Although England just lost Jamie Smith, Gus Atkinson and Brydon Carse are adding valuable runs for them. At the moment, the lead is 162 runs. When England won the toss and opted to bat first, I was surprised. But now, I can say that the England skipper made the right decision. England can't afford to lose a wicket now. If they do, then the tail will be exposed with Archer and Wood coming in. For Australia, chasing a target of 180-200 is going to be tough. All of the England bowlers were exceptional in the first innings, including Jofra Archer, Brydon Carse and Ben Stokes.

The match was actually interesting overall, first England team finished their first innings at 172 runs, from this point, when we thought that the Australian team would easily take this run lead, then we saw again that the Australian team was all out for just 132 runs.
Then we thought that the English team might be going to win the first match but here again the opposite happened, the English team was all out for just 164 runs. However, Travis Head performed brilliantly in the second innings as Australia opened the innings and, to be honest, he played a T20I in a Test match and scored 123 runs, and that too off just 83 balls.

What a rollercoaster of a test between the Aussies and English. I did not expect Head of all people to decimate the English so badly like it was some sort of T20 match at the end. Crazy stuff.

On the other hand, South Africa might actually end up winning this series if they win this one and whitewash India or draw it and win 1-0. The Champs are truly here.

Bangladesh has declared the 2nd innings after having a lead of 508 runs. They have given a huge target to Ireland. There are almost 5 sessions left of this test match. I think it is more than enough to take all the wickets of Ireland. But the decision of declaration has surprised me a bit. Mushfiqur Rahim was not out at 53 runs. Bangladesh team decision makers could have given him more time so that he could go for another century in his 100th test match. Anyway, the pitch is too good for batting. Bangladeshi bowlers have to do the job properly now.

Mushfiqur Rahim needed 47 runs to score a century, which was not less, and the target of 500+ runs was enough. So after Mominul Haque got out, Bangladesh declared their innings. Now Mushfiqur Rahim's 100th match will be memorable, because he scored a century in the 1st innings and remained unbeaten on a half-century in the 2nd innings. However, Bangladesh gave a huge target, which was challenging for Ireland. However, Ireland scored 176 runs for the loss of 6 crucial wickets. Ireland needs 333 runs to win, Ireland has only 4 wickets in hand, so it will not be possible for them to chase the target and will not be able to survive the whole day.

I know that Bangladesh is going to win this match against Ireland, at least I feel like it from the scorecard. But I have another thought. However, the way Ireland batsmen are batting, it seems that Bangladesh will win by a huge margin against Ireland.

It will not be possible to say anything until the results of the South Africa and India match are out. South Africa won the first match, despite India's complete advantage. However, South Africa do not seem to be able to score 300 runs in this innings.

The match between Bangladesh vs Ireland could have ended today if Bangladesh players had not missed so many catches towards the end. Taking wickets in Test cricket is already difficult, and if players miss catches like this, it becomes even more difficult for the bowlers to take wickets. I watched the game for a while towards the end and during that time, several Bangladesh players missed more than one catch. However, Ireland needs a lot of runs to win this match, although this run is never possible for Ireland, so now it is only a matter of time for Bangladesh to win this match.

And situation is saying that this test will give results on 3rd day and will not go to its 5th day.

In my opinion, this was the most interesting performance from Ireland's batting performance from the first Test match so far, because according to the match stats, Ireland was losing wickets so quickly at the beginning, they were not in a position to cross 180 runs, but from there they continued to try to get their lower order, maybe if the top order batsmen could have taken a few more runs, then maybe they could have reduced the lead from Bangladesh's first innings score a little,,,, but ultimately Bangladesh is the strong opponent here, or as the host.

Absolutely no doubt Ireland make a Great comeback out of no where, mostly expect Bangladesh to secure that victory by an innings and few runs because at that time Ireland were looking terrible and were loosing vital wickets of thier main player, but some lower order took stand and changes rest of scenario and expections for Bangladesh, no doubt it will be an easy victory for Bangladesh because they were already ahead in term of lead and once again at second innings trying to build mountains. Hope things will be done smooth for them.

In the second innings, the Bangladesh team could not play completely with all their wickets, but the 297 runs they have managed to score now and the 476 in the first innings are basically 773 runs, which is almost impossible for Ireland to beat, and already the Ireland team has lost their 6 wickets for just 176 runs.
Now they have to score 333 runs with the remaining 4 wickets. I think that is not possible in any way.

