I knew we wouldn't see big scores on this pitch. The pitch was bowling friendly. Even then I did not think that the South African team would bat so badly and give such a small target.

You are right. We were not at all prepared to see such poor batting from experienced South African batsmen. South Africa team is very strong. But today no experienced South African batsman can bat well against the Afghanistan bowlers. This team lost 7 important wickets to make only 36 runs. South Africa's batsmen and bowlers both performed poorly in this match. The South African team was defeated in the first match of the 3-match series. Will South Africa win the next two matches? I think this series will be won by Afghanistan team.

I did not expect this loss from the South African team, looking at their past matches with the Afghan teams as well as with the other teams. I remembered their supremacy a time ago when they gave a very tough time to any powerful teams, and now I am seeing their poor performance against the Afghan team. They played 3 matches in the ODI. One was abounded, and the two were won by the South African team; that time was their golden time, I guess.

Many, many congratulations to the Afghan team for their wonderful winning by 6 wickets; this is a good achievement for them for this ODI. They lead with 1 and have to win 1 more, so they will win two matches in this series, and boom, they will be the winner. I don't think that the African team will sit down. They will make a strong comeback to overcome their best performance and will try to name this series.

Anyway I believe that the result of today's match between South African team and Afghanistan team was unexpected for most people.
However, I would like to have a slightly different discussion now. Did any of you watch the ODI match between Oman and Nepal?
Oman and Nepal are two teams of similar strength but Oman team has won four of the seven matches played between Oman and Nepal so far. Moreover, their batting lineup is slightly better than Nepal team's batting lineup.

Currently Oman team is batting against a target of 220 runs, and currently, they have taken 15 runs after four overs and yet they have not lost a single wicket. They need 206 more runs in 46 overs. If they can manage the wicket, I think Oman can win if they play at the current run rate and increase the run rate towards the last.

Nepal and Oman both teams are of equal strength but in today's match Nepal did not have much advantage in terms of batting i.e. the run score could have exceeded 220 runs but could not so the target of 220 runs for Oman does not seem to be that difficult in today's match.

Today we have match no 27 in ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League 2 between the UAE vs USA which was won easily by USA thanks to impressive bowling by Jagdeep Singh and Saurabh Netravalkar both demolish the UAE batting lineup which ended on just 106 just three batsmen able to cross double figure all others gone cheaply.

In chase USA openers have no problem as their star batsman Andries Gous hits 66 on 54 balls and now with this win USA having 8 points from their last 6 games and good chance of jumping at the top due to their superior NRR.

Currently, we are having match no 28 between Nepal vs Oman where Nepal is having troubling time as their openers cheaply gone back and after 13 overs they are having 32 runs 2.

One more game is ongoing of same competition and this match is playing among Nepal squad against Oman squad. In this match, Oman sqaud seem good and strong compare to Nepal squad and Nepal completed their first batting inning and their performance was very bad and I feel that they faced very big defeat today. Other match was already finished and In this match, USA squad and UAE squad was participated. Previously UAE squad played four matches in this competition and in all four matches include this one their squad delivered worst performance in all matches because of their bad strength they lost matches one by one and their position was dropped to last. UAE squad has managed 106 scores off 50 overs inning and USA squad bowlers restricted them at low scores and simply all 106 scores in below than half inning just 15 overs. What a amazing performance of USA sqaud displayed this round hope their squad will display such strong performance against Canada squad and other.

But one thing important to note that Afghanistan has a small target but they also lost 4 wickets in chasing of this small target so this is showing that South Africa can give a tough time to Afghanistan team. So I think the next match will be more exciting because South Africa will to tie the series. And Afghanistan will try to win. But I hope Afghanistan will continue their performance.

England vs Australia first ODI match

After a strong fight in the T20 series, the five-match ODI series between England and Australia resumes. Although England and Australia are the two strongest teams in the cricket world, according to the current performance, the Australian team is ahead in the ODI format. In today's match between Stallions (Pakistan) and Dolphins (Pakistan), we found Babar Azam in defensive mode. He played well at the start but did not make runs as fast as he has in the last two matches. Scored 104 runs in 100 balls, almost run a ball for this legend in this match.

No I expected them because their performance is not impressive and good enough to beat Afghanistan and Afghanistan is a very strong team right now.  South Africa had an innings of 50 overs but still scored 106 runs in a poor performance and the whole team would be out.  There was a lot of pressure and good bowling from the Afghanistan side due to which the South African batsmen could not play against Afghanistan.  And in response, Afghanistan's batsmen scored 107 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 26 overs to win the match.  And this was the first match South Africa has been tipped to do well for a long time but they don't follow through and lose most of the matches to every team and are putting themselves among the underdogs.Congratulations to Afghanistan for this win and I am very happy that they won this match with a lot of hard work.

Today Travis Head is still batting but today he is playing with the measurement of the format as we have seen in the last series against Scotland, he was batting at next level. As he take no single or double and just focuses on the boundaries, scoring more than 50 in each match, but now he is playing with match conditions, which is good but also at the same time, when the team comes under pressure then he has to forget the format and start to play with boundaries.

He is batting on 61 runs so far, I think he will complete his century if he continues to bat like this and the wickets on the other end do not fall. Australia can win this match provided how long Travis head stays on the ground.

My guess was that we would see big scores in this match. My guess is correct. England's batsmen were able to bat very well. And managed to give a target of 316 runs. A victory is not possible by giving a target of less than 300 on this type of pitch. Even after giving a target of 316 runs, England team cannot win unless England's bowlers are able to bowl in a controlled manner. Even after giving a big target, the outcome of the match will depend on the performance of England's bowlers. Ben Duckett and Will Jacks batted well today. Ben Duckett scored 95 runs and Jacks scored 62 runs.

Australian batsmen are also batting very well now. Australia lost the first wicket for 20 runs and the second wicket for 96 runs. Travis Head is batting very well. He is still unbeaten with 74 runs. At the end of 22 overs, the Australian team collected 134 runs with the loss of 2 wickets. Australia need 182 more runs to win.
