After Pakistan Sri Lanka this is the only match I have seen in the World Cup where the opposition has won with difficulty. Sri Lanka had to struggle a lot to win this match against Netherlands. Sri Lanka secured victory by five wickets with perhaps ten balls to spare. When West Indies were eliminated from the World Cup tournament, we wondered how a team like West Indies could not qualify for the World Cup and how the Netherlands qualified for the World Cup.
