In first ODI match in of Australia Women tour to Bangladesh Women competition, this match was finished today which was clashed among Australia women squad against Bangladesh women squad. According to first match condition and scores stats, Australia women squad is much stronger than Bangladesh women squad also Australia women squad played many innings previously and also displayed significant performance in these competitions. I give partial blame to BCB. We have seen even in men’s cricket BCB were not able to attract any foreign broadcasters previously. Only the local broadcasters go to BCB because local people watch the game. That is why a part of the blame falls on BCB’s side which handles these broadcasting stuff.

But I think the rest of the thing has to do with popularity. Not many people, especially in Bangladesh, watch Women’s cricket. So it is not surprising to me that they could not even find a local broadcaster to show these games on Television. These will take time, especially in a country like Bangladesh.

I don't understand what the batting performance can do, especially when three wickets run out in a row can't be attributed to the batting performance at all. A team is bound to face disaster if it is run out recklessly.

Yeah, I agree with you. There must be something wrong with the main provider of feed. Or this issue would not have persisted in the men’s side of cricket at the very least. A few years back when Australia and New Zealand came to Bangladesh, they had not been able to sign a deal with Australian media or New Zealand’s media channels.

The possible reasons for this could be many, but they need to solve it as soon as possible. Because this might hold the Bangladesh team back in the future from getting to play with teams like Australia and New Zealand in the future. Playing this bilateral series are too important for a growing team like Bangladesh.

The funny think is what I actually expected from Bangladesh women team they really did more bad performance than my expectation. I knew before the start of the match that today's match was going to be a completely one-sided match and it just happened that Australia's women's team won in a completely uncontested match. But I want to make a mention if the Australian top order batsmen did not play very well today, they could have scored more than 300. I definitely want to say that Bangladesh women team is going to be whitewashed by Australia women team in this ODI series.

The first problem is women's cricket do not generate a lot of viewers. Not a lot of revenue as well. So there has to be a balance between the amount which is being asked and the amount which they are ready to pay with the revenue that is being generated. If the money is not coming in, how are you going to pay enough money? And in general, it is also thought that Bangladesh women vs Australia women is going to be one-sided. So people are also far less interested in that. How would you generate money if people are not interested? But a percentage of the blame does go to BCB.

Now i think of it, the latter 2 cricket boards (CA, ECB) hardly host Bangladesh and rarely travel there for bilateral. When 2 teams rarely play/ not traveling each other regularly then it's hard for broadcasters to sign a long-term deal because Usually, broadcasters buy a full package (Home series Men + Women) and negotiations can go south for one-off series because both parties want to squeeze each other for an extra penny.

Yes You are right experience matter alot Bangladesh women has not have as much experience as the Australia team. In the first ODI at one stage Bangladesh women are in a winning position but they lost quick wickets and put pressure on all the other batters and sadly they All out in just 95 runs. Australia women win match by a huge lead against Bangladesh women by 118 runs and led the series by 1-0. I think the results were expected from start of the series so no one should be shocked and surprised because just like every where in men and woman cricket Australian have shown thier dominance and to be honest they will give you a very small chance to win against them as they always stick with Thier tactics. Anyway if we have a look at score board Bangladesh done quite well especially at start of the match by sending thier top order to the pavilion before they make some handsome runs later some of thier middle order and lower middle order really hit them hard and through thier contribution they scored a decent defendable target. Now when it come to Bangladesh bat they give a decent start but unable to continue his momentum and later they way they middle order collapse were quite disappointed because they can play an important role while chasing but unfortunately unable to done his job properly and thus lose the match. Still Bangladesh has a chance to comback and show thier dominance
