I am very upset that Bangladesh was all out for just 64 runs. I think the toss played a much more important role for AUS in this 2nd test. If the BAN team had won the toss, of course, they would have chosen to bowl first, then at least Bangladesh would not have seen such a batting disaster. Bangladesh's batting line can be said to be a complete failure, because they have lost 5 wickets while scoring only 12 runs. It seems unbelievable to hear that even the first 4 batsmen could not get any runs; that is, they were all out for zero. It cannot be accepted in any way as a BD fan. Bangladesh managed to score only 21 runs, losing their first valuable 6 wickets. It can be said that the Australian team has come back very strongly. BD's batting lineup collapsed to Mitchell Starc's brilliant bowling.

Today Bangladesh started like Bangladesh and will probably lose this Test by an innings. I don't know how Bangladesh won the 1st Test but rest assured Bangladesh will lose this Test. I have bet on Australia. Will Bangladesh be able to score 50 runs in the first innings?

There was some change in Bangladesh, which they had faced Australia, but now Australia has already become stronger, which is why Bangladesh will be in this situation. The Bangladesh team played very poorly in this first innings and made a losing match for themselves. The Bangladesh batsmen played badly as soon as they came that they scored 64 runs in 34 overs and it was quite surprising that Bangladesh played so badly. At one point, Bangladesh gave high hopes to the Indian fans, losing their 5th wicket for just 12 runs and their 6th for 21. West Indies already took the record away from India last year when they were all out for 27 runs against Australia. Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan all have the potential to achieve the feat.   

It won't be an easy feat but not impossible either. All they have to do play quality shit game like our team did but with dedication.

Like I mentioned above, the West Indies achieved it with pure dedication and were all out for 27 runs, a run ahead of New Zealand's all time classic record. Sri Lanka tried their best in 2024 against South Africa but were all out for 42 runs, ahead of India to achieve the feat in recent memories.

Maybe there was a slight role of the toss, but the Australian teams impressive performance left them no choice but to give their wickets away. It is now confirmed that the series will be tied at 1:1 if no miracle happens. We thought the Bangladesh team would dominate the Australian team too, but now the Bangladesh team is suffering and struggling.

The first innings of BAN was a disaster; the whole batting lineup collapsed for just 64 runs. As usual, the bowling attack was good but not at its best. Australia were able to score 210 runs, a 146-run first-innings lead. In the second innings, Bangladesh's batting is not looking good as they again have lost quick 3 wickets, and they still trail by 100 runs. The situation is not looking good, but if Shanto continues, they will be able to avoid an innings defeat.

IDK why I didn't check when the second game was gonna start (AUS vs BAN) cause I had intentions to bet on it. Looking at Australia's performance in first match, they might have had better odds. Did anybody check what odds they had before the start of the game and did anybody bet?

Didn't see single article about pitch, infact completely opposite reaction like why batters can't handle moving ball, standard of test batting etc etc. ladies that's you set the narrative.

If I was BCCI chief, I'd have probably punished such experts by blacklisting who are high on virtual signalling when it happens on Indian pitches.

He was out before 5 runs in the second innings and that would have been the end of it but the whole game was ruined and it seems BAN wanted to make a living out from this game so they played wrong shots and allowed AUS to go ahead and wins. It was the most disgusting test game with no partnership or planning that any team could have done super. Green added 67 runs with his craftsmanship and that was the end of BAN first innings failure, the tight work of Lyon and Smith wrapped up BAN second innings for 95 runs meaning 4 AUS players proved BAN 2 innings aim useless. It is quite for BAN that they have tied these 2 games at 2 places but in this game, stupidity is complete stupidity.

After questioning the pitch in SENA countries, two teams lost, and two teams won over the course of two days. I conducted research using AI on the losing teams and compiled the data. I found that these two teams have a history of losing since 2018 in SENA countries.

• Wins: 1 (at Lord's vs. England in July 2018)
• Draws: 2

Bangladesh:

There is too much noise about SENA pitches here on this forum because no one is talking about these things on any other platform. Both teams that lost games are the worst sides and do not have enough depth to play against quality teams. Especially Pakistan is now one of the worst sides in the test format due to their poor selection and worst preparation.
Test format needs good techinique with skills and stamina but currently most players are playing test matches after haivng performance in ODI and T20 so expecting good results from them is not good deal relatively Bangladesh playing much better and ahving good results but in this last test things were on worst level they needed to be work on their domstic system if they want good resutls in SENA countires otherwise its not going to be change and having good results.

Pakistan team is usually decent competitor in English condition tho and same could be said about Bangladesh in kiwiland ( we kinda suck there as well) also bangladesh hardly get to tour in Sena.

I don't understand why the Bangladesh team management selected such an incompetent player for a Test cricket tour to an important country like Australia. If they had selected any other player or an all-rounder, Bangladesh might have benefited from those players. Liton Das is one such player who did not bat in an innings in two Tests. so maybe he scored zero in that innings and zero runs in each innings meaning this is the first time I have seen a player score zero runs in three innings. I wonder if there is any such record in the past of not scoring any runs in two Tests. Lol

They might have increased their chances for further tours with the first match performance but after the humiliation of second match, I think they are back where they were.


India vs SL pitch looks green too but despite that Indian batters managed to put up good total, how does that work? Is SL bowling ain't good!? Also, I like that Sony Liv highlights flow smoothly unlike Hotstar highlights which shows session breaks.

Yep, we see a lot of discussions and criticisms when such things happen in Asian countries. But we rarely see much discussion if it happens in SENA countries. This pitch deserves to receive demerit points. I doubt any actions will be taken here in this case. Anyway, India is doing well in the 2nd test too. I'm expecting them to score 400+ runs.

Yes, Australia is always the favorite against Bangladesh, but the defeat of Bangladesh in the first Test gave a new light to the minds of Bangladeshi fans. Yeah, it can be said of Shameful Loss, because Bangladesh has not scored 100 runs in 2 innings, 64 runs in the first day, and 95 runs in the second day; it is very frustrating for them in this 2nd Test. I was defeated; I think that, if I am not mistaken, BAN has not had such a bad record in many years of test career. In the 1st Test Innings, we saw discipline in Bangladesh's batting line, so Bangladesh won very easily. But the batting line in the second Test match was ruled out, so Bangladesh had a very bad performance, though the bowling line was not bad. And I think they achieved a big achievement in Bangladesh on Australian soil.

I totally missed the game, I thought it starts on 25th Aug.

I should watch the highlights to see what I missed and looking at the scorecard, we did well, Padikkal is showing consistency, which is good for him and sure he might get a chance in SENA where his real test career at No.4 will begin.

They are paying playing a newbie Saransh jain over Kuldeep, I don't understand the tactics.
