It was because of Rohit Sharma innings that India was able to clinch CT title for third time. NZ took the game to 49th over despite the fact that Indian openers gave an opening stand of 105 runs. Glenn Phillips took stunning catch of Gill and two quick wickets after that brought NZ back in the game. If NZ had 20 to 30 more runs on the board then they might have won the contest. Congrats to India for winning the title without losing a single game in the tournament and applause for NZ for fighting till the end.  

Their playing like this will help them win the next CT. If they play well and keep working hard they will strengthen themselves and the next CT.  New Zealand effort was quite good but they couldn't finish them completely in 50 overs and lose the match by 1 over as they were bowled too hard which did not score as many runs.  New Zealand target should have been bigger because of their play good batsman because their bowlers have to have a bigger target to bowl harder which they succeed.  But whatever happened the desperation from New Zealand was visible in the final moments and still visible.  India will now look even stronger after their hard work and a win that could make weaker teams even weaker.

Yes, the Indian cricket team has done outstanding performance so they have won the ICC champion trophy for the third time. I think the Indian team has played the best in this CT from other ICC champions trophy. While observing the winners list of this Champions Trophy, we found that they were defeated by New Zealand in 2000, meaning they could not become champions in that trophy.

But this time the India team did not make the mistake because they were able to win through the right performance and defeated New Zealand. As per rules any team must play in host country but India is opposite in that respect. In this case ICC has fully supported India, if ICC does not do such things in favor of India then I think the beauty of cricket will increase a lot more. The other teams in the group that India was in, however, had to work extra hard, which hindered them from fully concentrating on the game. If all the teams had played Pakistan then every team might have finished the tournament with a better performance.

Kane Williamson is an experienced batsman but there is no rule that he will play well almost every day, rather he may play badly one day and it would not look good to blame him for that. However, we all know that if Williamson had batted for a long time in the final, he would have scored a lot more runs, but unfortunately, he was not able to survive for a long time in the final, which is why New Zealand could not score more than 250 runs in the final.

Before the Champions Trophy, India were losing in front of every single team, they did not have good performance and even not confident for the games but to their luck, all their players started to perform well  in the Champions Trophy. Virat Kohli was suffering from his downfall and not performing, even he went to domestic cricket to make his form better, but there he was out on bad runs, but against Pakistan he scored a century, and in the whole CT his performance was really good and amazing. While Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill too, they both were back in their good form. Bumrah was dropped, otherwise if he would be a part of the team, the team would be even more stronger.

That was pre-decided that India will play their matches in Dubai, so now since they have won the Champion Trophy, let's not try to find excuses as to why they won. It's simple, they are a better team and they deserve the title 

In the final match, there was just a single hope for New Zealand from Glenn Phillips, but when he was out, I was thinking India had won the Champions Trophy that time. Because New Zealand could not score and he was the last recognized batsman and with him out, they had more bad luck. Glenn Phillips did not try for any big or hard shot, he just tried to touch to the ball and run to take single or double but Varun Chakravarthy spin ball did not let Phillips to hit the ball, he missed it and the ball direct hits to the stump and NZ hopes were gone that time.

The pitch was quite supportive of the spinners. In the end, 251 proved to be a very competitive total. If Santner was a bit more aggressive, and had brought in Kyle Jamieson instead of the useless O'Rourke, then the match would have been a lot closer. Obviously fatigue as a result of frequent air travel was a disadvantage for the Kiwis. But they should have focused on the basics first rather than acting in an overly defensive manner. All I would say is that Santner is not exactly captain material.

Pakistan has announced his squad for new Zealand tour where they will played several t20 and ODI series, recently Pakistan has lose three back to back matches against them before and In champions trophy which indicates how poor Pakistani team  performance are. so that's why management has decided to include new name as much as possible, looking to the squad baber and Rizwan got dropped from t20 squad as well as Rizwan fired from t20 captaincy, while Salman were announced leader for t20 squad. So it's a big experiment for management to use all these new name against new Zealand to prepare a high quality aggressive talent for t20 based Asia cup and other upcoming tournaments.

New Zealand done good job but sadly in this important game their batting fail to handle situation and ended on low target which give India win while still this was good end because I was not expecting resistance from New Zealand like this at the end. Rohit Sharma done good job, and now he is having good end of his career for India with Kohli is now also back in good form which is good for India.
