Sinners did an impressive job. Manav Suthar and Ravindra Jadeja were in control after an early breakthrough from Mohammad Shami. Shami, the 6th wicket partnership gives some work to do for the Indians, but still they are having a good three days of this test match.
The weather is also going to play an important role because Galle always has rains, which already have enough lost time, and the last two days are also going to be problematic due to rains.

Sometimes I think that Shubman Gill would not go for this thing maybe he will declare the innings early and at the same time to decalre the innings is more good option compared to score and get huge lead cause the main motive is to win match.

At the same time, Shubman Gill mind set as a test captain is like that to take 20 wickets no matter how good you bat, these were said by Shubman Gill (in Past around 1  or more years ago).

A target of 250 to 275 should be more than enough to win a test game in the 4th innings, and India already got a lead of 178 so they will go for something like 400 before thinking about declaring. Ideally, letting SL bat in the last 15 overs of the day should be a good move.

Just think about how Pat Cummins feels about this defeat by the Bangladesh team. The first match went in the name of Bangladesh with 9 wickets in hand, creating huge pressure on the Australian team. Pat Cummins himself did not make good runs, scoring 9 and 8 runs in both matches.

If thet top order batters had responded well then maybe then they could have scored valuable runs to challenge india. But indian bowlers did best job to control the game and showed how effective they are in such situation. If everything remain normal then India has high chance to win as sl already trail by huge runs

It's a rain effected match so you have to take this into account as well. 160-180 overs of game and Indian target would be to bat atleast 50-60 overs and score atleast above 150 extra runs, if you touch 200+ it's good too. After that, have a crack on SL for good 100-120 overs with option of 2 new cherries in hand ( cut overs if rain is there).

Although, don't think SL would last this long, considering their first innings but better safe than sorry.

Except that one partnership between Niroshan Dickwella and Dinusha there is not much of a fight given by SL, I thought they really pulled the game 180 but then started folding again. I expect pitch to be even more assisting in the final session so India is like probability of 80% to win the game. But as you said, cricket is a funny game, and we can expect the unexpected especially after bangbros pulled such a win.
