On top of that, Pakistani top order batsmen are not in great form at the moment. Babar Azam and Imam ul Haq are not scoring runs and they are overdependent on the middle order. Anyway, it will be wrong to blame any single department. Their pacers also failed to take wickets during crucial durations. Apart from encouraging performances from younger players like Khurram Shahzad and Aamer Jamal, Pakistan has so far performed below expectations.

IMO, there should be three different teams for three different formats. I am not questioning the adaptability of the players but I believe every test playing nation should have players only for test cricket. The problem with Pakistani team is batting in test cricket. They either play too defensive or too agressive. Australia being playing in their home condition are aware of the way pitch will play. That is why their seam bolwers are good on those pitch.

The way Pakistan performed in the Asia Cup, the batting and bowling performed fairly well. But in the 2023 World Cup we did not see a good performance as Pakistan had a sloppy performance. Australia batted very well in the first test match against Pakistan vs Australia. In the first Test match, Pakistan's bowlers did not bowl well due to which Australia scored equal runs. But compared to Pakistan's bowling line which is good enough, Pakistan's batsmen are not batting very well. The only reason for losing the Test series against Australia is Pakistan's weak batting. So Pakistan must focus on their batting. Otherwise, if they do not look at their batting before the 2025 championship game, then they will not have much success in their 2025 championship. So they should focus on their batting.

Right pakistan is doing well in bowling department, world best fast bowlers in Pakistan team but the main problem of batting inconsistently. In second test match Pakistan bowlers picked 20 wickets that a good sign for Pakistan to win this match and level the series but Pakistani batters didn't perform well expect Shan masood who is captain of Pakistan test team they battled outstanding score fifty in 1st innings and second inning of test match. After shan masood no other batters take responsibility to chase down the target, Babar Azam also didn't bat well they only manage to score just 41 runs and bowled in both inning. Pakistan needs to improve his batting unit or make some changes in batting to win 3rd test match.

You are misunderstanding here, he said that about Pakistan not Australia.

Yeah, I am aware that his statement is pointing towards the Pakistani fielding. The time when these two legends, Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis played the Australian side had the same issue with fielding. That is what I am saying, at that time fielding of most big teams was not that good and bowlers used to get most of their wickets through bowled and lbw. At that time there was only one team that was excellent in fielding and that was South Africa.

South Africa vs India second test is going to start tomorrow and I am excited for this one. India are really, really good at bouncing back from big losses which is why I am expecting them to win this one.

Bumrah bowled well and had a good economy, taking four wickets. Out of the four wickets, two were from the bottom order. Four players contributed in big numbers, maybe breaking those wickets could've stopped the South African team from scoring 408 runs in the first inning. South Africa well utilized the home ground advantage, and in the upcoming match, India needs to do well in batting, only then bowlers be able to play without much pressure.

two big test match is going to held tomorrow. The firstly, Australia vs Pakistan 3rd test match and secondly South Africa vs India 2nd test match. And both of those are going to be existing. Although Aus vs pak match will going to held earlier IMHO. But Pakistan and india two asian counties were performance bad in previous Matches where pak defeated by Aus with huge run and SA won by an innings with india lol. Hope this time We'll see some changes, Pakistan and india both team seems dedicated this time. So upcoming matches will be most exciting, I'll must watch. I expect few changes tomorrow. Although, Avesh Khan has been added to squad I don't expect much from him, and he should stick to bench. Mukesh Kumar should make into the squad instead of Prasidh. I find Jaiswal to be T20 player, he should stick to that and hone his skills there, let Abhimanyu be given chance instead of him.

Jadeja is likely to play tomorrow, it's good for India.

They should provide more opportunities to spinners like Mayank and Bishnoi instead of focusing so much on seam bowlers in my honest opinion. I do agree with your opinion about Mukesh instead of Prasidh.

Also, Jadeja is always a valuable addition in any format which is why him playing could help the team tremendously.

After watching last test matches between these teams I am feeling there could be not changes, and we will have same results because both teams are not good and able to give their best against these teams at their homes specially Pakistan which was near to win second test but sadly two drop catches bring them down, and they lost match easily.

Even Indian performance was terrible but still we can expect some improvement from them with things are looking better even Cape Town is good for the Rabada and their pacers we have few changes for the South Africa as well with Bavuma is out and Coetze could be also out with Maharaj is coming but still things can take change as India is also having few changes which can bring good improvement for them.

Saim ayub replacing Imam Ul Haque, He was included in the squad instead of Imamu-ul-Haq but he did not do well in this regard Imam-ul-Haq was better. However, both Abdullah Shafiq and Saim Ayub were dismissed after facing two balls each and Pakistan's opening pair failed miserably. In today's match, Pakistan's squad should be treated as an eight-man army.

Furthermore it’s the last test match of Warner I’m expecting him to retire from this format on a high hence I knew that there was no chance for Pakistan to draw or win this game.

I wasn't expecting too. Mohammad Rizwan is playing the fast. This is looking like a T20I match. Pakistan lost 5th wicket at 96 runs and at that time Pakistan played almost 30 overs. And now they played 44 overs and have made almost 100 runs. Means they have made almost 100 runs in 14 overs. Mohammad Rizwan already collected 88 runs and still playing fast. He has made 12 boundaries with 10 fours and 2 sixes. If Pakistan will play 70 overs and Mohammad Rizwan will remain on pitch so I think Pakistan will cross 350+ runs easily. I am enjoying the match 😃.

Very disappointed start by Pakistani openers especially Syam Ayib out on duck who mahe his debut in today in replacement of imam ul haq. Abdullah Shafique didn't perform out on duck and Babar azam played some good shorts and out by just scoring 26 runs. Pakistan current score is 190 runs in loss of 5 wickets Muhammad Rizwan is playing outstanding scored 88 runs not out in just 102 balls, just 12 runs short from his well deserved  century alongside with Salam ali agha who is playing at 34 runs not out in just 50. This partnership is very important for Pakistan to set a good total against Australia in 1st innings.
