My apologies for not knowing the mechanics behind the rain. Only recently had I learned that there is such a thing as rain farming.  Grin All along I was thinking everything about the rain is random.
It is random indeed. But since there are few active users, most of them get the bonus. Maybe it is about time to start banning spammers as their number is increasing each day.

I tried to find rain rules on the website. But I couldn't find anything. I visited both FAQ and terms and conditions. But there is nothing about the rain. Is there any link to details about the rain and how it works.
