This series will be very tough for Pakistan International test cricket team because they are doing decisions on the reference basis and now Iam thinking that Pak team will lose this series and credit will go to the management because they are selecting the third class team . I think there should be only players which are in excellent form but Pak selectors only want money and they only want more money and after the selection of merit team ,they will get nothing. Pak spinners will be flop on these wickets and Pak will lose and draw these test matches and I know West Indies is not quality team but Pak team will lose due to bad decisions of authority.West Indies International test cricket team will try to win this match as they will play in the foreign country but Pak selectors are not loyal to the country.

Sajid Khan and Noman Ali have done a fantastic job in home test series against England. Sajid Khan was man of the series in that test series as he picked 19 wickets, while Noman Ali provided good support to Sajid Khan. As a spinner they both rightly deserve slot in the squad. What surprises me is that Muhammad Abbas has also done a good job in test series played in South Africa but he is dropped. The selection committee should give chance to players that are performing. If out of form Babar Azam can find his in every in every series then why not players who are in form.   

PCB now well aware about changes which are happening around them due to political influence and unprofessional peoples those are involved in this system and killing beauty of Pakistani cricket.
Currently, we are living at bottom of all formats with nothing positive around cricket pace bowlers done good job in South Africa, but now they are giving them rest with having spinners friendly pitches batting is also at his worst due to poor technique and skills hopefully they could be more down in coming days.
If we have 2 tiers system in WTC for next cycle then surely Pakistani going to be dropped in 2nd tier due to their performance and errors which are done by these unprofessional stakeholders.

Sajid Khan was man of the series in that test series as he picked 19 wickets, while Noman Ali provided good support to Sajid Khan. As a spinner they both rightly deserve slot in the squad. What surprises me is that Muhammad Abbas has also done a good job in test series played in South Africa but he is dropped. The selection committee should give chance to players that are performing. If out of form Babar Azam can find his in every in every series then why not players who are in form.   

You are absolutely right bro . Because we are watching the performance of Afghanistan International cricket team which is very excellent and that team is improving their performance day by day which is excellent for the country and also for the players. Players of Zimbabwe should work on their weaknesses because audience want competition but they are giving one sided match and they are losing reputation on International level. I like only one player of Zimbabwe who is giving best in every match and that is Sikander Raza and he is toper of that team and no other player is playing like that and that is the reason Zimbabwe is looking all of matches because we could not watch team work. And then add the 6-7 teams who will remain in tier-1, and you have a super-majority to pass the reforms.

For Example, I would be more interested to see a test match between West Indies and Sri Lanka as compared to a match between India and Zimbabwe. Similarly, a one sided match between Australia and Sri Lanka may not be watched but viewers would be more willing to see a test match between Afghanistan and South Africa.

Arai Bhai ap kai sath maza aai ga, I was really enjoying my cricket stuff on Facebook for long time but now due to lack of time we have no long discussion and here after reading your cricketing history posts I enjoy good stats and figures because usually peoples are not going deep enough like this.
Currently, ICC is totally crap, but we can hope from Jay Shah he will bring some positive changes which ICC deserve to be done long time ago, but they are going like Nokia which is now having end of their business they have 6 years until 2031 they can create good space for just test and t20i with ODI needed to be scrap this will surely increase their revenue and workload could be also settled, but I am also in favor of having some discipline in WTC and test format if they want to keep alive for long time.

Well. In that case the BCCI can throw them breadcrumbs in the form of limited overs only bilaterals. But they need to be strict about test format. The presence of weaker teams such as Bangladesh and West Indies is one of the major reasons for the decline of viewership for test cricket. If things doesn't change, then test cricket will simply die out in the long run. Even now, it is mostly the middle aged and elderly fans who keep test cricket alive (exceptions being BGT and Ashes, which seems to have a broader viewership).

Yes ,you are right.  ICC want to make money and Don't matter which team will play against any team but India and Pak match is more exciting than any other team of the tournament. Anyway, the first match will start tomorrow at the Multan Cricket Stadium. Pakistan are the hosts, and I believe that they will have the upper hand this time. That said, weak bowling is still a concern.

Agreed. I feel that the ODI format is already close to getting scrapped while the T20 format is ballooning in popularity. Test format is somewhere in between the two at the moment in my opinion.

The 2 division strategy could help it stay relevant if it gets implemented later on. There's also the T10 format which is slowly and steadily gaining traction.

Again the India Pakistan matches hype will be there only if Pakistan team is also in a good form and shows a reasonable performance. Over the years we have seen that the Indian team has made good progress in the ICC tournaments while Pakistan usually get out early in the tournaments. Also, expect a few matches, it is only the India who comes out as a winner whenever these two teams play. If this imbalance continues, I don't think ICC will be able to generate passion for this Pakistan vs India matches.

Pakistan must try new players to replace overrated players like Babar Azam who are not giving any match winning performance but improving there personal stats. Muhammad Hurraira just 23 years has got an golden opportunity at his disposal. Pakistan test batting lineup is still fragile and there is no batsmen that we can say deserve a permanent slot in team. This crisis is an opportunity for new players to get a permanent slot in team by showing good and consistence performance. Pakistan relying mostly on spinner in this series and will try to improve there terrible test record at home.

Pakistan were once again trying to repeat his tactics at home through which out of no where they make a comeback in series against england, I mean they cover pitch and put some big heater on so that pitch got dry, and sajid and Noman show his magic. Looking to current squad Pakistan will go with four spinner and single fast while west indies has announced his squad with three spinner and two fast for first test match. So I believe things will be balance because both side has quality spinner who can turn things In thier team favor. Anyway in ayub absence they were trying some new combination even having experience player like imam in squad, but in order to make his bench more stronger they were trying to add as much as possible talent to his squad.

Pakistan vs West Indies first Test match was scheduled to be played today but due to bad weather the toss was postponed. Since tomorrow they have announced a great XI and they will try hard to go for the series. Since we have seen Pakistan team playing well in the matches between Pakistan and West Indies before, Pakistan has a very good chance of winning this series. However since this match includes spinners and good batsmen, they are very much favourites to win this series. I think if this match starts and the weather gets better then Pakistan team will try to give their best and play well to win the series.
