Sri Lanka A and South Africa A played a competitive match, Sri Lanka performed very well in most of the matches. However, most of the matches that they have played in the present time have been due to the batting and bowling efforts that they have been able to give in this match. But the South Africa team players have started to perform very badly, already there seems to be a control problem according to their performance, maybe the captain is failing to control them properly in the South Africa team.

Sri Lankan A team is playing well and they are well in all formats. SA A team is not playing with confidence and that's why they lose first 2 matches. In second match , SL A team gave handsome target and Lahiru was top performer of this match because he gave good start to the team and made important runs. After that we saw Sahan half century and he was prominent from the middle order. Chamindu was also very close to half century but he also played crutial role in the win . Dushan was top wicket taker and he took 5 wickets and he made the match in the end . And if  he could not take 5 wickets,his team could lose this match because 9 overs were behind and they need only 31 runs. They could win this but I appreciate to Dushan .

South Africa A team got out at 239 runs. They were playing well and trying well but they lost the wickets earlier. If they played till 50 overs so I was sure that they can win. Dushan Hemantha was great in bowling from Srilanka who collected 5 wickets.

South Africa A vs Sri Lanka A, 1st ODI match Sri Lanka performed well. Sri Lanka's Nuwanidu Fernando put in a good batting performance, scoring 97 runs off 101 balls. And Kamil Mishara also performed well, scoring 71 off 75 balls. And if we look at the South Africa A Innings, it can be seen that Sri Lanka kept them under constant pressure, first Sri Lanka set a big target of 298 runs to South Africa, and when South Africa went to bat, Sri Lanka's brilliant bowling performance in front of them. South Africa could not survive the front of Sri Lanka's brilliant bowling performance, they were all out for 205 runs in just 36.5 overs, and Sri Lanka won the match by 93 runs.

May have also seen today's second match between these two teams. Sri Lanka A won the match by 31 runs against South Africa A in today's second ODI match too. Although Sri Lankan fans may not be satisfied with the performance of their main team, they are certainly satisfied with the performance of their team, especially in the series against South Africa. So far the two matches of this series have been played in which the Sri Lanka team is leading 2-0 in the series with 100% win in both matches. Some of the great performances of some players in this series have caught our eye so we expect more players from this team to play for the Sri Lanka main team. Finally one more competition has been finished in ODI format among Sri Lanka A squad against South Africa A squad and this competition has contained total three matches and I am surprised by the performance of Sri Lanka A squad in start of this competition means in first match. They defeated the South Africa A squad in first match with massive margin of scores. Again in next second match, their squad members displayed such a strong performance same like previous match strength and again successfully added one more victory in standing points list. But in third match and this match was played today among these squads, South Africa showcased great strength in third match and also made strong comeback. Third match was the big scores match for South Africa A squad because Sri lanka sqaud managed 300 plus scores for Defeating target but South Africa batters displayed best ever performance in batting Inning and achieved all scores and secured victory but they lost this competition already with 2-1 victories.

Actually surprised with the fightback shown by Sri Lanka A so far. They lost the final match, but won the series by a margin of 2-1. And the last match was very close. Lankans made 308/6 against a quality attack that comprised of players such as Lutho Sipamla, Eathan Bosch and Tristan Luus, with Chamindu Wickramasinghe scoring 70 from 54 balls. Surprisingly Dewald Brevis picked up 4 wickets and was the best South African bowler in the match. In return, it was one-man show from David Bedingham, who made 188 from 129 balls.

Some few days later test series will start between Sri Lanka team and South Africa team and today ODI series was played and all games ended. In 3 rd game of ODI, Sri Lanka team set quite competitive target and gave 308 runs target to South Africa team. Udara showed good effort and making 90 runs in 94 balls with hitting ten 4s and one 6s. Fernando completed half century but hard effort of these batsman was not enough for win South Africa team chased down all runs in 42.5 overs and won the game but they actually lost this series. David batsman of South Africa team was so close to complete double century and total made 188 runs really good effort was performed today. Dewald bowlers took down 4 wickets in 10 overs with 46 runs. Sri Lanka did well in the first two matches, but that doesn't take away the fact that they got absolutely whacked during the third match. Lankan bowlers had no clue against David Bedingham, who ended with 20 fours and 5 sixes. Both Dinura Kalupahana and Sahan Arachchige went for more than 10 runs per over. Only the two spinners were economical (Dushan Hemantha and Nuwanidu Fernando). And the pitch at Senwes Park was not offering much support for any type of bowling.

