What a decider between England and Australia ongoing at the moment. On one hand, it looks like Australia will cruise to a series win while it looks like England can pull things back in their favor through successive wickets on the other hand.

I bet on England since the odds were extremely favorable even though it looks like they will lose this match and series. Also, why Inglis instead of Carey? Weird!

Sorry for your loss but I don't think it wouldn't also right that blaming the rain only for the lost in this match because the way England recover in the third match the same way Australian team was having to recover this match after losing two matches. I said this because the way Australian batter are performing in this match if they can continue till to the 50over then their run could be around 400 if they batted first. So in today's match Australia make the performance that they will be able to beat even the target on 400. Anyway good enjoyable seires thank to both team players.

Australia are desperate to win today's match and Australia are trying to do as well as they need to do. At the end of 11 overs, they lost one wicket and collected 111 runs, which means that if we consider the overall statistics of the match, Australia is ahead in economic run rate so far. If Australia can maintain this run rate then there is a high chance of Australia winning today's match. But if England can make a miracle and fall consecutive wickets, then maybe something positive can come even for England.

The ‍spectators have different perspective in this match but that didn't happen. After the draw of the last T20 series, perhaps many thought that the 5-match series would definitely be enjoyable but that too was not possible due to rain. Although Australia easily win today's match but they had to win on DLS method. It would be better if there was a chance to watch the entire 50 overs.

England got off to a good start when Australia won the toss and elected to bowl. The opening batsmen scored well today. But some batsmen did not do well at all. In order to win against Australia, the batsmen have to give big targets as well as the bowlers have to spread their influence. Only then it is possible to win against Australia. Such was the picture in which England won two matches. All in all, the series has been competitive.

I had a lot of hope in this match that Australia will win the match and also the series.  Although the England batsmen gave a tough and big target like 4 matches, but due to DLS, Australia will win the match.  Had it not been for that, the pace and overs with which Australia were playing could have won the match.  But they were lucky to win the match before the game was over.  I said that England cannot play against Australia.  Congratulations to Australia for this win and keep up the good work and keep winning matches.  Although England's performance was not bad but very good, but it was not their luck to win that's why they could not win the match.  Even if the match had continued, according to this calculation, England's bowlers could not have done anything.  As Australia had 29 overs to spare and needed 144 runs, they could meet the target.  I reckon the Aussie bowlers have been doing poorly in the last few matches, if they had stopped runs and taken wickets in the 4th match they would have won the series long ago.

Sad to hear you lost your bets. England would have had some chances if it hadn't rained, but the rains blew away all chances. But Australia batted brilliantly, especially early on, if Travis Head and Matthew Short had not been aggressive, the DLS system might not have led the run-rate. However, Australia eventually won the series. Best wishes to Australia for winning this very competitive series.

The Australian team gave a befitting reply as they lost the next two matches in a row and gave their best performance in today's match.  However, due to the DLS system, the Australian team managed to win, but if the whole match performance, the Australian team would have been more likely to lose. This was the weakest point of the Australian team as two of the attacking batsmen of the Australian team got out after collecting few runs.

Definitely they have the chances. Because there is a big difference between the full match and DLS method. There should not be the rain. Well that is the weather so we should not say anything.
Well I think if this match will be played till end and there was no rain so England could make us surprise with their bowling. But unfortunately they couldn't.
By the way they set a big target for Australia team and I was expecting a win by England. Both teams are strong but my best wishes was with England because they make a great comeback in the last two matches. I still appreciate the England team but Congratulate to Australia on their win.
