I guess that it was the DLS method that helped the Australian team win this final match and with that they win the series too. Unlike previous matches, today Australian team played an agressive innings and due to this they were in the winning position throughout the match. Since England team had scored high, the only option for the Australian team was to go fast throughout the innings. The good luck with the Australia team was that they did not lose wickets and this helped them go with the fast run rate throughout the match.

The lost thier first wicket at 78 runs when Travis Head was out and the second wicket at 118 runs when they lost Matthew Short. However they did not slow down the scoring rate and won this rain interrupted final by the DLS method.