Anyway, in the second innings, the experienced players of the Bangladesh team, especially Mominul Haque and Mushfiqur Rahim, have been able to contribute well, along with the young stars Mahmudul Hasan Joy and Sadman Islam, who have also started very well. In the first innings, Zak Crawley started with no socre on the inital balls and he was looking to take the single from his partner but partner refused that is good choice because the ball directly goes into the hands of fielders and on the very next ball upcoming on that of the over, in fact on the last ball he played it very long with not a good stance and it edged and goes into the hands of slip fielder. He played a long shot first of all, it was out side so why should you play it and just say if it would be the middle of the bat, it was not going into the boundary, in fact it would go into the fielder's hand but today he again tip the ball against Starc but Starc with his great fielding hands caught the ball and again out on duck.

England has a good bowling attack by luckily having Jofra Archer and Ben Stokes, Jofra Archer got the early wickets last time and then Ben Stokes did not stop, just looking for wickets and that is it. Wonderful combination and cooperation in the team of England.

And if  we talk about the Australian side, they also have wonderful bowlers, including Mitchell Starc and others, but I think Mitchell Starc is enough even alone. He did not require any other bowler who makes pressure and helps him from other side.

Australia is the winner of the first test match but I am sure England will comeback strong in the next game, the Ashes is going to be very interesting, just like always.

I thought Ireland would lose the second match by an innings. Even though they lost 5 wickets for just 94 runs. Lorcan Tucker played a much-needed innings of 75 not out. Also, Ireland were able to score 265 runs in the first innings due to innings of 46 and 49 runs by Doheny and Neill respectively.

Bangladesh are batting well in the second innings too. Although we always see poor performance from the top order of this team, they are playing well against Ireland. Bangladesh managed to score 156 runs for the loss of 1 wicket. Joy got out for 60 runs and Shadman is still at the crease with 69 runs.

Yeah, n Bangladesh and Ireland 2nd test Bangladesh seemed to be completely dominated in day 4 and at the end of the day one Bangladesh make 292 runs with the lost of 4 wickets. And Mushfiqur Rehman moved on 99 runs ands Litan Das moved on 47 runs and both individual start the s day 2 very well and Mushfiqur Rehman completed his century and scored 106 runs inning and also Litan Das scored his century and make 128 runs and at the end of inning Bangladesh scored 476 runs.    

Ireland start innings with Andy Balbirine and Paul Sttirling and both the openers give a normal start and stirling scored 27 runs and Andy Balbirine scored 21 runs but after opening couple Ireland team seemed to be struggled but at the end of day 2 Ireland score 98 runs with lost of 5 wickets. And in day 3 of game Ireland shows some agrestion scores 265 runs with the help of 49 runs inning of Jordan Neil and then Bangladesh start there second inning and the day 3 is also a lucky day for Bangladesh and team scores 156 runs  with the lost of Hassan joy who scores 60 runs.

the start of day 4 Bangal batsman dominating on Ireland bowlers and  Shadman scores 78 runs and Mominul Haque scores 87 runs and Bangladesh scores 297 runs declared the inning and give the target of 509 runs . It was a very close match though. In the first innings, England managed to wrest the lead as Ben Stokes, Brydon Carse and Jofra Archer managed to bowl out the Aussies for just 132. But then the Travis Head tsunami in the second innings made sure that there will be no repetition of that, and England went down solely because of it. Else, England had a fair chance of win, after they were able to setup a 200 plus target. Marnus Labuschagne also played a crucial role, as he provided solid support to Travis Head. BTW, why was Nathan Lyon included in the squad? He bowled a grand total of 2 overs.

South Africa doing fairly well on day 1. Losing just 2 wickets in the first 50 overs while scoring 148. 40 overs to go for the day to end and they could cross 250 with wickets to spare. Should be a decent stand on the Guwahati pitch. This is the first every Test match in this stadium which becomes 30th venue in India that hosted Test cricket.
We'll observe something different in the order of play today as there'll be Tea break before Lunch. Usually, the tea break comes after Lunch but since Assam is an eastern state, they lose light faster than the Rest of India. The change was made to have sufficient light and playing time post Lunch.

India got 6 wickets, South Africa on 269 good batting by them but it is a different pitch than in the previous game, we have seen pitch good for bowling ( Eden Garden ) where both teams easily got the wickets, but now it is good for batsmen and kind of good for both.
Kuldeep Yadav is the highest wicket taker in this innings, got three wickets while Jaspirt Bumrah with good bowling with an economy rate of just 2.01.

Australia never let any team to win on their pitch especially in test matches in their home ground. They finished the first  game of Ashes in just two days and now for the next game, we have to wait till 4th December. By the way, there is a tour match in between. Mitchell Starc with an extraordinary bowling, he got 10 wickets overall after adding both the wickets from first and the second innings. While also Travis Head with his century, and being the highest scorer of this first match. Australia has the lead now and let's see who will win the next matches.

Runs are not coming easy for the batters but so are the wickets and plenty of hard work for bowlers.

100 overs up and fair amount of miles in every bowler's legs. This is time legs get tired for everyone and management will be thinking workload of Bumrah lol.
