Bangladesh has collapsed once again and fail to play 50 over .They don’t have cricket sense ,I thik they should quit their game if the play like this .The selector of BCB also need to choose quality batsman from all around the country .New Zealand played a exceptinal way on bowling, fielding .They have team affort and Bangladesh were keep loosing every time of spare on their innings .Bangladesh should need to play better cricket if they play like this they can be next Kenya .I think they need to improve their mind as we know cricket is also a mind game where Bangladesh loosing continuously .They need to do hard work specially on batting unit .Hope we can see a better team and better play on world cup for Bangladesh .

I guess there was no intention to win a match or win the series. The purpose of this series is to try out the performers and practice for the World Cup. There is no interest in this match or in this series as a Bangladeshi. More interesting drama happening in Bangladesh cricket outside of the ground as Sakib and the coach agree not to take Tamim Iqbal into the World Cup squad.

If Bangladesh team management selects Tamim Iqbal for the World Cup squad, Sakib is not going to play in the World Cup. Tamim said he is not 100% fit and he cannot play all the matches. Let's see where it goes.

Bangladesh played no different than they played at the 2nd ODI. In this match, they were all out at 171 and in the previous match, they only scored 168 runs.

As i mentioned in my last post, their captain Najmul Hossain Shanto played well but he did not get the much needed support from the other end. He alone made 76 runs but none of the other Bangladesh batsmen made any score. Adam Milne took 4 wickets and Trent Boult took 2 wickets. The Bangladesh bowlers looked helpless in the match.

Bangladesh bowlers do not have the strength to defend this score.

Bangladesh's batting performance is quite disappointing, except for Shanto. Najmul Hossain Shanto played well, but the rest of the batters couldn't support him effectively. Overall, Bangladesh's batting has been on the decline recently, even struggling to bat through the full 50 overs. New Zealand only needs 172 to win the match and confirm the series. When target is cheap, we can't expect too much from Bangladesh's bowling unit. This series has been frustrating for Bangladesh before heading into the ODI World Cup.

NZ batting is strong, and few of their players are in good nick. It will be interesting to see how Kane will perform after a long absence. Apart from Trent Boult, I think NZ can count on Matt Henry as a wicket-taking option. Sodhi did perform in the last match against BAN, but I agree with your point of view that he is not a quality world-class bowler. Overall, I think NZ have a slim chance to win the title. But they can surprise anyone.

If NZ win today's match, they will win the series but if somehow Bangladesh win this (need a miracle), then the series will be a draw, as the first match was a draw due to no play (rain).

New Zealand must be WIN in this match, i think there are no miracle will be happened because still 8 wickets in their hands, right now 2 batsman already set, NZ needs 77 runs to win in 28 overs, it’s very easy match for NZ. I think India was also not playing with there full strength in yesterday game. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are not playing in yesterday's game. KL Rahul was Indian Captain in place of Rohit Sharma. Both teams are giving rest to there main players to avoid injury ahead of ODI WC. With recent wins its very much clear that India is favourite to lift WC trophy.

No doubt ,India is most strongest team whole the World but luck is very important to Win World Cup Final.India played excellent.Shubman Gill and Iyer made centuries for their teams.Glen Maxwell and Mitchell Marsh  are top performer of Australia .When they will be fit,this team will give tough to India in World Cup.India showed thay without big players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli ,India can win match easily against Australia.

As you know World Cup is so close and the country that hosts this World Cup is India and Pakistan’s players don’t have much experience playing cricket in India. I am not saying this.

As a Bangladeshi supporter, we are all hopeful that Bangladesh will return to parity in today's match, but Bangladesh's innings was bowled out for 171 runs. Although the first match against New Zealand was abandoned due to rain, New Zealand set a target of 255 runs to Bangladesh in the second match but unfortunately Bangladesh were bowled out for 168 runs. Despite having its own venue, such a poor performance by Bangladesh really hurts the hearts of cricket fans. Expectations were very high from them but unfortunately rather than Shanto none of thier batter scored a decent runs inorder to get into the game, I think in my mind from Bangladesh previous matches results of this series that they has to work on thier batting line-up. Yes ,Its happened already, as expected .I knew that they will loose this match as well .As batting unit they were consistently loosing and collapsed in every match on ODI from Asia Cup except Afghanistan match .Bangladesh need some batters who actually have sense where and how need to play on ODI. I think they should need more work on batting side .I think they have lost their best captain ever who is Mashrafe Bin Mortaza .They have lack of leadership as well and many more .Bangladesh now on back footed for world cup cause they don’t have any archievment which make some positive mind set for world cup .Very much poor performance throughout the series against New Zeland .Hope they will work a lot on lacking and come back to the Asia Cup as a strong oponent .

Still more than a week left and few reports did suggest that he's recovering quite well so there might be some possibility. We might get our answers when we get into warm up fixtures.

IDK, they were hardly fielding their first choice team in ODI bilateral (Everyone was doing this) so you never know and like i said many times these guys always punch above their weights so there is a possibility of some surprise.  

Well.. I agree that they punch above their weight at times. But at the same time, historically New Zealand hasn't performed well in Indian conditions, unlike the case with England or Australia. They have a very weak spin bowling lineup, and this is going to be a big minus for them going forward. On top of that I am not sure how their batsmen will handle the South Asian spinners in the turning pitches of India. But again, New Zealand is a team that is capable of shocking the favorites (in case they can get adjusted to the pitch conditions).

That's one part of the argument but at the same time, their bowlers both spinners and seamers are doing an alright job on rank turners in Bangladesh and that too with the second string team.

Lot of outcome will depend on the WC pitches, overall spin does come into play in India during middle phase of the inning but Pitches in India are diverse. You have bouncy-fast paced pitches in Wankede/Dharmshala, you also have an absolute road in Mohali/Indore, slow pitch in Delhi, spin heaven in Chepuk and mix bag in Kolkatta so there is something for everyone.

This series turned out to be a morale booster for New Zealand. Let's not forget the fact that Bangladesh is not exactly the best opponent you can get in Asia, but the fact that New Zealand managed to defeat them comprehensively while playing under Asian conditions is a big boost for them. Adam Milne and Trent Boult picked up 6 wickets between them, and this is a very good sign ahead of the ODI World Cup. Among the spinners, Ish Sodhi, Rachin Ravindra and Cole McConchie have done a decent job so far. Addition of Mitchell Santner would make their spin attack even more stronger.