Well, what we saw in this match was totally unbelievable. We already know that Sri Lanka A has won the first two ODI against the South Africa A team and when you saw that Sri Lanka A team made 308 runs, it was very obvious that they would have won the match but then we saw some incredible batting performance by David Bedingham who made 188 runs and won the game for South Africa A team. Many people must have placed bet on the Sri Lanka team when they saw they made 300+ runs but they could not believe their eyes as what just happened.

This time Sri Lanka A bowlers had no impact on the South African batsmen, Dushan Hemantha took 2 wickets while few other bowlers were able to take 1 wicket each. Nevertheless, Sri Lanka although lost this match, but they must be happy on winning the series 2-1.

Yes, South Africa A did come back in this match but still they aren't able to win the series. This guy David Bedingham showed some brave batting today. Scoring 188 runs in a ODI and that too in only 126 balls is not an easy task but he did it with perfection. He came right at the start and stayed there till the end not out.

I wished if he could have scored his double century but South Africa A had already chased the target and the match was over, otherwise we would have withness one of the brilliant 200 in an ODI match.

From Sri Kanka, Lahiru Udara, batting well, scored 90 runs unfortunately, he missed his century by a few runs short but he scored the most runs in this series. In this competition, total 8 matches joined and yesterday total 52 matches were successfully played and fully completed and yesterday 4 matches were played and in one of them was finished among Northern Diamonds against Northern Diamonds squad. This match was Very thrilling and interesting to see I would definitely suggest that if anyone has not watched this match they should watch it because this match was very narrow outcome among both squads. Northern Diamonds squad managed to secure a victory by achieving all scores of Southern Vipers squad in last delivery. Southern Vipers sqaud has managed 240 scores as a Defeating target off 50 overs and Northern Diamonds emerged victory with 0 deliveries and 1 wicket. Really great victory Northern Diamonds sqaud achieved yesterday. Rebecca Duckworth  and Emma Marlow  these batters completed fifty after losing first wicket and supported their squad.

Yes, their performance has been really good and fast, but if you see, winning one match would have been of no use.  If they had seen such a performance in the first matches, they could have won the series.  The Sri Lankan batsmen set a target of 308 runs in 50 overs, which was achieved by the South African batsmen.  In the first matches, the target of less than 300 has been met, but they have not fulfilled it.  Their performance is very poor because they are difficult to predict because in 5 matches they have to win 1 or 2 matches.  They should continue to play well in every match.  If they continue to play like this, no one will be affected by their performance.  Congratulations to them for this win. Sri Lankan batsmen have worked hard and struggled, but they will lose the match due to not stopping the runs of their bowlers.  Their bowlers should keep up their performances as they have been doing as the conditions dictate.  The pace of the South African batsmen was very fast.

Based on the dominant performance of Sri Lanka in the first two matches, we thought that Sri Lanka would perform well against South Africa in the third match as well. Sri Lanka also performed well in the third ODI match but South Africa performed better than them as a result of which they managed to win this match by surprise. Putting up a total of above 300 was very hard against a bowling attack that comprised of Lutho Sipamla, Eathan Bosch and Dayyaan Galiem. But the Lankans managed to do it, and perhaps went a bit complacent once they did it. But then David Bedingham just blasted the Lankan bowlers and didn't gave them any respite at all. Anyway, Sri Lanka should focus their attention towards the 4-day series now, as two matches are scheduled to be played this month. And it is going to be much more tougher when compared to the 50-over series.

Exactly they played very well in the third ODI match after losing the previous two matches. And just like you I was also thinking that the SriLankan A team will win again but South Africa A team proved me wrong.
Well in batting I really like the batting of David Bedingham. He made 188 runs. That is big score which he made. And only he played well otherwise I didn't see any good batting in the team. Only he is the reason of winning of the South African A team. By the way now the series has ended. SriLanka A team won the series with 2-0.
